In her viewpoint, someone else deserved that. She and her friends were in their current situation because of what she had done previously.

Zera wondered if things would have been different if that little rebellion of hers had never happened.

It bugged her a little. But she didn't want to think much about it. There were moments that it couldn't be helped, though.

Zera was certain she was no leader. In fact, she was thinking about how she failed in that department miserably.
