For the next two weeks, Yu Qingyu led a pretty leisurely life. As he was not allowed to walk around too much, he spent most of his time in his room at the dorms, sleeping, or just lying around on the bed. Out of boredom, he started reading school textbooks left behind by the students from before the outbreak.
Ning Yanyao visited him every day, taking him for a checkup, and to get his daily food provisions, which, although much larger than a small pack of crackers, still were not enough for a big, grown man. He was usually given a bowl of rice, some raw vegetables, twice he got a boiled egg. On top of that, half a glass of milk, and a small biscuit. It helped quieten his grumbling stomach, but not for long. Of course, despite feeling hungry, Yu Qingyu didn't complain out loud, but Ning Yanyao seemed to have noticed his disappointment anyway.
