"Stop," A gentle and loving yet commanding and resolute feminine voice echoed in Arjuna's head.
Arjuna's feet froze in their steps. "Why are you doing this?" He looked up at the lightning and asked in a slow voice.
"Everything I do is according to the rules of the Multiverse," The voice replied.
"You act according to your rules; that's fine with me, but why aren't you letting me do my duty and save my disciple," He argued in anger.
"Because he doesn't need protection," The voice too replied straight away.
"Then why did you create lightning with a hint of destruction for him?" Arjuna asked.
"For Creation, there needs to be Destruction," The voice responded.
Arjuna was puzzled by the response of the Multiverse. "Boom," Before he could respond back, the lightning hit Dev's skeleton.
"NO!" Arjuna exclaimed in terror, seeing the lightning hit Dev.
