4.7: BOSS AFTER WORK

Yujun felt a sense of familiarity wash over him as he followed Chen Wei, the resonance of authority and power surrounding his boss unmistakable. The aura of the Emperor, even in this new life, seemed to exude from him effortlessly.

As they walked, Chen Wei's question brought Yujun back to the present moment. "Ah, the restaurant reservation," he recalled, mentally checking his calendar. "Yes, boss, it's all set. The reservation is for 2:30, so everything should go smoothly for your date."

With that, Yujun began to step forward, intending to hail a taxi. However, his movement was abruptly halted as Chen Wei's grip tightened, pulling him back. Yujun turned, a hint of puzzlement in his expression. "Is there something else, boss?"

Chen Wei's gaze, sharp and unwavering, met Yujun's. "Haoran, work has not concluded for the day. You are to accompany me to the restaurant," he stated, his voice leaving no room for negotiation.
