Nidoking fires out a Thunderbolt through its horn while running towards Charizard. Charizard counters with Flamethrower tearing apart Nidoking's attack, forcing Nidoking to counter-attack with Mega Punch to get rid of it. Blaine slowly retreats backward while Charizard flew straight toward Nidoking.

'Poison Tail,' "Fire Punch," Our commands came out at the same time, the same couldn't have been said about Nidoking's and Charizard's reaction time, with Charizard using Fire Punch almost instantly after the command came while Nidoking had a short delay. Luckily, this delay didn't affect the battle, with Nidoking's Poison Tail pushing back Charizard's Fire Punch.

'Sludge Beam,' Quickly reacting to Blaine's command, I sent my commands. The two attacks collided and Charizard rushes forward.

NANI! Sludge Beam and Fire Blast once more collide and the Toxic Spikes that were now fired off by Nidoking were blown away.

'Earth Power,' Earth Spikes burst out of the ground below Charizard hitting him, and the impact sends him into the air.

'Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt, and whatever else you can fire, fire!' I commanded. Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt, and lastly, Hyper Beam shoot towards Charizard.

"Flare Bli..." 'Confusion,' When Charizard was about to counterattack his body froze from Confusion and the attack bombarded him, however just when Hyper Beam was about to hit, Charizard's body erupted in flames and manages to block the attack with Fire Punch. The flame on its tail turns blue, while it roars angrily.

[Blaze: When the user is low in health and has a strong enough willpower to continue fighting enters Blaze Form, significantly boosting all Fire-type attacks]

The two roared at each other aggressively, and this lead to Nidoking's ability activating.

Nidoking stood heavily on the ground where he stood to slightly sink and shot forward, head-first towards Charizard who was already moving towards him with his body covered in flames using Flare Blitz.

Looking at Nidoking collapsed on the ground, I really felt like giving him a round of applause. Not bad, I guess Nidoking will be rewarded once we have returned back. Besides harassing Artic, this is the most entertaining scene I have seen in a while now.

First, there's America in the Pokedex through Mew, now I'm hearing about China through Arcanine. Great, how lovely, what made me decide to use the Pokedex entry anyways? Time to redraw a map *internal cries*.

Also, the butterfly effect is strong in this. Anyways, expect a brief time skip without a huge explanation of what occurred in the period.
