Chapter 69: Battle Begins
The crowd was in turmoil. The Vice Head shouted, "Silence!!"
The crowd became silent. He called a group of medics to tend to the injured member. They took him away. He stared at Zeke and saw the surprise in his eyes. But he still had to do something. He said, "Ryeong, did you do that intentionally?"
Zeke replied, "No Sir, I did not. I recently broke through to the Demon realm and still haven't been able to control my power perfectly. I apo-"
"Bullshit!!"
He was interrupted by a member of the Demon Sword Squad, who rushed at him with his sword unsheathed. Zeke's eyes became cold. He could see that the member had the intention of killing him, or at least seriously injuring him with this surprise attack. Just as the member got close enough to attack, he felt intense dread.
He stopped instantly. He heard a voice that seemed to come from the icy depths of hell in his war, "You even try to move and you will die."
