She did not expect to hear this from him, what happened to his usual teasing self? Lyn felt him caress her back.
"I already admitted how much of a jerk I was to you at the start. I can't give anymore excuses why I behaved that way. It would not surprise me if you hated me, but instead your praising me?"
"Well, I hated you a little." Lyn admitted. "But I could never truly hate you."
Even though he kept his distance from her, there were occasions where he would show her kindness. During those rare moments, she understood.
