Huo Mian walked into the courtyard with a troubled look on her face. It was nine o'clock.
Her mother was still knitting a scarf for her and Zhixin.
She bought the yarn herself, which was cheap. Her mother was weaving with her agile fingers.
Soon it would be winter and they could use it.
Huo Mian poured a glass of warm water and walked up to her mother.
"Mom, have some water… take a break."
"Okay."
Yang Meirong happily took the water and put down the ball of yarn in her hand.
"Mom, I want to tell you something."
"Speak."
"This weekend, our class is organizing an outdoor field trip. We'll be back about Sunday. The teacher and classmates are all going."
"Sure, you should go then… How much do you have to pay?"
Yang Meirong was about to take money out of her pocket.
