His footsteps were so calm, that she didn't flinch at all, even when all those condescending gazes were on him. She already knew this was going to happen, so why would she feel bad for even displaying a weak attitude that would make him an easy target for them?

She was alone, passing through the crowd of Werewolves. There was no Jeremy with him, not even the Mate was part of the plan. His arrival was so sudden, and the girl also came without telling everyone in the house. Smiling lopsidedly with his gaze directed at Benedict in front of him.

His steps stopped right in front of Livina's father and looked at him with judgment before glancing at Sebastian who was looking at him meaningfully.

"Caroline..."
