Another Snuck In

"Great, another rat managed to crawl their way in here. At least you don't seem to be hiding your face like the others."

"Why would I hide such a handsome face behind a piece of cloth? That's a tragedy to this world. Besides whether you know my face is of little importance to me. Soon this whole country will know it."

Looking at the decently handsome man, Tearia had to stifle a laugh. When she compared him to Xilo he really wasn't that good looking. His face lacked any sharpness to it leaving him looking like some kind of smug child. Along with a scar that ran across his mouth Tearia found nothing about him handsome. "No clan symbol yet he's talking big." Scanning this one with her Astral Energy she didn't sense any weird fluctuations in energy which meant this one didn't sneak in as a patient. Clutching Ravenous she grabbed a hold of the blade with both hands to stop herself from shaking as she aimed it at the man.

"Another one full of themselves, I've seen enough of you."

"Trust me girly, I'm far from the others."

Blinking at his baseless words she saw his figure disappear from the window within the time it took her to even inhale. "Fast." Looking around the room she saw his figure appear directly in front of her along with fluctuations of Astral Energy. "He teleported!" Looking at the faint purple waves he left behind Tearia noticed it was quite similar to Felli's energy. Blocking his sudden slash she felt Ravenous almost get knocked out of her hand with that attack alone. Holding on she tightened her grip as his sword pushed against her before sliding off as another blade spawned in his hand slashing at her.

"Even this weakened you're still standing, Figured with all that you've been doing lately you might have collapsed by now."

"I'm not some weakling."

"Oh please you're not fooling me."

Getting a hold of her footing she saw him teleport again as she watched every angle she could. Feeling a spike of danger behind her Tearia jumped forward while she stumbled as the man appeared behind her. "Felli's teleporting was a lot less sloppy." Tracing the energy he was producing she could get a rough idea of where he was going to be as long as she could focus long enough. Felli rarely teleported but the few times she did those fluctuations were never there. If this man never made any like that she might have already been killed.

"Tearia...Family name unknown, City of residence is Belturn and your strength has just recently hit the fourth stage after a long period of being stuck. Caused an uproar at the Belturn City tournament and is now wanted by the entire city. You're quite a well known person and yet...you're surprisingly very weak."

"Shut it. I don't need a lecture from a man who's resorting to sneaking up on someone they claim weak."

" Fair, I was supposed to silently stab you through the back after you took care of the grunts but where's the fun in that? I like seeing a proud woman fall and while I love a little fun we won't let you complete whatever you're up to here. As we speak even now more towns are being infected and a cure or even something that stalls it would put quite a big roadblock in her plans."

"Are you crazy!? Without Astral Energy people have no way to defend themselves. What if Astral beasts or others attack them?"

"Don't ask me, I don't know what's running through that crazy woman's head nor do I want to bother trying to ask. I just know what's in it for me."

"So you're a puppet."

"I prefer to be called an entertainer."

Smiling, he teleported one more time as he aimed right for Tearia's stomach with two blades. Holding one out he appeared in front of her in time to be met with a swing of her scythe. Feeling himself get blocked he smiled at her triumphant look as a blade spawned behind her back. "Let's see that smile crumble." He head read plenty about how proud a women Tearia was and those were his favourites to torture. Breaking such pride was a thrill he chased and the bigger the pride the more of a rush he got. He would take his time slowly killing her. He had a couple people outside already guarding the area so he had more than enough time to indulge himself.

Feeling a blade slice through her back, Tearia felt blood rush up her throat as pain ran through her. "He..hid that attack in his teleport." He let his energy be sloppy and obvious on purpose the first couple times in order for her to get used to it. Once that was done he snuck a blade into one his teleports along with him, completely hiding it from her sight. Staggering, Tearia used Ravenous as something to stand on as her blood stained her shirt. Wincing through the pain Tearia tried to back up but her vision was growing hazy by the second.

"Bastard...This energy..."

"Oh, did you notice then?"

"It's so...similar..."

"It looks like you did! That's great isn't it. Come now where's the snappy comeback, the fearless smile! Show it to me, let me break and snap it into pieces. Come now you haven't already given up have you? You can't be this easy to break, Tearia!"

Watching Tearia wobble back and forth the man Grabbed another blade from thin air as his smile faded slightly.

"Boring....Well you can call me Arzan. I hope you enjoy the last minutes of your life with me."

Running his finger off the blade he walked up to Tearia ready to stab her once more. He wanted her to fight back with everything she had but if she gave up there was no point. There was no fun in killing something that didn't have any want to live. Now he was just doing it for the sake of completing his assignment. Still though he would cause her the most pain he possibly could for wasting his time.

"So much for being a woman of pride..."

This one is a little late today, sorry :c
