A Mind Sharper Than a Two-Edged Sword

สุธน and มณีปัทมา knew they had to go อุดอรปัญจา, and stop the coup staged by พฤธาร์. But how would they leave the หิมพานต์ forest? So all climbed out of the large window, ready to fight; as the battle raged on สุธน was found cornered, but มณีปัทมา decided to distract the enemy by hollering and screaming, drawing them away. They caught มณีปัทมา, but little did they know that she had a mind sharper than a two-edged sword. มณีปัทมา pleaded: "Can I have a dance with my wings and tail?", thinking nothing of it the enemy soldiers went along, not knowing one bit that they were tricked and the wings could fly. มณีปัทมา danced for a while, but slowly started lifting off the ground until she was in the air, arrows flying at her from all sides she hid in a tree. Then the enemies went looking for her but then มณีปัทมา bound them with lighting so blinding that you couldn't see their wrists.

But มณีปัทมา knew she had to infiltrate the core, so she flew up to พฤธาร์'s room and waited, then she realized it was too late.
