This Era Is So F*cked Up!

Today, I went for a hunt again. Right now, I'm standing in front of a huge animal that looks like a boar as its currently preparing to charge at me. It has three big horns on the top of its head with two small horns beside its ears, with some stripes around its body like tiger and with rows of sharp teeth in its mouth. An animal that I've hunting for a long time now, it towers over two meters and three meters in length.

The ground shakes a bit as it finally charge at me. I gripped my spear tightly as I waited for the right moment for the kill.

Now! Terra Break!

I stabbed my spear on the ground and performed a horizontal slash, resulting in a huge explosion sending debris everywhere towards the direction of the Pike Boar.

Roar ~

The Pike Boar roared weakly with its body covered in its own blood before falling on the ground.

I sat there eating a meat on a stick from the boar. I grilled the entire boar over the fire after giving it a good clean, from taking out its intestines and skinning the boar and cleaned it with Water Ball.

I'm currently at one of my safe spots, in a cliff where I can get good view around me. In the north, is a wide plains, the west have a prairie where most dinosaurs and animals gather, east is a mountainous region while the south have Swamp Lands.

Now here I am standing at cliff getting this amazing view while having a great meal. The meat of this prehistoric animals are really great, you don't need to even use spices to make it tasty.

Then I suddenly noticed something in the north. It was a huge dust cloud heading towards the west. It must be a herd migration or they are being chased by a predator but it seems it's the former instead. But just to make sure I activated < Eagle Eyes > it's a skill I bought just this morning, it let's me see into a far more distance. Activating it, it seems the herd is made of Gallimimus, its a dinosaur that mimic how a modern flightless birds moves, that's the reason why they're called chicken mimic in the modern day. The Gallimimus in this Era are 2 times bigger than what was known and they're speed can reach up to 70Mph.

But then he discovered something that really shook him hard.

"Are those….?"

Edward didn't finish what he was about to say and gulped down the entire meat that was on his hand earlier before going down the cliff by running at cliff the wall downwards. Then he made a sudden leap and landed at a tree branch before jumping to another branch again like a ninja as he headed towards north at the direction of the group of Gallimimus.

Then Edward came into a halt at a tree branch. In front of him is the great plains, there are some herbivore dinosaurs like triceratops moving to and fro. He stood there for a few moments scanning around for predators that's probably lurking around. Don't be mistaken that the only predator around is the T-Rex, there's also a group of wolves four times bigger than the norm, called Fanged Wolves with fangs like a saber-tooth tiger, Horned Bear, a huge bear with a height of 3 meters and length of 5 meters, that has a horn an its forehead and there's also the Ancient Lion, its big ass dude with a height of over 3 meters and length of over 3 meters. This group lives in groups of 3 - 5 sometimes even reaching 8-10. Yes, this is still Earth but it's probably an unrecorded era that wasn't recorded in history.

Seeing that there are no predators around, he jumped down 20 meters from the tree branch, leaving a deep footprint on the ground. Making a quick dash towards the group of Gallimimus, Edward would even jump on top of the dinosaurs, he was running at the speed 37Mph.

Stopping just 1 kilometer from the group, he flatly laid on the ground as he activated < Eagle Eyes > again.

"Damn! It's Humans! So I wasn't imagining it all along" Edward almost screamed in shock when he saw these humans riding on the back of the Gallimimus and all of them are armed to teeth holding weapons made of bones even rocks as they wore clothes made of out the pelt of their preys, like Fanged Wolves and Horned Bears, there's even an Ancient Lion.

What's more these humans look the same as modern humans unlike those homosapiens that looks like a crossbreed between a human and an ape.

"*Gulp*" Edward made gulping sounds when he saw the person leading the herd. It was a very beautiful woman with red hair, she had a long scar on her face, that starts from the top of her right eye stopping just at her chin and she has a busty body, she had a huge broadsword on her back, that was probably made from the fangs or claws of some kind of a predator. But Edward was only looking at a certain direction, his eyes were glued to those bouncing watermelons as it moves up and down because of the motion while his crotch grew rock hard looking at it.

Sadly, this amazing sight didn't last long as they passed by him. Edward made a quick headcount, he managed to count up to 500 people or maybe more.

"It looks they are not going of a hunt but more like going to war, I wonder where they came from though. I've already combed every nook and cranny of the current explored but i hadn't seen any signs of humans living here. So they probably came from fogged area" Edward thought as he followed them out of curiosity, of course he kept a safe distance between so as not to alert them.

"Huff* Huff* Finally. They. Stopped *Glug* Glug* Glug* On of these days, I'll also get me a Dino mount, huu. that was tiring" Edward was so tired that he spoke between breaths as he hurriedly took out a jar from his Inventory and drank a lot of water before taking some rest.

Edward then heard some people talking but he can't hear them quite clearly because he was a kilometer away from them, facing their rear. So he crawled there carefully and when he finally got a good view, he was startled for a brief moment from what he saw. There was another group of people but this one have larger numbers than the first one and they also dressed the same and ride the same mount and...both groups have weapons drawn as they faced each other and had a distance of over a 100 meters between both groups.

As Edward was looking at them, he then heard the woman yelling at the man, that looks like the leader of the other group.

"Bastard Leon! What is the meaning of your actions? Your people have coming to our hunting grounds and stealing our prey! Are you trying to start a tribal war!?" yelled the busty woman while pointing her broadsword towards the man.

"Is this how you greet a fellow tribal chief Amanda?" the man wasn't perturbed by her insult and instead ridiculed her with a huge grin plastered on his face.

"Haaa, a person like you doesn't deserve my respect, someone who killed his own father just because you wanted to be the chief instead of him!" this time the woman sneered and it looks what she just said really rubbed a salt on him as his face is twitching.

"Why you-"

But Edward wasn't particularly interested about what they are arguing about. Instead he got annoyed by something they said as the muscles on his face are twitching like crazy.

"Wha-what's wrong with this people!? Shouldn't they have names like Jarakal, Makarel, Nuka Nuka, Mika Mika, Tukaka or Anika or something along those lines!? Bu-but they have English names instead!...This era is so f*cked up…" Edward was practically screaming on his mind right now that he even had the urge to charge at them and give them both a good scolding.

While Edward is having this ridiculous thoughts, the group just suddenly started killing each other, with spears and arrows flying everywhere and while of sword and spear wielding warriors charge at each other as their weapons would collide at each other even creating some sparks. It was chaos everywhere with people dying every second.

"Did she just used magic?" Edward jaws dropped when he saw the woman named Amanda threw a Fireball at the man named Leon and that Leon guy deflected it by using a wall made of earth.

"Holy Shit, this people really knows magic but it seems that it's only the two of them who knows how to use it though." Edward was actually sitting atop of a boulder this time as he just watch on as both groups battled it out and the only missing thing now is probably a large popcorn on his hand.

As the battle raged on, the group of Amanda is slowly getting pushed back by the other side, even though her group fought valiantly without a fear of death but they still lost in numbers.

"Oh man, it seems she's in huge trouble. Hmmm. I'm gonna save her if they really can't handle it anymore. After all, she's the only woman I've seen until now"
