Watching as blood flew across the room Althea was unphased as she watched one lone man dying in front of her with one of those metal knights swords straight through his chest. Bored with such an outcome she moved to turn around but something caught her eye. The man had seen her it seems and in his final moments turned to her for some form of help. Pausing her steps she walked towards him slowly as she watched the hope in his eyes grow.
Arriving next to them she heard his gurgled voice as he tried to say something while blood and air refused to move properly in his body however that was fine she didn't need to know what he said. Staring at the Metal Knight she raised her hand as it continued to stab the man and spawned a small dagger in her hand. Staring at the crimson blade in her hand along with the small engravings of words that had lost all meaning to her she gripped the black hilt that blended with purple stripes and slashed down at the Knight slicing it into two pieces as her blade continued to move cutting the sword that held the man as his joy reached an even higher height before he saw the blade eventually reach his stomach without stopping as despair replaced it in a instant.
"....Fool."
Watching the man's body fall to the ground with no more life left in him she calmly turned around and began walking again. "If you're not strong enough to defend yourself why even come here?" Grumbling in her mind about peoples uselessness she felt two pairs of eyes drill holes in her back. Feeling their weird stares she did her best to ignore them as she put her dagger away back in its sheath that she kept under her shirt hidden from the world and herself. A blade that was rarely used by her in all of her life that didn't need to be seen, that was the best place for it.
"If you have something to say speak up."
""No Ma'am.""
"Then get moving we have a job to do."
Seeing the two men encircle them Xilo couldn't keep an eye on both of them as he turned back to the main group of them. "They'll have to go through the skeletons to do something so I should focus on these three now." Staring at the assumed leader of the group he watched as she brushed her hair back while staring right back at him. Feeling a tingle of danger he raised his guard as he watched them walk closer to him. "So now they make a move." Taking a step forward he couldn't back down right now. Any sign of weakness could spell doom for them which added to all the pressure he was feeling.
Under normal circumstances he would be fine in this situation given their estimated strength but he couldn't do much right now except look scary and for a rare time in his life he hoped that it worked out for him. "I can probably handle a couple attacks but after that it's over." Watching that brown hair bounce as she walked he made sure the other two weren't up to anything as he decided to end this silent stalemate. Making sure he had enough energy to make his voice sound powerful he took a second to prepare himself as he began to speak.
"What do you think you're doing?"
Feeling some nerves he took a breath to calm himself down as he tried to be as neutral as could be but he got no response as they kept walking without saying a word to him. Confused he tried to say something else however even that didn't work. With still no response he took a second to study the way they carried themselves to see if he could spot anything. "Their getting ready to fight." Noticing the aggressive stance they had in their bodies as they slightly leaned forward he knew there wasn't a chance for negotiation as he created some ice in his hands.
"Fine then."
He only had a couple attacks in him so he had to make them count as much as possible. Afterwards he would just have to hope Felli could fill in for him or Tearia would finish quickly. "If we're playing a time game then I should start with that." Taking the ball of ice in his hand he slammed it into the ground and let it spread around the floor. He couldn't cover much distance but a few meters with it was all he needed. It was simply an area he could somewhat control that deterred them from moving forward however in the next second he felt his heart drop as heard a fire roar to life.
"One fire user."
Watching the brown haired woman casually burn his ice he grumbled in his mind at the sheer strength of it. Most around his level couldn't even crack it let alone break it but she managed to burn it completely. "Damn fire." Knowing it was one of his ice's weaknesses this fight just got a lot harder for him. "If I can even call it that." Creating more ice he made sure it was more compact as he created a dagger in his hand along with more to use. "Getting close is bad so let's go with this method." Forming a spike with the extra ice he aimed it at their little group as threw it at them as hard as he could while more ice spawned in its place.
"A few more." Checking his levels of strength he quietly counted down how many more attacks he had left in him as another dagger flew their way but it was deflected with ease as a voice range in his ears finally.
"Is that all you got? You really must be tired."
Following that a flare of fire grew in his eyes as a fireball grew while flying towards him.
Got distracted today so it was a bit late, sorry :c
Enjoy.
