That morning, unlike usual, Allen woke up with a surprisingly refreshed body. It was the first time in a long while that he felt truly well-rested, which caused him to oversleep more than usual. As he groggily checked the time, he realized, "I'll be an hour late..."

After confirming the coast was clear, Allen began to dress. He glanced at the doorless birdhouse he had bought at the market district last year. It was intended for the crow that used to follow him everywhere. "Looks like she's not coming back anymore," Allen mused, "I'd better get rid of this."

Usually, Allen exited the room through the window to avoid any unnecessary interactions. But today, since he had that collar, he decided to use the door for a change
