Chapter 25: Back To The Present

Friday, Felix's limousine

Trill's eyes come back into focus as her mind clears of the memories from so long ago. Her fingers gently trace over the circular scar hidden under her shirt. The action doesn't go unnoticed by Felix, but he chooses to ignore it. He watches as the sun strikes her large, bright blue eyes. He's seen her true form, so there was no need to hide it from him.

She is a spiteful woman when it comes to Felix, so she continues hiding. Trill's body is rigid and tense as he looks at her. Felix lays his hand on her thigh and watches her face for a reaction. His lips curl into a twisted smile as he gently squeezes it. Trill looks at him pleadingly and he clenches his teeth, his lip raising in a snarl and his canines exposed.

Felix's grip on her thigh tightens, but she doesn't make a sound, though it will probably bruise.

"You'll be more compliant soon," he states and loosens his grip.
