Priestess Online

“What did you do?!” she exclaimed, her breathing becoming unsteady. The reflection of a woman with white long hair braided all the way at the back and had three horns protruding on top of her head mimicked her expression. The water rippled a little but the image staring at her remained the same. Her complexion almost blinded her with the vast whiteness that stretched around her. Turning her head from left to right, she found nothing and no one to help her understand what happened. “What did you do?!” she bellowed. [Welcome Priestess! Jaspreth, Astherielle, and Beatrix were trying to catch their breaths. It was an unsteady hum of in and out, and the three friends had just evaded their pursuers.

They were barely catching their breaths when they heard a weird sound. At first, the three friends looked at each oddly. They were trying to figure out where it was coming from or what it was.

"What was that?" Beatrix asked, her ears straining to hear more. Jaspreth listened, trying to decipher what it was.

Checking the map, he found Zera and Nayowmi moving.

"Should we run back to them?" Astherielle asked. She was staring at her translucent screen as well.

"I think so," Jaspreth replied. He immediately sprang to his feet, a finger on his lips. He peered o see if it was safe for them to come out.

"Do you think they're safe?" Beatrix inquired.

"Let's hope," Jaspreth replied. "We should head to them in case we're wrong."
