Jasmine and Sam sat opposite Aisyah in a cafe not far from the clinic where Aisyah had her pregnancy checked.
Aisyah and Sam stared at each other in silence, making Jasmine feel like someone who is not needed who shouldn't be there.
"You are pregnant because of Bara? That's why you left? But why? If it's his child, you have to tell Bara about your pregnancy!"
Aisyah smiled sarcastically, she stared blankly at Sam.
"This is none of your business!"
Again, they could only stare at each other in silence. There was nothing Jasmine could do, she was just an outsider, so she just sat quietly beside Sam.
Sam sipped the coffee in front of him and sighed heavily. His mind was messed up right now.
"So you want to raise him alone? Are you sure? Aisyah, don't be rash, think about your future!"
"I'm sure. I will raise this child alone!" Aisyah said without hesitation.
"You know how hard it is to live without a father? Hum? Do you know how it feels? If not, I will tell you how we lived without a father figure!"
Jasmine was astonished to see Sam so emotional. The man stared intently at Aisyah.
"I can be both mother and father to my child!"
"Aisyah, don't be ridiculous! You think it's the same?" snapped Sam.
"Maybe he'll get hurt, but there's me. I'll do whatever it takes to treat her. I'll make her as happy as I can!" Aisyah's eyes reddened, her body trembled, she spoke word by word with great emphasis.
She may feel that the choice is the best for them.
Jasmine could feel what Aisyah felt. She can do anything for her son.
"Aisyah, listen to me, the child needs complete love from both parents. He needs a father figure to be his protector, role model, supporter. Some things can only be obtained from a father figure. Even though he has a great mother like you, he still needs a father!"
Aisyah was silent. Likewise with Jasmine. Jasmine knows that Sam, as well as his younger siblings, are orphans, of course, Sam knows better what it's like to grow up without a father figure than anyone else.
"Letting the child live without a father figure will only hurt him. Are you sure you can heal that wound?"
Aisyah looked down, tears began to flow from her sad eyes. She looks messed up.
"You right, he needs a father figure, but I'm not sure his father will accept this child ... in the end, I will continue to raise this child alone. So please, keep this a secret from Bara. And I beg you, don't see me again!"
Sam shook his head weakly. This wasn't what he expected. Why is it so difficult to convince Aisyah?
"You want your child to suffer from growing up without a father?!" Sam looks very angry.
"What? What can I do? I certainly want this child to be happy. But, his father won't accept this child. He might force me to abort this!" Aisyah began to sob softly. She didn't know how to explain it to Sam, she just wanted to live in peace with her son.
"I will talk to him, I will ask him to marry you! He must take responsibility!"
"Are you crazy? What if he refuses? I'll be even more devastated!" snapped Aisyah.
"If he doesn't want to marry you, I will marry you! I will not let the child suffer!"
Oh, God.
Sam.
Jasmine's knees felt weak just like jelly. She turned her head towards Sam and stared at the man beside her in silence.
How about her?
How could Sam say that when she was right beside the man?
Jasmine's breath hitched, and right in her chest, there was a pain that she couldn't explain. Who would Sam marry? What for?

The kitchen was already tidy when Bara came in, they had also changed the table.
"Are you hungry? Do you want me to make ramen? Chef Yuni is on leave today, her future husband is not feeling well, so, I tell her to take care of it. Poor!" Joe lie. He had laid off all the workers today. Chefs, helpers, and even gardeners. They were just on guard, who knows Bara's emotions haven't subsided yet.
Bara stepped past Joe. He sat quietly waiting for Joe who immediately took some instant ramen from the drawer, and started boiling water.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you! But, you are an asshole!"
Joe immediately laughed so hard.
"After all, the chocolate temptation is hard to resist!"
"You bastard!" cursed Bara.
"Alright bro, just relax," said Joe as he flipped through the instant ramen in his hand.
"Doesn't it hurt?"
"I'm a man, Bro! I just don't feel like this kind of wound. Your punches are weak!" Joe boasts.
Bara looked cynically at the youngest, then slowly walked over to his brother.
'ARGH' Joe screamed when Bara touched his bruised cheek with his index finger.
'And he said that wounds don't feel like that? Braggart!'
"This hurts!" snapped Joe.
Now it was Bara's turn to laugh loudly.
Bara sat back on the chair and watched Joe start to cook while nagging.
"What extra? Meat? Sausage? Eggs?" asked Joe curtly.
"Just eggs, give me three!"
"Three eggs? Okay!"
Although not as good as Sam, Joe is quite good at cooking. Although sometimes the taste is different but still delicious.
"Why is it quiet? Where are the others?"
"Sam and Jasmine go to Lombok!"
Lombok?
"Jasmine cried because she felt guilty, so they went there to get your chocolate for the one we ate!"
Gosh, that girl. Bara propped his chin staring at the fruit basket on the table. Bara knows that Jasmine did not take part in the theft of her treasure. The real culprit was right in front of him.
Luckily Joe was his favorite little brother, otherwise, I don't know what the man would look like when he opened his eyes.
"Bro," called Joe.
"What?"
"What do you like about Aisyah? She's already left you, she's even taken advantage of your kindness!"
Just smiled faintly. He knew well that the girl was not taking advantage of him. Aisyah is not that type of person. Regarding chocolate, Bara believes Aisyah has her reasons. Also, Bara must have made a big mistake until Aisyah left.
"You don't have to be so stupid! Why do men talk so much!" Bara snapped.
Joe snorted at Bara in annoyance, with emotion he tore off the instant ramen wrapper in his hand.
"The one who is sincere when he cooks! Who told Chef Yuni to leave!" Bara quipped.
Joe took a deep breath. He regrets having dismissed Chef Yuni. After all, Bara's emotions have subsided.
