"Br-brother," she stammered, her response mirroring his hostile expression towards her.

But his glare was interrupted by the ringing of his phone. He quickly answered it, and from his expression, it seemed like an important call. He glanced at her before turning to Victor.
"I will talk to you later, Rina, and you will explain everything to me," he said hastily before getting into his car and driving off.
Left alone with Victor, she couldn't help but notice the wide smile that stretched across his face as he looked at her again.
This made her feel self-conscious, and she instinctively glanced down at her outfit. Only then did she realize that she was still dressed in her pajamas, completely unprepared for his early arrival.
She had forgotten to tell him that when she said 8:00 am, she was referring to Filipino time, which typically meant that's when they would start getting ready.
