'What does she want you to do from here then? What good is it doing anyone if you're getting high blood pressure from thinking about Ryan?' Alicia asked.

'The poor boy is in a lot of pain. Blue says he's been in the hospital repeatedly for the past month. How would you feel if that were Kolin?' I asked Alicia. 

'I guess I won't be stupid enough to have sex with a man whose genotype doesn't mix well with mine.' 

I hated that she said those words. It was like she did not care that Ryan was Nate's child. It was also unlike her. She was the person that cared for everyone and suddenly, she was acting like she did not want anything to do with Blue or Ryan.

'Stop it. Blue was probably ignorant, and nobody wants their child to go through what Ryan is going through. She wouldn't have said anything to me if it was not so bad. The money she needs to save her son is too much.' I heard myself shout but I was perfectly calm.
