Sneaking Off pt. 2

  "Do you want to go or not?" He glowered, growing annoyed by the second.

Sheesh, what a moody person.

"I do! But I'm still confused."

What does he mean by he will carry me anyway? I don't get it. At least tell me the reason, you moody duke.

"We can't use a carriage because that is eye-catching. Those people might be setting their eyes on the palace so they would definitely see what comes and go at the gates. Hence why you only need a coat and nothing else," he then explained which really made sense.

"O-okay. I'll get a robe then," I replied.

Say no more! That's all I needed to hear!

I quickly grabbed one from the rack and speeded out of the room because Lukas did not bother to wait for me. Seeing me get out of the door, Eve immediately stepped in as well to accompany me and fulfill her duty but Lukas gave her a hard look instead, nailing her in place.
