EPISODE 106: False Tales, True Prophecies!

Water dripped slowly from the hanging rocks above us. The cave was silent as we walked through, there were still no signs of life, no strong signal either. Underground lakes surrounded the cave system as we walked through.

It's time to find the cavern. The cavern buried deep in this cave. The cavern where my parents are.

<BOOM>A large explosion occurred in the sealed hole of the cave.

A squadron of grunts entered the cave from the area my friends entered as well. They surrounded the fallen king while looking for the cavern. These grunts live to protect and secure the king and his queen.

"Alright, listen up team Chaos!" Elanor spoke and shouted from a floating vehicle of some sort.

"We're here for one thing... Find the cavern, find the generation Pokemons, and bring them back to headquarters!" Elanor commanded.

The grunts agreed and bowed down at their king and queen as they continued to march towards the cavern. Something tells me, something bad's gonna happen.

Zorua and Riolu were playing together while we walk towards the cavern. The cavern is not registered in any map, nor in any device. It was passed down from tongue to tongue.

"Come on Zorua! Let's play fetch." Riolu begged while running around Zorua. Zorua seemed to be worried, just like Camellia. Why would they be worried in the first place?

"Not now Riolu, I'm... busy." Zorua uttered with a worried look on her face.

"Busy? Why are you busy? You're just walking. Come on Zorua!" Riolu begged.

"Riolu, not now, but I have to tell you something." Zorua uttered slowly and softly.

"Tell me something? Sure... no problemo!" Riolu enunciated and uttered with a silly face.

"Kalem's not gonna like what he's gonna see in the cavern," Zorua explained.

"I know, I sense that too." Riolu smiled with a silly face.

"Be serious Riolu! We're not alone."

"Of course we're not. Kalem is with his friends! There are also a lot of wild Pokemons." Riolu smiled.

"No not that, I'm talking about something else."

"Don't be worried, we'll protect Kalem!" Riolu smiled with an unserious face.

"Stop joking around Riolu! Kalem's surely going to scold me later..." Zorua uttered with worry.

"Scold you? Why? Did you do anything wrong?"

"Never mind, you won't get it anyways. Just, don't get shocked when something bad happens. I already told you that." Zorua uttered with a worried face.

"I don't know what's happening, but... alright, let me guess? team Chaos is coming?"

"Something graver than that will happen, and that's only the beginning. There's still mount Alympus... and that's what I'm worried about."

"Mount Alympus? What's there? It's just an ordinary mountain."

"You'll see it soon. Don't tell Kalem about the mountain, if he knows everything crumbles."

"Secret's safe with me! Alright, let's play fetch."

"Not now, I'm too... just leave me alone for a awhile," Zorua begged and faced her head down.

Camellia's heart was pounding harder than before as we walked closer to the cavern. She was feeling uncomfortable as her ears listened to the surroundings.

We were able to arrive at the cavern, it was filled with mossy rocks and blue cerulean underground lakes. Your voice can echo even if you talked softly.

"Alright, no one's here, let's go now." Camellia uttered with worry.

"Nah, we haven't searched the area yet. I know where my parents are. Right Zorua?" I smiled and carried Zorua furry body.

"Right... Right... the ring." Zorua smiled with a grimace look.

We walked deeper to the cavern, and that's where I saw the soft and faded ground. One step could break the rocks, and we'll fall into a pit, which is very exciting. (No it's not.)

"Huh, it looks like an empty space to me." Zhery observed the area and saw nothing but stone.

"That's what you think! Zorua use pursuit on the ground and break it!" I beamed and instructed with excitement. Something was tingling up my spine.

"Kalem, are you sure you wanna do this?" Zorua double checked with a worried face.

"Of course! My parents are down there." I beamed with determination.

"Let's just hope Niurs is right," Zorua uttered.

"Niurs? The emperor?"

"Ah! Nothing... I meant y-o-u-r idea is right!" Zorua smiled and purred at my chest.

"Um, ok then! Go and attack the ground!" My excitement went back to my brain.

Camellia was leaning on one of the rocks, looking scared and worried. She started to hear footsteps which were getting closer and closer.

"Hurry Kalem!" Camellia instructed.

Zorua used the attack and the whole floor collapsed! I guess that cavern vision was an instruction!

We hiked down the pit, thanks to Camellia's rope. She was trying to rush all of us to go down the pit.

The pit led to another portion of the cavern, the place where I saw two Pokemons in the vision.

"Zorua, let's look for the test tubes!" I beamed with excitement.

"Test tubes? What are you talking about?" Glade queried.

"You'll see it later! Follow me!" I uttered with excitement and rushed towards the left.

Zorua's heart was pounding hard, just like a person trying to hide his report card at school from his parents.

"What the!?" I rushed to the test tube to see nothing but broken glass with pieces scattered at the ground.

"Where.. where is it!?" I began to wonder.

"Broken test tubes? Funny, it's like a lab inside a cavern." Zhery observed the test tubes. The test tubes were empty for some unknown reason. Days ago, they were filled, now they're gone? Could Zorua be correct, was I teleported in another period of time when I touched the golden ring?

"Gen46A and Gen45B... This is where our parents kept the bio-weapon Pokemons." Glade knelt and led the label.

"Guys, look at this!" Zhery called our names with shock running through her spines.

She found a small desk with a brown notebook resting on top of it. She opened the page and saw something, peculiar.

"Gen 45B and Gen46A, a Pokemon project assigned by the PLA or Professors League Association." Camellia read the journal with shock.

"So my parents were not alone when they were creating the Pokemons." I uttered softly.

"No... they weren't creating, they were upgrading. Look." Camellia flipped the page and saw the picture of the two Pokemons. My eyes were shocked, my father and mother were upgrading...

"I'm getting confused. My parents stole Mewtwo and Genesect!?" I uttered with awe while looking at the pictures.

"Mewtwo shall be named Gen45B while Genesect shall be named Gen46A. Why, would they upgrade the Pokemon?" Zhery questioned while reading the journal.

My awe took over my body as something started to call my name. A voice which I and Zorua could only hear.

"The messenger is here?" Zorua uttered to herself.

The voice kept calling me. It kept on echoing in my brain. Zorua remembered her mission, she must not follow me.

"Kalem... Kalem..." The voice called. I was starting to think that my parents were calling me from a far distance. I decided to follow the voice while my friends read the journal.

Riolu followed me. I was walking like a zombie, I wasn't alarmed nor was I aware of my surroundings. All I cared about was the voice.

"Kalem, are you alright?" Riolu queried while looking at my strange movements. I wasn't able to answer Riolu back, I kept on walking, even if I didn't know where I was heading to.

The voice suddenly stopped and I was on a dark portion of the cave. Riolu was clinging on my leg while I was walking normally. My body turned normal and I was confused about where I was.

"Where's Kalem!?" Camellia began to worry.

"You're right, where did he go again!?" Zhery uttered with frustration.

"Where am I?" I began to wonder. All I see is nothing but pitch black.

I took one step forward, and fire began to run across the cavern walls. Everything was lightened up, and on one tall and sturdy rock. I saw a figure filled with ancient writings that I couldn't understand.

I looked closer at the ancient writings, slowly by slowly the writings became clearer. It was translating itself.

"What...the?" I rubbed my eyes to see if I was hallucinating. I wasn't. The texts were translating by itself.

"A white flower, leading to the light... decays and becomes the prophet of darkness. A bloodbath will soon occur in a lake in pure white. Three cities would suffer from doom. One shall burn, one shall sink, and the other shall be hit by a massive thunderstorm. A blood moon will rise, for the second time? Two Pokemons from two different worlds would descend, while a falling star would..." I read the ancient scripts softly and started to realize things.

"This was, this was my dream!?" I uttered with shock. (See Chapter 6)

"Kalem, are... are you, fine?" Riolu uttered with worry.

"This, was my dream! Before Zorua's egg appeared, I had a nightmare remember?"

"Oh right... but what could your dream be doing in a piece of stone?"

"Judgement Prophecy? Mount Alympus? What's all this gobbledygook?" I began to ponder at the ancient text.

"Mom! Dad!" I called out loud, hoping that they would hear me.

No one was responding back, my head was confused. Me and Riolu walked backward while shouting the words, "Mom, dad!" I was wondering where they are but no one else was responding.

"Where have you been Kalem!?" Zhery uttered with frustration.

"Have you seen mom and dad? I tried to find them but they were not there." I explained.

"Kalem, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Your parents are really dead." Camellia explained.

"Dead? Now they're not! They're here somewhere, I have to search!" I explained.

"We found this USB lying in the table, Glade watched it, and I think you should watch it too," Camellia suggested and inserted the USB on her laptop.

"Voice check, voice check. Alright, log one! I am professor Cypress, today we're in the Kanto region. Me and Lyra borrowed a Pokemon from a trainer who couldn't speak. We promised to return it to him soon, once the enemy is defeated. Our goal for today is to upgrade Mewtwo, a Pokemon created from a strand of Mew's gene." The recorder played.

"Log 2, I am professor Cypress, it's Saturday today. Mewtwo isn't responding, I think we broke it. The PLA is trying to fix the problem alongside my mentor Blaine."

"Log 10, so yeah... Project Mewtwo has been canceled by the government. The Pokemon escaped from the lab, and now we're trying to find it. You must be wondering why I'm in a boat, I'm on my way to the Unova region to negotiate with someone."

"Log 12, the meeting was a success, we now have Genesect. A Pokemon invented by team Plasma and their leader Ghetsis. Now, we're on our way to the Laurenburg region. Mewtwo has been spotted at that region."

"Log 15, Mewtwo is finally captured again! Now we have two bio-weapons to upgrade. They shall be labeled as Generation Pokemons. They'll be upgraded into stronger and more powerful beings. They are capable of opening other worlds, which is the main purpose of this upgrade."

"Log 20, So... It's late in the evening already. I'm at my table at home. I just wanted to do this last log for my son Kalem. Kalem, I know tomorrow is going to be your big day, you'll finally become a Pokemon Trainer like your mother. Tonight is the last night you'll be seeing me and your mother. I know, it sounds painful... and by the time you're watching this, you're probably in the cavern. Your mother and I have to go to the lab tonight. Probably by now, you'll know, that we're going to bombard the lab. Which we really are going to do, the lab is filled with Chaos grunts everywhere trying to act like our colleagues. We've heard rumors that their leader would be arriving later to steal the Generation Pokemons."

"It is time to use the generation Pokemons. Me and your mother will miss you, don't ever give up in your dreams. We may not be with you, but we'll be watching you. When the lab explodes, me and your mother will be escaping with our true colleagues. We can't go back to the house, or else the police would figure out that we're the reason behind the explosion. We're sorry... We're sorry that we didn't have time to, talk and answer all your questions. This USB will be automatically teleported to the cavern. I know you've heard about the judgment prophecy by now, I know you're in the cavern to find us, we know about the Judgement Prophecy and it needs to be fulfilled. We're sorry, that we're not able to spend time together. Be a champion, be a master, and live your life to the fullest!" [Device shuts down]

Tears flowed from my eyes while listening to my father's statement. He was crying while talking from the device.

"They didn't see they were going to die right? They must be alive!" I uttered softly.

"Look at this footage, this was a camera footage from the day of the explosion," Camellia uttered softly and showed the footage.

There was a car trying to run swiftly. My father and mother alongside with Glade's parents were inside the car. Before the car left the lab... The car was succumbed by the fire.

"Everything's going out of control!" My father shouted.

"Your parents died from the explosion," Zhery uttered softly.

"It can't be... This would be a waste of time. Why would rings lead me here in the first place? Don't tell me I was led here just to see an ancient text!" I uttered loudly while crying.

"A... ancient text?" Camellia wondered.

The wall began to break, which opened up a new room.

"What the!?" I uttered with shock and decided to go through the shattered wall. I could see Glade trying to stop crying but I and he couldn't accept the truth.

"What place is this?" I wondered when I entered the strange room. It was filled with broken lab equipment such as test tubes, mortars, microscopes and more.

"Silver-heart laboratory!?" Camellia shouted in shock.

"This place, is the real laboratory!? This means, the laboratory in Silver-heart city was a cover-up because it was filled with spies!" Zhery concluded.

"You might be right, Kalem's dad said, there were grunts acting like colleagues, trying to steal the generation Pokemons. Which means, they released Mewtwo and Genesect to bombard the place. The rings make sense!" Glade spoke while wiping his tears.

"Alright, explain what kind of rings are you guys talking about!?" Zhery instructed.

"There were four golden rings, which supported the details of my father..." I uttered solemnly.

"Ring one, our parents were planning to bombard the lab. Which means they know about the explosion. They were going to bombard the lab because they knew they were surrounded by spies which acted like professors. Ring two, my mother said that the Pokemons were operational. Meaning, they were planning to use Metwo and Genesect to bomb the fake lab. Ring three, their leader arrived, he had scars on his face, meaning, the Chaos regime were planning to attack the fake lab but my father knew about it. He stated it in the voice recording about their leader arriving at that night. Ring four, Glade wasn't with me. I was teleported to this place and saw test tubes with Mewtwo and Genesect were in, the fourth ring was trying to tell me that the cavern of the deep is the real Silver-heart laboratory. They failed the plan? But I was led here. There's a reason why I was led here, something beyond the prophecy I saw in the cave and in my dreams." I uttered and thought deeply.

"But where could the two Pokemons be? Where could Mewtwo and Genesect be?" Zhery wondered.

"At last, the sons have arrived." A voice spoke. All of us heard the voice as two Pokemons walked slowly towards us.

"Mewtwo!? Genesect!? You're here?" Glade wondered in shock.

"You made your parents proud, especially you Kalem." Mewtwo went in front of me and uttered.

"Tell me, why am I here? You were the ones who placed the necklace on Zorua weren't you?"

"Why don't you ask Zorua?" Genesect suggested.

"Zorua!? Do you now about this!?" I uttered with shock and slight anger.

"Um...." Zorua uttered with a sad face.

"Zorua, I'm talking to you! Answer me."

"Y... yes, I knew about the necklace and I didn't tell you. It was not Mewtwo nor Genesect who placed the necklace." Zorua uttered softly.

"Then why didn't you tell me!? I trusted you! You are my Pokemon, why didn't you tell me that you knew about the necklace? You said to me you didn't know! You're a liar!" I shouted out loud.

"I... I'm sorry Kalem. I had to lie." Zorua laid down and apologized while tears fell off her eyes.

"So you knew about the cavern, that's why you were suspicious when we teleported here. I thought you were my Pokemon? A Pokemon does not lie to his trainer!"

"Kalem, don't be too harsh!" Zhery uttered.

"Too harsh!? Who wouldn't shout at a liar like Zorua!" I badgered.

"Now, it's time for your real mission."

"Mission!? I came here to find my parents. End of story! My parents are dead so I'm going to continue my journey!" I shouted out loud at the two generation Pokemons.

"Kalem, your father wanted to go here not because to find them but to find us," Mewtwo explained.

"Why would the voice tell me, that Kalem's parents are alive. Did the voice lie to me?" Zorua uttered to her mind while trying to go closer to me.

"You! Don't go close to me, you have some explaining to do later!" I shouted at Zorua. Zorua laid down and shivered with fear. Riolu started to realize what Zorua meant.

"Mewtwo, they're here!" Genesect whispered.

"Listen to me, accept this mission and go to- Ah!" Mewtwo was suddenly surrounded by an electrical ring. Genesect was caught as well by the electric ring.

"What the!?" The four of us looked behind and saw Team Chaos.

Camellia got shocked and worried. Her heart pounded louder than before.

"Thank you for leading them to us!" Elanor uttered as the two generation Pokemons were dragged into a cage. The cage was indestructible, not even their powers could set them free.

"Let them go!" I uttered with anger.

"As a thank you reward, we'll let you go... except for Camellia!" Elanor spoke with a villainous tone. The king and queen slowly walked out from the shadows and approached the four of us.

Things are intensifying! What will happen next? As the Journey continues.

If there are confusionn about the rings, you may read the chapter containing each vision.
