This scene reminded Bai Lu of the reactions when people eat semi-cooked mushrooms. Like kidney beans, some mushrooms are safe to eat when they are thoroughly cooked. However, if the mushroom leftovers aren't fully reheated before people eat them the next day, they could also become toxic. Every summer, there gonna be people eating half-cooked mushrooms and getting poisoned.
In most cases, those poisoning patients act similar to Prancer and Blaze — they will experience a hallucination of little colourful elves dancing in the air around them. Well, this time, the elf changed to Bai Lu.
Since they both have the mechanism to help them be healthy again, this is not a life and death emergency, just leave them alone and they will be better later.
