"We have a lot of things to catch up on, don't we?" Sierra hinted.
"Of course, I have a lot of things to tell you."
Sierra closed the chunky book she was reading earlier as soon as our meals arrived. The two of us peacefully ate our meal and talked about a few things. For the reason that we are outside, I decided to only tell her about the light happenings of my life first before the heavy dramatic ones.
"I am pleased that you followed your dreams in choosing your degree program," She mentioned during our meal.
"Of course, I always wanted to become a linguistics professor. Following our dreams does truly pay. Look at you now, you have become an esteemed neurosurgeon slash associate professor," I complimented Sierra.
