Chapter 93 : Lost
*Matthew's POV*
I tried to push by everyone around me as I stormed toward Christiana.
"Where is she?!" I shouted, not caring who heard. "What do you know?!"
Christiana continued to laugh as Lynn and Arielle appeared by my side. I was glad that they didn’t try to hold me back like the officers in front of me. The terror inside of me wasn't going away and deep down, I knew something was wrong.
As soon as Trinity hadn't shown up, I knew something was wrong, but I had tried to justify it to myself. The panic inside of me made me lunge toward Christiana again, but the officers kept me firmly in place.
I saw a lost looking Will standing behind her bench as he looked on, not knowing what to think of the situation.
However, my outburst was enough to grab the attention of the judge. I heard the gavel banging again, and it was the only thing loud enough to cut through my panicked haze as I turned to look at him.
"What is this? What's going on in my courtroom?" the judge asked.
