The only time I really knew how I felt about everything going on in my life was when I was alone. I realized how sad I was and how there were so many bad things happening to me. I was beginning to lose hope, both for Kassy's return and mum's recovery.

Mum did not wake up the next day or two days later. She had already spent six days in the coma and the doctor was getting worried. He never told me anything bad, but I had the feeling something was wrong. I decided to move back to my house because it was easier for me that way.
