Chapter 54

The rest of the week past by with nothing really noteworthy. The Beldum egg was finally beginning to show a change and shook even more rigorously than before while his new egg just sat unmoving the whole time. Jax knew that dragon eggs took an exceptionally long time to hatch but he couldn't wait forever, either. As Friday soon approached, Jax was starting to feel excited. 'Finally, System will be finished with whatever Protocol 00 is. I kind of miss that robotic voice.'

Since neither of the eggs hatched yet and Jax didn't really have any pokemon he wanted to learn about in further detail, he just completely ditched school and started training at the Yulti Mountain. Spending the previous four days battling Geodudes, Gravelers, Onixes, and Rhyhorns, Jax's sub-space was beginning to look a little fuller. He caught multiple of each species still planning on putting his breeding plan to action, but he was in a slump since the system had yet to come online again.

"Vioarr, use Rock Smash! Just punch the rock! That's how you learn new moves!"

The duo were currently back on Yulti Mountains trying to teach Vioarr a new move. Aside from buying expensive TMs, if a trainer knew how, they could teach the pokemon a new move by themselves. This was a lot harder than just buying a technical machine and uploading it into the Pokeball with the pokemon inside; however, since it took massive amount of talent from both trainer and pokemon and it wasn't known if they were just wasting their time or not. Imagine spending hours on end to teach a pokemon a new move just to find out that the pokemon had no talent for it. All those wasted hours could have been solved with lots and lots of money!

Although well off, Jax didn't want to spend money on a TM he could just teach Vioarr himself. Plus, he already spent a lot of money the other day buying a Thunderbolt TM for the guy. He also found the Rock Smash TM but between his two options, it was a no brainer to choose to Thunderbolt one. I mean, how was he going to train Vioarr to learn the move naturally? Have lightning continuously strike him?

"Ugh, let's call it a day! My arm is starting to hurt from punching rocks all day. Nidorina said she likes my soft hide, so I don't want to damage it."

"Stupid! A female loves battle scars! It adds a sense of danger to the guy!"

"Mhm! Why don't I add a scar to your face and see how little Ally likes you after that!" As the two were joking around, Jax heard a weird but oddly familiar chime in his ears.

"Ding! System has completed Protocol 00. Initializing…Initializing…Initialization complete. Activating Protocol 00! Please standby!"

"What!? The system is back!? Yes! Finally! Hey, what took you so long!? And what's this Protocol 00 you keep going on about!?" While Jax was talking to the air, a blinding light flashed before his eyes. Then, something appeared out of thin air pushing Jax onto the ground!

"Ugh, what just happened? I think something's on me…" Trying his hardest to get up, Jax found that he was pinned to the ground by something rather heavy. Flailing about, Jax called for Vioarr to come get whatever was on him off. As Vioarr ran over, he skidded to a stop and just stared with his mouth hung open while stammering incomprehensible words.

"N-n-nak...g-g-gir...w-w-wh…"

"Huh? What are you saying, stupid? Hey, c'mon! Help me get up!" Still flailing around, Jax didn't notice that whatever was on him was beginning to raise itself up. Feeling the weight shift around, Jax stopped moving around and looked up to see what had landed on top of him. Only, the sight left him completely awestruck.

"N-n-nak...g-g-gir...w-w-wh…"

Jax was stammering in the same way that Vioarr was just a second ago. From out of nowhere, it seemed like…a naked girl had fallen on top of him! Covering his eyes with his hands, Jax asked the only question reasonable in this situation, "W-who are you!? W-why are you on t-top of me!? And what are you n-n-naked!?"

Looking down at the boy, the little girl found his reactions funny and then looked at herself. Not finding anything wrong, she hopped off the stammering boy and dusted herself off before grabbing some leaves nearby to make some impromptu clothes. Finally covered against the natural elements, the girl walked back towards the boy before poking him in the cheeks. Smiling, she finally opened her mouth.

"Ding! System greets Host! Host promised to feed System yummy food. System is hungry, now!"

Hearing the familiar robotic voice, Jax finally moved his hands and turned to look as where the voice was coming from. To the side was the same girl who was just on top of him seconds ago but with green leaves covering her from shoulders to knees. Looking closely at the girl, Jax noted that she didn't look half bad! With metallic grey hair reaching just below the shoulders, eyes that were a combination of gunmetal grey and fiery orange, the girl looked like a petite forest fairy with her green dress.

"Were you the one who was just talking? System? Host? Food? What are you talking about?"

"Ding! Host seems confused by situation! System will provide explanation! Host granted System permission to activate Protocol 00. As per Protocol 00 guidelines, Host will now be given information about System!" After saying so, the little girl reached over and tapped Jax on the head. When her finger made contact with his forehead, a rush of information flew into his head causing Jax to spasm from the sudden headache that assaulted him.

Seeing his brother in pain after the little girl touched him, Vioarr perceived her as an enemy and as such, prepared for battle. Casting the standard Protect and Endure, he also prepared the newly learned Thunderbolt! Once the skill was finished charging, he released it and prepared a follow-up attack with Horn Drill! Right as the Thunderbolt was about to strike the girl, Vioarr ran forward with his Horn Drill but the girl simply smiled and waved her hand across the sky!
