A Tough Opponent

Standing behind a tree Xilo felt his body become heavy just from standing there. "We need to run." That was the only thought that could get through his head at the moment. Everything else was being drowned out by the pressure of that power. Looking at Xelfia even she seemed to not be able to completely wave it off like normal. "She's that strong?" They had very limited ground left to work with unless they went back the same way they came. "We can't turn around now..." Leaving was the last thing he wanted to do however he might not really have a choice here. Trying to think about what to do he felt a shiver run down his spine as the sounds of Relia and Xelfia's breathing was the only thing he heard.

"Are you having fun hiding?"

Until that rhythmic breathing broke along with that soft voice.

"How though?" He didn't quite understand how they were caught but it seems whoever sat up there already knew about them. "Do we keep hiding? or just charge in before backup arrives then." If they were already found out there was no way they would let them run so now it was just a matter of what approach to take. Feeling Relia panic rise while he was thinking he sighed as he gave up trying to think about it. "I guess this is where we part ways." turning around he grabbed her shoulders as he looked her in the eyes while they grew bigger in her panic.

"Hey Relia?"

".....?"

Hearing Xilo's voice she focused on him as she tried to calm herself down.

"I want you to run back the way we came, Alright?"

"She doesn't need to be put into senseless danger." Before he brought her along because it didn't seem that dangerous but now that was a different story and with him misunderstanding her emotions it resulted in this, however he had no way to know the voices in her head were starting to come back once again stronger than ever. Yet hearing him say such things her body froze as all the voices in her head silently stopped almost as if they were waiting for Relia's decision. With a clear mind she looked back into his silver eyes as her eyes stopped losing control and felt her body calming down. "What's he talking about? leaving him? Is that something I want?" Tilting her head she watched as the small red specks flickered around his eyes almost as if they were showing the panic he was feeling at the moment before leaking out one word.

"...no..."

Hearing her answer Xilo was slightly grateful but still she had to go.

"No isn't the answer I'm looking for, leave now."

"....."

Feeling slightly sad she felt her body turnaround against her will as Xilo pushed her down the mountain slightly while her blue hair got caught in her eyes as she stopped moving while a silent voice whispered in her head while she felt herself begin to walk away as a sadness crawled along her skin. "Why?" was the only thing she could think of while she felt her body move on it's own down the mountain until she heard something ring in her head. "We are not cowards." along with another. "We do not run from danger." Along with more soon her head was filled with nothing but thousands of voices screaming at her as she felt her mind shattering. "Yet out of all of us. You are by far the weakest and biggest disappointment." The new voice managed to break through all that sounded slightly similar to Azalu's. "but...I'm useless." Watching Xilo walk off towards the top she felt powerless attack her for the first time ever since she had given up.

Long ago she had stopped trying in life and just let everything pass her by. She was useless and broken with nothing going for her but endless torture constantly in her life. "Yet, you've found three people you've begun to consider friends?" "I don't quite know." "Do you want to know though? What life really is?" "..." She didn't know what voice was talking to her now or why they seemed so different suddenly but she didn't care. Halting her steps she paused before she followed the path she thought was best.

Walking up to the top, Xelfia was right behind him the whole way. "No point in hiding now." Within less than a minute he was at the top of the mountain where he was before as he spotted a hooded figure that seemed slightly familiar standing at the cliff with their backs towards them. "Strong." Standing next to them he could feel their strength a lot more clearly now as Xelfia grabbed a hold of his hands.

"So lovebirds, You two decided to show yourselves."

Listening to their voice Xilo was slightly taken by surprise by their voice. "So it's a woman." From a far he didn't really hear it clearly but now he could but along with the lightning that was traveling around her body he had the feeling she was a lot more dangerous then she sounded. "Lightning element as well it seems, Never seen that before." Examining her he tried to see her face as she turned around but the hood covered most of it, "Meh." Not minding it too much he felt another presence sneak up behind them but ignored it for now.

"You're trespassing on a private area, Plus you've killed quite a bit of my subordinates along the way."

"Oh am I? I suppose you wouldn't mind letting us go then?"

"Of course....not."

Hearing that he sighed as a bolt of lightning came flying straight at him and Xelfia.

"Figures."

Jumping out of the way he felt a wall of lightning rise up around their area trapping the three of them in completely. "Well, I didn't plan to run anyway." Ignoring the lightning he felt her attack hit his body after being unable to dodge while it travelled through him, stuttering his movements. Thankfully Xelfia managed to dodge the attack as she created more plants getting ready to attack. "She seems to be at the Seventh Stage, so this is going to be rough." Gauging her strength from that attack Xelfia was a little worried but she did her best to hide it while concentrating.

Enjoy.
