Chapter 11 - I Build My Land Palace

Percy POV:

I practiced my ice powers for three months until I got the hang of it. Since I practically knew all about my water powers. I found I could summon sea monsters as I knew their names and it takes no strain on me. I learned how to create objects from ice.

I could bring out water from my body since I'm the seas, so I could create a hurricane or tsunami from thin air. I found that restores any energy lost permanently unlike when I was still a demigod when the gained energy dissipates when I lose contact with water. I also learned that I could make anything I made with ice unbreakable and fire couldn't melt it.

I then went to the island I created, this was the first time I went there I was surprised to find the water surrounding it was very warm compared to the waters around Alaska. I turned the surface of the water into ice, then I imagined a bridge made of unbreakable ice that extended all the way to the island.

I made a huge dome of mist surround the island making it look like a glacier. I then proceeded to walk to the island.

As I stepped on the island I was shocked by the beauty of the island, it looked like a tropical island with its miniature sun, huge coconut trees, pine trees, flowers everywhere, and sand. ( Don't ask me all that appeared with immortals anything can happen).

I made it so that snow started falling. On the island, there was a forest. So I walked into it, there was no life there apart from the trees and shrubbery. I walked to a clearing about 10 miles long and 15 miles wide. I chose here to make my ice palace.

I imagined how I wanted my ice palace to look like, I wanted it to be 1000ft tall, and 500 feet wide, it's pretty extravagant but I wanted to live big, I made it unbreakable and unmeltable. When I opened my eyes there stood my palace a sight to behold, very beautiful to look at. It had the same dimensions I wanted, with windows made of transparent ice but the walls were made of opaque ice, and the doors were 50 feet tall for when I learned how to grow my primordial form.

I walked inside, it was empty, it was just one big space. I imagined the ice giving way to creating rooms, bathrooms, and toilets. I could the ice screeching as it gave way to my demands. I walked around the bedrooms, they were huge, they could probably house fifty people, complete with chairs made of ice with fluffy cushions on them. The bathroom were state of the art complete with hot, cold, and warm showers. The bed frames were made of ice but the mattress was real with sheets, pillows, and all.

All in all, there were around 500 rooms. When I finished exploring, I found a walkway, I followed it, it led me to a throne room, I made a throne for myself with solid ice in the shape of a rectangle for the seat and ice in the shape of a closed cylinder with water flowing inside them and a sheet of ice for the backrest, then I conjured some cushions to complete the look.

The throne room was 100 meters wide and 100 meters tall. I could tell that the throne was growth-type. I made the doors in every room 50 ft tall because I could tell that I'll have godly visitors in the future.

I also built a training room for me alone, and a training room for about 600,000 soldiers complete with armor and celestial bronze and imperial gold swords, spears, and bow and arrows, it seemed my palace has a mind of its own. I chose the largest room as my own. Each room with a large box of ice as a refrigerator full of drinks, nectar, and ambrosia, and a TV connected to Olympus TV.

The living room was very huge complete with chandeliers made of ice with the Phleghethon river water flowing through them or my icy blue fire, it also had cushions and all. It also had a fireplace made of ice (feel the irony?).

When I finished with the palace, I just went to sleep because of the strain my mind went to. For each room, the walls had a self-designing ability so just say what you wanted it to look like and it would happen I made my room all blue including the bed, then I went to sleep.

I woke the next morning feeling refreshed, I went outside and saw that everything was covered in a thick layer of snow, I immediately stopped the snow and went to the seas surrounding my island, I found that they were freezing cold, I immediately warmed them and I made the snow surrounding the seas evaporate so there was sand there, I only left the snow surrounding my palace alone. I went back to my palace, I saw that the area surrounding my palace there was only snow there, then I thought of bringing some part of my mothers here, I then summoned about a quarter of the rivers each, the Styx, Phleghethon, Lethe, Acheron, and Cocytus and put them each in a ditch of their own I created with outlets in each of them allowing them to enter another ditch I made for the Heart, though I'm the primordial of the Heart, the Heart had its own spirit, I viewed the Heart as my little sister, she had some characteristics of each of the other rivers, she had Phleghethon's tan skin and fiery personality, Lethe's milky white hair, Acheron's expressive eyes, Styx's beauty, and Cocytus's pessimistic mind, the most painful thing she had nothing from me ( Percy has been cuckolded!!! 😂😂😂).

She was the most beautiful of the six. I did this so they could stay in my palace with me. I made fences made of ice to surround them only I and someone I bring with me can enter it.

I made a maze of ice covered in shrubbery that led to my palace and fountains and swimming pools. I also added stables for horses around 800,000, I don't know why I did but I had a feeling that I'll need it in the nearest future, and a skating rink, and I also made it that if you were a mythical being and you had bad intentions you couldn't enter my island unless you were far stronger than me.

I looked at my now completed palace, all in two days' work, and I felt glad, maybe life without the Gods wasn't so bad after all, but I couldn't help but feel that my hard-earned peace would soon come to an end.

( On this day all furniture shops around the US reported the loss of all cushions and mattresses in their various franchises but the mystical thing was that a large sum of money was left in each shop more than enough for each piece of furniture taken. It became one of the top ten mysteries in the world!!!!).
