Figure It Out

Xelfia refused to prove Althea right at all costs. The darkness creeped up her body, trying to enter her brain. "No you don't." Blocking it off Xelfia was afraid to let it have free rein. Her memories were something valuable to her, that she didn't want to give up. Feeling a hand touch her back Xelfia stopped the instinct to rip it off of her body. When her Mother said this link was a good thing Xelfia was happy about it, now though it just felt like hell. Her scales expanded while she pushed Tearia off her lightly as she could at the moment. On all fours once more Xelfia was in her dragon form as her scales swapped colours.

*Aghhh*

Hitting the floor a loud thump stopped Xelfia from moving as she went limp. Sitting in the doctor's office after her check up Althea felt another spike in her body. "Haha, suffer bitch." Unable to control her laughter, she knew Xelfia was suffering. "That's what you get for trying to brute force it." Xelfia temporarily stopped it before only for it to come back stronger. "Suffer!" Heading back to her room she basked in the feeling of another person's pain. She wanted to watch over every little bit in peace. "If only I could make it worse." Those longing thoughts followed her along as Xelfia stared at the ceiling frozen in pain.

"What's wrong with her Tearia?"

"I don't know, I've never seen or heard anything like this. I'm trying to analyse her body but something is fighting me off. I can't do anything to help, so it's frustrating."

"Think I can be of any assistance?"

"No, we just have to wait."

Stomping on the ground Tearia let out her stress as she watched her friend suffer. Mini explosions went off inside of Xilo's body as he consumed all the energy he could. All the energy he couldn't take spilled out into and ripped his body into pieces. "She seriously thought I could handle all of this?" Falling to the ground, Xilo felt his body being overwhelmed by the second. He could only process a small chunk at a time while the rest caused havoc. Althea watched from the side as Xilo went through this without even moving to help. "He's on his own here." She had thought about helping however she noticed one of his friends in the outside world in a similar position to him. "These two are idiots." Sighing, she really felt they were perfect together.

*Thump*

Stretching her body as much as she could, Xelfia looked towards where the sound came from. Xilo who was still this entire time fell to the ground right next to her. Hearing the girls panic, Xelfia knew Tearia and Felli were probably worried out of their minds. "Sorry, you two." Looking around the room for the first time in a while Xilo saw Xelfia in front of him. "What's happening to her?" Pushing that out through the pain Xilo hoped the woman would respond to him. "Similar to you, she's suffering as well." "Why?" "After you formed a link with her she probably didn't tell you a thing." If Althea knew herself well enough she probably edged Xelfia on forcing her into this position and Xelfia never told Xilo a thing.

"Wait what link, what are you talking about?"

"I guess this is the result of not understanding your own power. You and Xelfia are connecting together. When you helped her against the Dragon it was formed and now it's nasty side effects are torturing her."

"Why didn't you or even Xelfia tell me any of this?"

"You were both so busy and caught up with her origin and parents that I didn't want to interrupt especially when she wasn't displaying these symptoms."

"Then how do I help?"

Laughing at Xilo's stupidity, Althea couldn't keep it in.

"You've got yourself to worry about first and didn't I just tell you I don't have the answer to all of your problems? Figure this out on your own."

Being slapped with reality Xilo flinched as he scrambled to protect his body. With Xelfia in pain in front of him though it was hard to focus on himself. "I need to help her but she's right." He knew that however he couldn't keep his mind from screaming at him to help. "I'm pathetic." Caught between these thoughts more of his body was ripped apart as blood fell to the floor. Xelfia wasn't in any better condition than he was. "How do I help with a connection?" Keeping as much energy as possible calm Xilo split his focus as his destruction sped up. Dragging his body towards Xelfia, Xilo ignored the girls' looks as he tried to assure them. Face to face with the Dragon form of Xelfia, Xilo forced a smile.

An idea had come to mind that he had no idea if it would work or not

"Next..time, tell me. okay?"

Shakily Xilo raised his hand and saw Xelfia flinch for a moment. "Silly girl." Placing his hand on top of her head he glided his palm across her soft scales. Ignoring the roughness digging into his skin, Xilo rubbed her forehead as he did his best to calm her down. Injecting a bit of energy into her body, Xilo tried to act calm. Within a couple seconds Xelfia opened her beautiful eyes and stared at the man in front of her. "Xilo..." Melting, she ignored the pain as she felt her body reverting back to normal with his help. Leaning forward Xilo bumped against her forehead as he stared deeply into her eyes while she turned back into a human.

"I'm here for you."

Embarrassment crossed her face for a moment before she felt a pair of lips touch hers along with a massive amount of energy.

"Mmmm!?!?"

Overwhelmed by the energy entering her body Xelfia panicked, Xilo just kept kissing her and directing more energy into her body completely ignoring her.

Enjoy.
