Alexander removed his cannies from her after a while, and she sighed in relief, "Wifey, I really don't want you to always encourage me to drink your blood; it makes you weaker," he said, covering her body with the duvet, and observing her trembling.
"Are you feeling much better now, Young…., "You haven't stopped that, should I take your back there?"
"Are you sending me away?"
"No, I just think you should be there, and…, "I want to stay with you, meaning we're sleeping together," Inara yelled excitedly and hurriedly lay flat on the bed, "We haven't gotten you treated yet, wifey,"
"I am fine, as you can see. I should be the one addressing your wounds. Alexander, does it still hurts?" she inquired in a sad voice, making him divert his glance to her, "No,"
He then lay next to her, Inara turned to face him, and they stared eyeball to eyeball, "Is something wrong with my eyes?"
"Your eyes are exceptional, and I prefer them that way. I heard you went to battle around the age of sixteen. Is this true, Alexander?"
"Yes. I couldn't die on the battlefield; it appears you've been gathering information about me while I was away. Silly girl!"
Inara furrowed her eyebrows at him and frowned slightly, "I'm terrified of seeing you die; I don't want to be a widow anytime soon. Everyone here wants you to die, but you have a weak wife who can barely defend herself. I feel like I've become a burden to you; you almost died today because of me," she said, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Wifey, you will never be a burden to me; you are not weak. If you were, you wouldn't be here now, and I'm glad I married you. So don't grieve; even if I were to die, I'd make sure you saw all the good things in life. I won't leave you anytime soon, okay?"
"Are you sure about this?"
"Yes. How should I prove it to you?" Alexander inquired gently, and Inara went closer to him, "By resting on your chest till I fall asleep, "Permission granted, wifey,"

Alexander finds himself in an unknown location; he sees a lady crying furiously, and the need to hurry to her fills his body, but he cannot move an inch.
Something was preventing him from approaching her, and then a man appeared out of nowhere, standing in front of him.
"Control your demon, you're angry because of the pain her heart felt," the man stated, and Alexander furrowed his brow at him, "How did you know I was one?"
"I know my own type, and you don't know anything about yourself, which is why you detest seeing her in suffering. Though you don't know if your heart belongs to her or not, but she's hurting within,"
"Who are you talking about?"
"Your wife is not who you believe she is, and she is gradually becoming your weakness. You must stay away from her, or her personality will be revealed sooner. And if this happens, there will be a great calamity in the supernatural world,"
"I thought only demons and witches existed that's why we aren't united, "Vampires are a rare supernatural being. A long time ago, a man and a woman fell profoundly in love with each other; they didn't realize they weren't humans until they created a bond.
Their union caused havoc in the supernatural world because they were the prophesied rulers. After they became the rulers, they gave birth to a beautiful baby girl; as she grew older, she plummeted profoundly with a man.
Meanwhile, the precise lady was a vampire, while the man was the Demon King. The lady disobeyed her kingdom's rules owing to her genuine love for the Demon King, and the Demon King eventually snatched her virginity. A few days later, the lady became ill. The Demon King learned she was genuinely pregnant with his baby," the man paused. Alexander was so engrossed in the story that he found himself wondering, "What happened next?"
"The Demon King killed her after she gave birth to a baby boy, whom he does not kill after discovering the infant is of his own kind. A few days after his birth, the Demon King tossed the infant into the gloomy forest, where he eventually died,"
The man was in tears as he told the story, but he tried to disguise it from Alexander, "Have you ever felt your heart aching because of someone?" he questioned, lifting his brows at him.
"What does that mean?" Alexander inquired, "It's something terrible you should never feel; perhaps I was correct about your wife's identity, my son," the man responded, noticing a touch of bewilderment in Alexander's gaze.
