Prologue

Landric, one of the two people with super powers in the world, is gambling with Gunner, the other person in the world with powers. The two of them are playing Go Fish. Landric is 6'0 tall, 20 years old, with short brown hair and a wide face. Gunner is also 6'0 tall, 21 years old, with long, brown curly hair running down the sides of his face. Both of them are pretty buff (Gunner more so), and sitting at a small table with their chins propped on their fists looking down at the cards in their other hand. Landric has three cards left, Gunner has five. "Three of Spades" Gunner says with much confidence in his voice. "Damnit!" Landric exclaims "How the hell did that happen?" as he throws his remaining cards on the table. Gunner proceeds to laugh as Landric walks around with his head in his hands- at least, until Landric starts laughing as well. "What's so funny?" Gunner asks with obvious suspicion in his voice. "I don't have to pay" Landric says with a smug face. "Yes you do, you rightfully lost our bet". "Sure, I did lose our bet, but you're not legally allowed to gamble with me. I'm only 20 years old". "What? You said you were 21!" "It's not illegal to lie is it? You gambled with someone under the age of the gambling law, and I have the police coming to arrest you as we speak"

At this point Gunner is redder than a tomato. He's practically on the edge of utter chaos. I mean, if something did happen to set him off, all of this town would be completely destroyed, along with all the people in it, and Landric knows this, so he wouldn't do anything stupid right? Except he did. He started to flaunt that he'd imprisoned the only other person in the world with powers, leading to Gunner using his powers turning the entire town into a barren wasteland with one lightning strike, leaving only him and Landric to duke it out. Just as Gunner throws a katana sized lightning bolt at Landric, Landric turns his body to rubber, the lightning having no effect on him. Immediately afterwards Landric turns his arm to lava and shoots said lava at gunner, but gunner quickly moves out of the way. They both stared at each other, trying to catch their breath before a tiny spec falls from the sky. They both immediately gain curiosity in this spec and lean in to examine it further. "It's... a booger?" both of them say at the same time. Right after saying this, the booger erupts into a perfect circle of black, almost like a black hole, and launches both Gunner and Landric on opposite sides of the planet.

Suddenly Luka wakes up from that dream. "A booger, huh?" he thinks to himself yawning. To be fair, I'm the narrator and even I didn't expect it to be a booger, so it's a fairly reasonable question to ask. Luka gets up, puts on his clothes, brushes his teeth, showers, and gets on the school bus going to school. Little did he know, this was the most important day of his life.
