The lake behind the dormitory is the place Caroline chose at this time, she and Livina's mother teleported there. Caroline couldn't get through the front door and she couldn't ask other Werewolves for help either.

Her blue beads could see the same scene, the view of a frozen lake with snow covering the road. Caroline sighed harshly looking up at the bright sky. Last night she found out that Jennifer and Luis were locked up.

And this morning she had come to this place again, the sickening place she wanted so badly to avoid. Livina's mother looked at Caroline before following Caroline's steps, it was still early and Caroline still had time to find out why they were both locked up.

The two of them walked without fear, no one could see their presence now. Livina's mother's magic was immense and capable of doing anything at this point, including by making them invisible. Caroline turned her head to look in the direction where the prison was.

His steps quickened more and more, passing every guard who fell asleep instantly. Livina's mother smiled contentedly letting Caroline do what she wanted. Caroline's tears were about to come out again but she quickly wiped them roughly.

"What happened?"

Caroline looked up at Luis and Jennifer who were still closing their eyes, whether they were still sleeping or they were unconscious, Caroline didn't know. Caroline sighed, snarling tightly at the cold cell.

Looks like she can't wait any longer, she has to see the Chief. Caroline got up and looked at Livina's mother who seemed to know the plan "no!"

Those words made Caroline want to argue but Luis' voice stopped her. She had broken Livina's mother's magic and Luis could see Caroline in front of his eyes.

"Luis..!"

Luis smiled, walked over to Caroline behind the bars "why did you come back!"

Luis looks panicked, what's going on? Was there something wrong with him coming back?

"Nicholas.. your stepbrother is here!"

Like being hit by a boulder, Caroline couldn't hide her surprised look. She looked so scared with his beads shaking, his body shivered so coldly with the memories of that time.

Livina panicked when Caroline's body just fell. Luis even looked worried, although, in the end, he couldn't do anything in the prison cell. Caroline's breath hitched, she looked like she was re-opening a bad memory.

That was the reality, that she was still afraid of the memories of his past. Livina's mother approached trying to help Caroline who was getting worse "Caroline.."

Panic!

It was natural, but Luis immediately touched Caroline's cheeks. Staring right at the blue bead, wishing he could make Caroline realize "it's me! Everything will be fine. But please go away for now!"

Luis can only say this, he doesn't know what he can do when he can't do anything. It felt like he was useless again and Luis hated moments like this.

"Sorry..!"

Caroline shook her head, she calmed down trying to reassure Luis that it wasn't his fault. She was just too down with the past, she should have realized that she was not alone. There was Luis, Livina, Jennifer, and Livina's mother were by his side.

And Caroline immediately got up and looked at Luis who smiled at her "I won't run away! This time I'll face him!"

Luis shook his head quickly, he couldn't let Caroline face everything alone at this point. If he hadn't been caught by Nicholas this probably wouldn't have happened. Caroline turned to look at Livina's mother who said that someone was watching them.

Turns out there wasn't much time, and Caroline smiled broadly at Luis now "we'll see who loses this time!"

Caroline walked away, looked at the place where the person was "are you going to stay there! Nicholas..!"

Caroline showed a smirk, looking at a man who laughed contentedly at her "You're finally here, sister"

Older sister!

Did Caroline not hear wrong, the man called her brother. Caroline immediately laughed loudly looking at her stepbrother in disbelief "Since when did I become your sister, you seem to forget that I don't have a family like yours!"

The man was angry, approached Caroline who looked relaxed "you are nothing more than a substitute!" Caroline continued right in the man's face.

"Okay, how can you solve this problem without my help. You think God will let you go after making such a mess!?"

Caroline laughed contentedly, she didn't know if Alpha's stupid father had finally intervened. But he didn't come empty-handed, it was clear he had something he could use to get out of here without this stupid man's help.

"Let's wait and see!"

Caroline chose to leave, letting the man and Livina's mother follow her. Now she just needed to head to the Chairman's room and she also had to settle things well.

All the werewolves that passed by were staring at him in disbelief. They must have thought about how Caroline could leave and come back so easily. And it's clear that Caroline doesn't care, her eyes stare at the Alpha, who turns out to have received news of his arrival.

"Finally we meet again.."

Caroline's aura looks so strong, it's not the aura of an Omega. The blue bead kept emitting a bright red glow now and then. Caroline looked at the Lord who was walking towards her, she bowed to greet the leader.

"I'm sorry for making a mess Lord, but I can't accept all the bad things your son did"

Everyone stared in fear at what Caroline had just done. There was no expression of fear in the blue bead and Lord Berdine immediately laughed with satisfaction "You are much braver than the rumors I heard"

Caroline smiled faintly "Then I can apply to get out of this place right!?"

Without further ado, Caroline immediately said the main goal "my mother doesn't seem to want to be left alone"

Everyone looked up noisily at the ice wizard and their eyes immediately focused on Caroline's forehead which showed the same pattern as the woman's.

"Your mother!? Isn't she gone?"

"That's true Lord, but she is the mother of my other self! Isn't that so mother?"

The woman nodded "Introduce me Selena, mother of Caroline Asterexa"

Everyone was immediately shocked, a surname that had long been a legend, a surname that only Lycan leaders had.
