Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Or will people be there to catch him if he does once again?

Crossing Paths

"Astral Energy isn't like this." Typically whenever she tracked someone it would be there at all times unless someone tried to conceal it however it was still trackable just a lot harder. "This feels like he doesn't have any Astral Energy in him anymore." It essentially felt like he was randomly hitting the on and off switch occasionally as he ran. "At least it's still findable." If it wasn't such a confined space it might have been different. "Maybe I'll ask him if I ever get the chance but more importantly now….." Looking at Tearia's body she debated asking the question that bugged her since the very beginning, in the end though she left it alone.

"Give me a break." Xilo wasn't in the mood to fight again nor did he have enough time to do so. "Whatever." Watching the man stumble for a second before facing him, he threw an ice wall up at the first sign of hostility that was shown and ran the other way as a shroud of darkness surfaced on his skin. "Hopefully no one can find me now." Before he was too distracted to do this but now he was prepared to use it. "Just have to keep track of time." Counting numbers in his head he left the man behind him confused after breaking the wall as he disappeared from sight completely.

"What just happened?"

Looking at the now empty hall he rubbed his head as he tried to find the boy who just hit him went off too but everywhere he looked was empty. "I guess he's pretty fast then, haa whatever I'll pay him back for it later, for now my friends need my help. That's more important then some rude brat running into people." Cursing Xilo in his head the man took some water from his pouch and drank it before turning around to walk up the stairs with only his heavy footsteps to keep him company. "If you think you can mess with them and get away with it your wrong." He could still remember the message he had received from then a couple minutes ago. "Especially if you touch her." With some impatience he picked up his pace.

"There's nothing here."

"So it seems but he did come here for some time at least but he probably left down those steps a little ways back."

"Then let's go, I don't want to lose him."

"Don't worry, he can't get too far from me."

Reassuring Tearia they made their way back to a set of stairs and walked down passing a man with red hair on the ground floor. "Oh, he's here." Scrunching up her face a bit she stared at the man as he greeted her with a smile before fading away but Tearia noticed their exchange.

"Know him?"

"A little bit, He's a good person for the most part however he has a bit of a temper. As long as you don't make him mad he's a nice person."

"So did you make him mad then?"

"Haha you could say that, our meeting wasn't the best the first time around. I almost killed him."

"And yet you said he's nice..."

"He is, I just thought he was trying to fight with me at first but he was just trying to save his girlfriend and thought I was his enemy."

"Seems like quite the first encounter."

"It was but that's the past."

Ignoring the red haired man the two of them walked down another set of stairs making it to the ground floor where Xilo's Astral Energy cut off completely. "well then..." Looking around Felli sensed nothing after coming to the bottom of the steps. "I wonder what happened..." Continuing to try and find any of Xilo's Astral energy she checked random places hoping for a bit of it but unlike before it was complety gone this time around. "Now what?" If she couldn't track him directly then the only thing she could do now was wander around aimlessly with Tearia and hope he wasn't too far away.

"Everything alright?"

Watching Felli bounce back and forth Tearia was a little curious about what happened.

"Well...ummm..you see..I lost him..."

"What happened to him not being able to get from you?"

"...."

Trying to Explain to Tearia what happened Felli felt a little awkward. "So Felli is also here." Putting his water away he tried to figure out why a girl like her would be here but nothing came to him before giving up quickly as he heard sounds of fighting in the distance. Hearing that he sprinted forward around a corner and saw something that made him angry. "Scum bags." Looking at a couple men in the Wolf Clan's clothing attacking his friends he bolted into action. Especially once he saw a relatively normal looking green haired girl in the distance get stabbed while fighting two of them.

"Bastards."

Watching her blood spill out of her body he felt his fire race across the floor and engulf the room in seconds as a heat wave attacked everyone in the room. Stopping them all in their tracks as their weapons burned instantly due to the intensity of the flames. "Die." Walking forward he passed his two other friends and slaughtered the men attacking them before moving on to the last two, not even bothering to watch their bodies erupt in a pile of flames.

"This is going to hurt."

He had no plans of being kind to them, to him trash like this didn't deserve any of it and they were much weaker then him. Walking closer the two men left over after watching their friends get burned shivered in place as Astral Pressure held them down with intensity they rarely felt as their minds tried to catch up with what was happening however before they could register any new thoughts they felt their skin begin to burn well their throats dried up while screaming before eventually collapsing on the spot no longer able to breath properly.

"You all alright?"

Enjoy.
