'He said Nate was innocent.' I said after forcing myself to swallow the food in my mouth.

She turned around sharply and stared at me. It was almost like she had gotten the piece of the puzzle that had been missing. But she was not investigating Nate's case, why did what Desmond tell me interest her so badly?

'Is that all he said?' 

I wanted to tell her about the part where he said everything was Alicia's fault, but I held back.

There was no point in putting Alicia in trouble for Nate's choices.

'He mentioned a guy named Foreign. He said that was the person Nate had learnt how to cook drugs from.' I looked at my food and suddenly, my mouth was filled with a salty taste.

I knew what came next. I knew I was going to throw up what little food I had in my stomach.

'Foreign. What's his other name?' She asked the same question I had asked Desmond.

'He didn't tell me, but he…' I wanted to tell her about the picture then I stopped.
