Alex's Situation - I

'Hey, Xavier, what took you so long to open the door?' asked Alex.

'I'm sorry, Alex. I was just checking my status and deciding where to allocate my points,' replied Xavier. Then he continued by asking, 'So, how was your time inside the Pokémon world?'

"Don't ask, man! At first, it was amazing seeing a new world appear in front of my eyes, but the nightmare began when I chose a profession and the mission was issued!" said Alex in a distraught tone.

'What profession did you choose?' asked Xavier, curious to know what his friend had decided.

'Pokemon Trainer!' Alex said, and he could be seen regretting his decision.

To which Xavier reacted with surprise, "What!? A Pokémon Trainer!! But earlier in school, you said that you wanted to be a Pokémon research assistant!"

"And when Principal Adams told us about the difficulty of professions, you changed your decision to become a Pokémon breeder."

"Yes, I thought that becoming a Pokémon Breeder would be the best choice as it would be less challenging." After a pause, Alex continued, "But I changed my mind after we went through that incident. I can't sleep at night. I always hear the cries of the students who lost their lives."

"I don't want to be like them, who didn't even have a chance to fight back. In order to become stronger quickly, I had to choose Pokémon Trainer as the rewards were more promising compared to other professions."

"But I regret it now. I made a decision based on emotions, and now I am frustrated about what to do next!!" Alex said, and he could be seen on the verge of tears if this conversation continued.

"What happened? Tell me clearly," asked Xavier with concern.

Alex then continued telling about the time after he was given a random Pokémon by the tower. He felt a sudden pain, and when he opened his eyes, he found himself inside a huge forest. He came to know that this was the Viridian Forest.

He was then asked to choose a profession and chose Pokémon Trainer without hesitation.

Then, he was assigned a mission with three tasks:

1. Catch a Weedle.

2. Defeat all the NPCs inside the forest.

3. Raise one of your Pokémon to level 10.

At first, he thought that he would easily complete the 1st and 3rd tasks, and only the 2nd task would be difficult and take time. So he decided to catch a Weedle first, and luckily, he found it after walking a few minutes.

He then called out his Pokémon, Geodude, to fight and was successful in defeating it. However, when he was about to catch it, a Kakuna suddenly attacked them and poisoned Geodude.

He quickly called back Geodude and ran from there. He ran for around 30 minutes, but he could not find a way to get out of this forest.

As he ran through the forest, anxiety and desperation gripped Alex's heart, knowing that Geodude's health was deteriorating with each passing minute.

Seeking a way out, he stumbled upon an NPC, hoping for some guidance. However, to his dismay, the NPC offered no answers but instead challenged him to a battle.

Unwilling to engage in a fight at that moment, Alex turned away, determined to find another source of help.

But just as he started to walk away, a resounding voice echoed in his mind, informing him that Geodude had fainted due to poisoning. He was charged with 1000 pokecoins as a penalty. In an instant, he was teleported back to the Pokemon Center, standing before Nurse Joy.

Alex felt a mix of relief and frustration. While he was grateful that Geodude was being treated, he couldn't help but feel burdened by the unexpected expense. Despite his efforts to escape the forest, he was still trapped and far from completing his mission's tasks.
