1.4 HOW MUCH YOU MEAN TO ME.

It has been hours since Alisa's encounter with Giovanni. It has been hours since Alisa's encounter with Giovanni.

In the old rundown base, there was a devilishly handsome man laying on the floor with a pale face.

"Host he is having a fever, quick treat him." the system was really anxious. After the man opened his eyes for a brief moment,  Alisa brought him with her in the base. He has been unconscious for hours and just started to have a fever.

Alisa stayed awake the night to take care of him. She didn't know why but she was attracted to this man, so she took care of him without hesitation. She has experienced 99 miserable lifetimes and craves for love more than anyone else and if she really is attracted to this man, then she doesn't mind taking the initiative to approach him.

After helping him with his fever all night Alisa fell asleep at dusk beside Giovanni due to exhaustion. it was a really tiring day for Alisa. Jumping off a plane, swimming in the deep sea, hiking in an unfamiliar jungle, treating a devilishly handsome man and fighting an assassin. The day couldn't have gone any better.

As the sunshine came through the broken window, Alisa opened her eyes just to see the man she helped staring at her with a strange gaze.

"Uhm, you are awake, so umm how are you feeling?" cursing herself for her nervousness in her mind, Alisa tried to be calm. Keyword 'tried' she was still very nervous, it was the first time she was attracted to a man and she looked like a mess with all her hair tangled, dirt on her face and torn clothes she couldn't look any worse. Her mind was a mess but her face didn't show any of it.

"Yes, thank you," Giovanni said while looking anywhere but her, She might not know how she looked right now but he did and damn she looked like a hot mess. With torn clothes and messy sex hair, if his self-control was even a little worse he would have just pushed her down and had his way with her, right here and now.

"I'm Giovanni Ferrero, CEO of Ferrero Industries and you are?" He asked Alisa with his professional poker face while calming down his heart.

His voice was low and husky adding onto his charm. It made Alisa laugh when she heard girls saying that a man's voice can make their ears pregnant but when listing to his voice it wouldn't be any more true.

Although she was charmed by this man and his voice she still looked calm of the surface but only people close to her would notice her stiff moments and red ears hidden under her hair.

"I'm Alisa Cooper, heir to the Cooper corporation." She subconsciously replied professionally because of his professional introduction.

"Do you know where this is?" He asked wanting to continue hearing her voice.

"I don't know which island we landed on but this seems like an old military base, there is some old radio equipment in the back we can try to contact people with it," Alisa said while pointing towards a back door.

Giovanni subconsciously stood up wanted to go and take a look but he felt his wounds hurt and sat back down. "Careful if you move too suddenly or too forcefully your wounds might open up. I couldn't treat them properly because of limited resources but it will be fine if you don't run and jump, as for moving around it will be fine in a few days." Alisa explained while helping him sit.

"I cannot stay here for long there are people hunting me down and I don't want to implicate you in my problem."

"It's alright after you fell unconscious 3 more assassins came afterwards, They are in the back room. I also asked them if there were more assassins and they replied negatively so you don't have to worry about it."

Giovanni was shocked hearing this, you have to know that the assassins hunting him were all professional and experienced, looking at the confident woman in front of him without any bruises or wounds Giovanni was first dazed and then the corner of his lips very slightly hooked upwards, sure enough, how can the women he is interested in being so simple.

"Thank you again and sorry, I have been a nuisance to you" Giovanni genuinely apologised for the troubles he has caused. If his family members or gang saw him apologising so humbly, their jaws would drop on the floor.

Just like that Alisa took care of him for a few days. They got familiar with each other, Alisa never asked him about the assassins so Giovanni never said anything about that, with the tacit understanding they never talked about that issue.

The more they interacted with each other, the more they were attracted to each other, with Giovanni being injured and Alisa being naive in the matters of love all they needed was an opportunity to confirm their feelings for each other.

The golden opportunity arrived in the names of Luis and Sasha. Not long after Alisa meets Giovanni, Sasha approached Luis. In the original plot, Luis and Alisa meet Sasha a few days after arriving on the island but because Luis was alone this time he began to search for other survivors and meet Sasha halfway. In the days they were travelling together they started going out and have been together since.

Alisa has been very confused with her feelings all this time, she craves for love at the same time she is afraid of falling in love. She is sure that she is very attracted to Giovanni but she doesn't know if she likes him, and furthermore, she has no idea if Giovanni feels the same.

Experiencing only misery and heartbreaks when it comes to love, she is very scared that Giovanni doesn't feel the same and her feeling may even be a nuisance to him. Although she might be strong, confident and have high IQ when it comes to feeling she is always very confused.

For thousands of years, she did not feel any emotions and when she really came in contact with them, it was too overwhelming so she just locked them up.

After 5 days of rest, Giovanni was able to move around without any problems and the first thing they did was to send and radio transmission back home for help.

Giovanni is the CEO of the leading IT company of the country naturally knows his way around with electronics. The radio might be a bit old but after repairing it for a day they were able to send back a transmission to their families, Now all they had to do was wait.

Living her days with Giovanni she forgot about the plot until one day all her emotions came rushing to her making her fall unconscious when she saw Giovanni return from the beach with Sasha on his tail and Luis in the back.

She knew it was impossible for Giovanni to like or even look at Sasha, she knew it very well, although her mind knew it she still felt her heart aching at the sight of them walking together, even if there was a noticeable distance between the two, her heart still hurt. She knew right then and there that she was madly in love with this man.

Instead of falling to the floor, she fell into a comfortable embrace, knowing that she was in safe hands she let herself fall unconscious.

While going towards the beach to see if the help has arrived Giovanni meet an annoying couple, like all the other women the moment the girl saw him, greed and lust showed in her eyes and the boy gave him a look filled with malice. Ignoring the two Giovanni walked to the beach, seeing that the help won't be arriving today he made his way back to the old base.

Thinking about going back a figure flashed in his eyes and the corner of his lips curled up. Without knowing when and how, he started to look forward to each day with her, talking with her, laughing with her, cooking with her, falling in love with her.

He knows that they have been together for only a few days but for him, 5 days were enough to fall in love with her. Now he cannot even imagine his life without her.

When he saw Alisa looking in his direction he subconsciously increased his pace and gave her a smile but what happens next froze his smile. Noticing something was wrong with Alisa, with all his speed he ran the short distance towards her and caught her before she hit the ground.

"Hey! Hey! Come on open your eyes, what happened to you."

Giovanni was never this nervous even when dealing with the worlds most dangerous mafias. He knew he was falling for this woman in his arms but not until this moment did he realize how much she meant to him and how much he loved her.
