Chapter 3

Zach's life in prison has improved in the last two weeks. Ramsen's group stopped bullying him as they realized Zach wouldn't fight back or pose a challenge. They shifted their bullying to other new inmates who appeared more confrontational.

Macky a prisoner from block C, has been absent from his cell for several days since he was taken by the DOH for testing to prevent further infection among the inmates. He will be returned once he's cleared and deemed safe.

Many have reportedly died due to a combination of illnesses. Their bodies were immediately cremated. shared by Tuanzon with them in Block C.

Tuanzon is in Block F, which is right in front of block cell."

Maybe because of the intense heat inside and the overcrowding, getting sick here is inevitable. I don't know why the government hasn't done anything about it until now," Carlo said to Tuanzon, his companion in front of their cell.

Yes infact, I don't know why Frank hasn't returned yet. It's just a common cold for him. Tuanzon mentioned his relationship inside the block.

2 Days after..

The following events were extremely unfortunate. The prisoners who were previously taken due to minor illnesses were returned to their respective cells. However, they are now unconscious and lifeless, resembling withered vegetables. Many of them seem to be growing something on their bodies.

"Move aside, give some space for your companion. they need rest , they will wake up,soon" said the individuals wearing PPE and facemasks who claimed to be from the (DOH)."

Macky is one of the prisoners from Block C who was taken because they said he had chickenpox, but when Zach looked at him, it seems that the rashes on his body have worsened, and his skin color has changed."

"Sir, it seems like our companion's condition has

worsened," he said to the staff.

But only a sharp gaze was the response it gave him. Though Zach had many questions for the staff present, he remained tight-lipped. He understood that people outside viewed them as dangerous, ferocious beasts because their case involved murder."

10 hours have passed.....

Zach woke up abruptly from his slumber on top of the hammock, as if there was a commotion happening in the adjacent cell, Block F.

Frank, that's enough!" Tuanzon shouted.

Zach peered through, but he couldn't see much inside because other prisoners were blocking his view.

Brod, what happened?" asked some of my companions in the cell, referring to the people in Block F.

Frank woke up, but he seemed like a rabid dog, biting us," said the man from the other side, seemingly having a bite mark on his arm.

Some prisoners then started to beat Frank, but he appeared strong and unfazed.

"Wooooh!!! Woohhh!!!"

The sound of cheers and excitement echoed in the air.

After a while, it seemed like some of them began to scream.

Ahhhhhh!!!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!! Ahhhbh

Frank had bitten someone, causing a lot of blood to flow, and he even ate the flesh of the prisoner he had bitten.

More cells were affected, and more commotion and shouting ensued.

The other cells were shocked, chaos broke out, and they were shouting.

"Let us out! Help!"

Noise filled every corner of the cell as the pleading prisoners wanted to be released.

"Hey, help, help!" shouted one prisoner, as he was attacked by his fellow inmate. It seemed like he was in great pain while his insides were being devoured."

Zach witnessed how the people in the adjacent cell turned into fierce beings, their eyes burning with rage, wanting desperately to attack but restrained by their imprisonment.

"What happened? Why did they become like that?" Zach's companions asked with tears in their eyes.

"I'm sure it has something to do with the prisoners brought in by the Department of Health," Zach quickly glanced at Macky, who seemed to be moving slightly."

They all looked at Macky, who seemed to be moving slightly. After a while, he stood up with his eyes glaring. Immediately, the prisoners in Block C threw punches at Macky."

But it seemed strong and devoured one of Zach's companions. Block C erupted in shouts again.

"We need to get Macky inside the bathroom)!"Zach shouted .

They quickly helped push Macky into the bathroom, tied a blanket around his body, and gagged his mouth.

"Grrrrr!" Macky shouted in a rampage.

It was too late for one prisoner whom Macky attacked. It seemed like we were already doomed, as the prisoner's stomach was ripped open, and his insides spilled out."

After successfully getting Macky into the bathroom, they all looked at the man lying lifeless. Arman could have been released next month," said Dalman, his friend.

"What's happening? Why did they become like this?"

After a while, the police entered the scene. "Oh my god, what's happening here?" exclaimed PO4 Resco, accompanied by four other police officers.

"I heard them shouting earlier, Chief. I couldn't get close because they seemed intimidating," said a young police officer.

In an instant, someone bit the hand of a police officer, who was with PO4 Resco

. Ahhhh!"

Immediately, one of their colleagues, in defense, opened fire and shot the person who bit the police officer.
