"Who-!?" Aiden instantly frowned and instantly turned around, his eyes glaring daggers at the source of the voice.

His eyes instantly widened upon seeing the creature in front of him.

"A-a demon!?" His hands instinctively moved and a dagger appeared in his hand.

He didn't wait for a reply and charged forward to end the demonic girl's story here and right now.

"Hey, wait!" The demonic girl's face instantly turned grim, she couldn't handle this type of powerful attack from a powerful being.

She kneeled on the ground at the exact moment when the dagger was only 1 meter away from her.

"Hear me out please! I wont hurt you!" She begged him to hear her out, joining both of her hands, bowing her head in respect and fear.

The dagger was slowly moving backwards and Aiden was backing away from the girl.

"Please listen, I am not an evil demon. I was being chased by some monsters and at last, I ended up here. I am not from the evil faction, I swear! Please... listen to me!" She pleaded.

Aiden's frowning face now turned into a confused one, his wariness was gone and he lowered his dagger slowly.

"I'm listening but I won't trust you until I finally confirm it." He told her.

"Fine, let us continue this conversation after we reach at my place, I will cook something for you as thanks for not attacking me and not harming this dragon here." The demonic girl said.

"How can i come to your house? I can't simply believe your words, right?" He asked while raising his brows.

"Don't worry, I swear on my soul, I won't harm you in any way. Just follow me, we are already here anyway." The demonic girl smiled at him. A glow emerged from her body, confirming that she was telling the truth, if not, she will have to face countless calamities.

The demonic girl stood up and started walking towards the outer area of the forest, followed closely by Aiden.

After a few minutes of walking, the two of them arrived at the edge of the forest.

"Here we are." The demonic girl pointed at a wooden hut.

"This is your home? Why is it in such a bad condition?" Aiden couldn't help but frown, looking at the shabby old house.

"Ah! Please don't mind it, I was living alone for a long time and no one came to visit me. My father died 4 years ago and I could only make this shabby house by myself. I didn't have any good relatives, so no one ever thinks of giving me a good life." Her voice felt like a sad song, Aiden felt sad for her, although he didn't know if the girl was telling a lie or not.

"This isn't so bad, you did a great job by yourself, it looks like a normal house to me." Aiden comforted her with a smile.

"Thank you so much, I really appreciate it..." The demonic girl instantly thanked him, a few tears streaming down her cheeks.

"You must be tired after walking all the way here from the forest, why don't we rest first then we can talk more about how you got here." Aiden suggested.

The demonic girl nodded her head in agreement.

They entered the house and Aiden instantly sat down on the mat.

"Please wait here and rest for a while, I will be back shortly after cooking the food.

Aiden nodded at her and started to circulate his cultivation skill, trying to breakthrough the Chaos Disciple 5-star rank.

"I'm sorry for making you wait for so long, I hope you like my cooking skills ." The girl apologised and put the food down on the ground in wooden plates.

"No, it's okay, I am thankful to your for cooking me some food." Aiden really appreciated the girls's kindness, he would have never expected that demons could be this good without meeting this girl.

He had successfully managed to reach the 6 star level and nown the fragrant smell of the food lifted his mood by several folds.

The demonic girl sat on the ground, next to Aiden and started serving the food.

Aiden took a spoon full of the meat soup and felt his taste buds go wild.

"Woah, it's delicious!" He prasied the food and instantly took another spoon full of it.

"I am glad to hear you like it." The demonic girl smiled and started eating from her plate.

"By the way, I forgot to ask your name earlier..." Aiden suddenly remembered that he had yet to know her name and introduce himself.

"Oh, you can call me Ivy." The demonic girl was the first one to introduce herself.

"Oh, I like your name. You can call me Aiden." Aiden introduced himself as well.

Ivy stared at him for a moment, she identified his whole body closely, trying to confirm something and said "A-aren't you the Emperor!?"

Aiden looked confused at first but then suddenly remembered that the blue energy had also called him 'The emperor'.

He guessed that it had some connection with this girl and decided to investigate this matter.

"What is this emperor thing? Why is it that people are calling me the emeperor? Do you know something about it?" He didn't say anything about the blue energy as he felt that not doing so would be good for now.

Ivy removed the cold sweat from her forehead and replied.
