"Aghh, why did Jin-er act like that?!" Xi Ming screamed as he smashed a beautiful jade vase on the ground.
"She promised me we would be friends forever, so why? Why does it seem like she hates me now?" Xi Ming muttered to himself, almost on the verge of tears. "Why?"
Xi Ming's chambers were a far cry from the quiet, neat room they once were.
On the floor lay several broken pieces of ceramics and jade, tables were overturned, the floor was stained with ink, and paper and scrolls were scattered everywhere.
Xi Ming could not control himself. The thought that Ye Jin may have come to hate him sent his mind spiraling out of control, so he needed to vent somehow.
He needed to let go of his dark thoughts, the thought that... what if he chained her? What if he kept her locked away, in a place only he could see her, could worship her? Then she would never be able to leave him. She would never be able to push him away.
No, he can't.
