"Your Highness just needs to rest, and you will be fine in no time," the imperial doctor said as he dropped a thin thread into his box filled with medicine.
Xi Ming smiled gently at the doctor. "Thank you, I will do just that."
He turned to his maids and smiled gently at them.
"Thank you for all your help during the time I was unconscious, but you all heard the doctor, I need to rest now."
The maids blushed and quickly bowed. "Yes, Your Majesty," and scurried out of the room.
Once the room was empty, Xi Ming let out a deep breath, his cheerful demeanor fading, becoming indifferent.
"Yi."
Yi came out swiftly from the shadows of the room and knelt down on one knee before Xi Ming.
"Your Highness."
"Report," Xi Ming said, his voice low but commanding.
"The task has been completed as ordered. The noble sons are no more, except the prime minister's. His sight has been taken, as per your instructions."
Xi Ming nodded.
