I felt the gentle warmth of the sun as soon as I opened my eyes.
'I didn't sleep well last night because of my deep thoughts about the possibility of being pregnant, so I'm still feeling sleepy as I wake up."
Upon waking, I experienced a momentary dizziness, so I instinctively held my forehead and briefly closed my eyes to alleviate it.
Weakness wasn't a new sensation for me...
And if my suspicion of my pregnancy was true, I would have to get used to this every morning.
When I stepped my feet on the floor, I felt the loss of strength in my legs due to my fall on the floor.
Unsteady from the impact, I immediately focused my hands on the floor and waited patiently for my strength to return.
Feeling that my legs had regained enough strength, I quickly stood up to head to the bathroom to take a shower and prepare to go to Denise's clinic.
When I sensed my legs regaining enough strength, I stood up and headed to the bathroom to prepare for my visit to Denise's clinic.
While preparing breakfast, I couldn't help but feel anxious.
I was uncertain about how to react to my current situation.
What if I was pregnant? How would Erwin react, especially since he had recently acquired the Reymundo Corporation? Would he even need me anymore?
Another reason I wasn't ready yet was our situation with Erwin.
Despite the uncertainty, there was a part of me that was happy because my love for him was flourishing.
If Erwin didn't accept us, it would be heartbreaking for our child, especially if he chose Helena over us.

Currently, I'm driving to Denise's clinic.
It took me almost an hour to reach her clinic.
From the outside, I could already see her Ford Ranger car parked, indicating that she was already at the clinic.
Her OB-GYN clinic was simple and smaller than other clinics in town.
However, it was strategically located near popular commercial buildings, ensuring a steady stream of customers.
Denise had connections, thanks to her renowned doctor's parents. They had their hospital, but she preferred running her clinic.
Her clinic often filled up quickly because she was an excellent OB-GYN, so we saw each other frequently.
As I entered, her secretary, Jenna, greeted me.
She was visibly perspiring as if she had rushed to welcome me.
"Ma'am Rina, it's good to see you today! Ma'am Denise just arrived not long ago and asked me to wait for you here. Please come in!"
You don't need to call me 'Ma'am'...as we're practically the same age," I replied.
She blushed and smiled.
"Please have a seat."
"Ma'am, what would you like? Do you want some water?" Jenna offered.
"No, I'm okay. You can leave me here..you might have other things to attend to," I replied.
"Sure, Ma'am. We don't have any clients right now..they're scheduled for later," Jenna said.
"By the way, Ma'am, do you have any plans this morning with Denise? Did you come here directly?" she asked.
"Nope, Denise and I aren't going anywhere. I'm her client this morning," I replied.
"Are you pregnant?" she unconsciously asked, a bit surprised.
I winced at her question but chose not to answer.
"I'm still not sure," I said.
Seeing my discomfort, she quickly apologized.
"I'm so sorry, Ma'am. I hope I didn't offend you. Don't worry; I won't tell anyone. You're our client."
"It's okay," I replied.
Silence followed.
Jenna noticed I was quiet and excused herself to prepare in case any clients arrived.
Before leaving, I asked her if Denise had any appointments for the morning, to which she replied that she didn't.
Denise soon entered the clinic, and her wide smile was the first thing I noticed.
Her infectious grin made me smile too.
"Bitchhhh, my god, I missed you!" We hugged each other tightly.
"You've gained some weight but still very beautiful; maybe you're really pregnant!" she exclaimed.
"Oh, Denise, you're voice is still as loud as ever," I joked, covering my ears.
"I missed you so much, that's why my voice is loud," it replied, giving me a playful slap.
"Don't worry, you're still beautiful even though you can be irritating sometimes, I've managed to tolerate you ," I jokingly said, followed by my laughter.
She just grinned at my comment and joined in the laughter.
"I've known I'm beautiful for a long time now. By the way, let's not indulge in pleasantries here. I'm going to check if you're really pregnant, as you kept me awake all night thinking about it," it said with a jest.
"Are you pregnant too, and even more excited than I am?" I teased her with a chuckle.
"Come on, let's finish this quickly so we can have some time to chat afterward," she said with a grin.

Upon entering her office, Denise handed me three pregnancy test kits and explained what I needed to do.
After following Denise's instructions, I went to the bathroom then anxiously waited for the results.
My nerves were on edge, but there was an underlying excitement, hoping my suspicion was correct yet fearing disappointment.
After a few minutes, I counted to ten before looking at the results of the three pregnancy tests.
"7, 8, 9"
9 and 1/2'
9 and 3/4'
and 10," I counted, then slowly glancing at the first kit.
"Two lines." Those were the two lines on the pregnancy test.
Two lines? So it's true. I'm indeed pregnant!!!.
I said to myself as I grabbed the other two kits to confirm if they showed the same result.
Just like the first one, the other two kits also displayed two red lines.
My anxiety doubled, accompanied by a peculiar feeling welling up in my chest, causing tears to stream down my cheeks.
"Rina, how's it going? What's the result??? Tell me quickly!" Denise asked excitedly.
I didn't answer immediately, still overwhelmed.
"Rina, hey Rina, what's the result?!" She repeated.
My earlier tears turned into sobs as Denise rushed in.
"Wait, Rina, what's wrong? Why are you crying? You're pregnant! Be happy! Your husband isn't sterile after all," she joked then patted my shoulder and hugged me.
"Anyway, I need to examine you to determine the status of your pregnancy. Stay calm, okay?" Denise said reassuringly, embracing me and trying to soothe me.
After calming down with Denise's support, she proceeded to examine my pregnancy.
After applying some gel to my belly, she used a device to display the contents of my womb on a nearby monitor.
Denise and I exchanged glances as we saw the yet-to-be-formed fetus on the screen. We both smiled when we heard its heartbeat, a sound I wanted to listen to over and over again.
For the first time since Erwin and I got together, I experienced overwhelming happiness that filled my heart to the brim.
A feeling I wouldn't trade for anything....
Although the gender of the fetus wasn't clear yet, being one and a half months into the pregnancy confirmed that I was indeed pregnant.
