"Hmm... this seems interesting." a boy said as he clicked on a link which said "Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Rom Hack"

The Pokemon game is a family friendly game, but the rom hack was rated 18+. He browserd through the gameplay photos and he was interested in playing it.

Usually some people change the Rom files of games to add elements or change the story. This let's you play an entirely new game which is also similar to the game you know.

They are fun to play. So Tom, who clicked on the link and downloaded the game, was ready to play it.

Just as he was about start the game, his elbow hit the coffee mug on the table and it spilt coffee over the power socket.

This caused a short circuit and ended up electrocuting Tom. Now, normally a fuse would trip if a short circuit happened, but he was poor and lived in an old apartment.

So, he was electrocuted untill he died. He lost consciousness, but he again gained consciousness.

He couldn't feel his hands and legs, but he could feel his face. He opened his eyes when he heard a woman crying.

It was bright, so he slowly opened his eyes and found a woman with brown hair and a beautiful face.

She was crying as she held him in her arms. She pressed his body against her chest as she cried and it hurt Tom.

He wanted her to stop doing that, but all that came out from his mouth were cries of a baby.

He was shocked. Even the woman who was crying till then, stopped crying and looked at him with shock.

Her shocked face immediately turned into a happy one and she smiled, with tears flowing from her eyes.

While Tom was having a hard time processing what happened to him, his body was being checked.

After hours of mental shock, he calmed down and said to himself 'So, I died and was born in the world of Pokemon. Apparently the owner of this body was supposed to be dead and he did die after birth. That's why his mother, or my mother, was crying. I ended up possessing his dead body.'

Tom could tell that he was in the world of Pokemon as he saw the Pokemon Chansey helping out the nurses in the hospital.

'And my mom looks a lot like professor Juniper, who is supposed to be the mom of the trainer in the Rom hack.' he thought whole remembering his mom's face.

Now, he wouldn't even think of relating his life with the game if he didn't have a screen floating in front of him.

It was similar to the interface trainers have while playing the game.

It had the Trainers card, Bag, Pokemon, Pokedex and Pokemon refresh.

The Pokemon Refresh was a feature in the game where the player can pet the Pokemon and feed them some beans to make them more friendly towards the player. It was a feature added for kids.

The weird thing was that he had the option of the bag and Pokedex, even though he didn't have one.

It took him a whole day to organize his thoughts and come to the decision "Fine, I will be a Pokemon trainer then. It doesn't sound tough with the help of a system."

It took him this much time, as he couldn't stay awake for long and immediately fell asleep after 10 minutes.

He opened his Trainer Card to look at his details and surprisingly, it even had his stats.

The stats displayed were:

Strength : 5

Speed : 5

Stamina : 5

Vitality : 5

Luck : 20

There wasn't much information about them for h to know more about them, but he felt it wasn't necessary for him to have high stats because he wasn't going to hold Pikachu and get electrocuted like Ash.

There were other details like:-

Trainer ID no : ----

Pokedex : 0

Money : 0

Battle Points : 0

He was named Jack by his parents and he decided to go with it, because using the name Tom would only complicate things for him.

He was in the hospital for a week as multiple tests were done to make sure he was healthy.

After he returned to his home and he looked at the size of it, he thought "Wow, we are rich."

*Jack's POV*

I was taken to my room and as I lived in the mansion for a week, I understood and realised many things.

First, being rich is awesome. I had sexy maids everywhere who are completely loyal to our family, everything I wanted and a perfectly luxurious life.

Second, except me and the butler, there is no male in the house.

Technically, my father was supposed to be in the house, but he never bothered to show his face, even when I was born. My dad, who is a complete workaholic, sent his butler to stay by my mom's side when I was born.

So, they both are together only for me.

And lastly, Unova region was a good enough place to start.

That was the weird part thought, even though it was based on Alola region of Ultra Sun and Moon, I was in Unova.

I still went on with it. With the business strategy of my parents, I could become a Pokemon champion easily.

Since my mom was a Pokemon professor, she researched with many Pokemons and she had many Pokemons.

I could easily get any Pokemon of the Unova region and my dad owned a company that produced products like portions, heals and pokeballs for trainers.

He used the data mom found to produce better ones and he made billions.

And just like that three years passed. Jack didn't do anything and just stayed in the mansion, enjoying the life of rich people.

That's when he realised 'Life has become too boring.' as he didn't have any friends.

Since he rarely left his house, he didn't have any friends and his mom was quite busy in the lab. So, she didn't know that he didn't have any friends, as she only returned home late at night.

He would only communicate with the maids of the house and they are the only people who stay the most with him.

Jack was sitting on his bed and he just finished reading a magazine about the Pokemon champion, the Elite four and the 8 gym leaders.

He got up and walked towards the mirror in his room and looked at his reflection. He had brown hair and blue eyes. (Imagine the kid version of the playable trainer of Unova region)

As he was looking at the reflection, he heard someone knock on the door. He then heard a voice he recognised "Master Jack, are you busy?"

She was Aria, the maid that took care of Jack since birth and they were very close.

She had blonde hair, with two drill-like curls and was in a maid outfit.

"No, come in" Jack replied and she opened the door.

Jack said "Didn't I ask you to call me just Jack."

Even though he said that, he liked being called master by her and she also knew this. So, she continued calling him master.

When the door completely opened, Jack was surprised to see she wasn't alone. Standing behind her legs, was a small girl who looked like she was the same age as Jack, with messy clothes.

She had purple hair and purple eyes. Before Jack got to even ask who she was, Aria said "I found her near the mansion and since you were feeling lonely, I thought it would be better if I trained her to be your personal maid."

Jack walked up to her and looked at her, who was trembling and was scared. He smiled at her and asked "What's your name?"

She didn't reply for a while, until she said "It's Courtney." in a weak voice.

"I am Jack" he said with a smile as he stretched out his hand for a handshake when he heard her stomach grumbling.

She immediately moved and completely hid behind Aria. Jack laughed and said to Aria "Get her something to eat and get her all ready."

Aria nodded and left the room with Courtney. Jack went back to his bed and opened the magazine again. He looked at all the gym leaders and said "They really decreased the size of the trainers to make it more child friendly." as he looked at the electric type gym leader, Elesea (Elsea's mom)

After an hour, Courtney was back in her maid outfit. Jack looked at her and said "It really looks good on you.

Come sit here. You can start training as a maid from tomorrow." and gestured her to sit on a chair in front of him.

She entered the room, with her head down and her face red.

Jack looked at her and asked "Are you uncomfortable speaking to me?" and she immediately lifted her head and shook her hands saying "No master Jack, it's just that... its all new for me." Jack smiled at her reply and they both spoke for hours.

Jack was already a grownup in his previous life, but loneliness is dangerous.

He didn't have anyone to talk to. His mom only came back at nights, his maids only spoke when he asked them something and he doesn't even know if his dad exists.

So, when he met Courtney, he opened up to her and he finally found someone to talk to.

Time went by and it was already dark outside. In Jack's room, as they were talking, Courtney immediately stopped and looked down at the floor.

She asked "Master Jack, can you tell me why you agreed to make me your personal maid?"

She wanted to know if he did that just out of pity. Jack thought for a while and said "When I first saw you, you were cute and I couldn't imagine you sad."

Courtney had her eyes open wide in shock as she looked at Jack, which slowly teared up and she said with a bright smile "Thank you"

That smile and her convinced Jack 'This is definitely not just a game. Everyone is real and alive.'

He patted her head to calm her down, which only caused her to jump at him and cry while hugging him.

He slowly patted her back and let her calm down. As she was done crying, Jack heard the sound of his mom's car.

Jack said to Courtney "Great, my mom is here. Let me introduce you to her."

Courtney wiped her face and walked down with Jack, smiling brightly.

Juniper had a hectic day and was tired. As she entered the house, Jack said to her "Mom, I want you to meet Courtney. She will be my personal maid from now."

He then went on to explain what happened and she said in an irritated tone "Jack, we can't trust everyone. What if she is someone who has some bad intentions towards you?"

She was just directing her pent up stress on Courtney. Jack wanted to say something, but he heard Courtney say "Master Jack feels lonely in the house, without anyone to talk to. You are not a good mother of you don't even know this."

That statement managed to shock everyone. She just spoke back to the owner of the house. Even though she knew she could become homeless if Juniper got angry, she still stood up for Jack.

Juniper just looked at her son and apologised to him for neglecting him and as she left the hall, she looked at Courtney and said "Take good care of him" and left.

The next day, Juniper got Jack a Zorua, who hatched from an egg in the laboratory.

As his Pokemon was registered by his system, he saw its moves and it had 'Tackle' and 'Growl'

Jack immediately went to the nearby wilderness to fight with Pokemon to level up his Zorua.
