Seraphina's smile dimmed when she heard the question and noticed the heaviness that Lucian's voice carried as he asked the question.
He was clearly unhappy, not because of the thought of that mysterious man coming to meet her again, but at the idea of him teaching her the water spell - a spell related to Lucian's main elemental magic.
Seraphina quickly shook her head to deny. "I learned it on my own. That's why I was so excited to show it to you."
She watched as Lucian visibly relaxed. He stood up from the couch and walked toward her. She watched as he moved his fingers around her water globe, efficiently shifting it into different shapes right in front of her eyes.
Being a water element user, everything he did seemed so natural and easy. His hands moved with precision, controlling the flow of water as though it were an extension of himself.
