Pokemon Plus

Typical transfer to another world (pokemon world) with a system. Happens after Ash/Gary era, 30+ years after. Does not follow the original story. Has a different take in the pokemon metaverse. He doesn't have a goal in mind, just trying to enjoy the pokemon world. Maybe later in the series. This is my first time writing something so I apologize if it's a bit confusing, English isn't my first language so, I may have a lot of wrong spellings, grammar issues, and something wrong with my tenses or POV. Disclaimer I don't own Pokemon

Chapter 25

When Leon opened the door, he saw a kid who was taller than him – around 5'6, was chubby like a bear, had a wavy brown hair and brown eyes and he looked like a mix between a Caucasian and an Asian.

"Good morning, the name's Woody Cero. You can call me Woody," greeted the kid and extended his hand.

"Hello there, I'm Leon Flyheight. Please call me Leon," Leon smiled as he replied and shook hands with Woody.

"I call dibs on the bedroom in the middle," Woody pointed.

Seconds later, somebody had entered through the front door.

"Looks like I was the last one to arrive. The name is Mark Saga," he smiled at them. Mark was as tall as Woody. He had curly black hair and black eyes. He also looked mixed and had an average build.

The three of them shook hands and introduced themselves.

"Saga? As in the 'Saga' family from the Sinnoh region?" Woody asked in surprise.

"Saga family?" Leon had a puzzled look on his face.

"The Saga family is a rising new power in Sinnoh region," Woody informed.

"Indeed, my father had worked hard to increase our family's prestige. I would like to help him when me and my pokemon grow stronger," Mark said then looked at Woody. "To think I would be roommates with one of Kanto region's rising merchant families as well."

Both of them smiled and shook hands once more.

I guess they're both glad to have met each other and form a connection. I hope I won't get dragged into their family stuff. Leon hoped that he didn't raise any flag.

"Hmm looks like you guys have a lot of talking to do, so, I'll leave you guys be," Leon said as he stepped outside not wanting to bother. Both of them nodded and continued to talk about their business.

Some of the facilities of the Academy were still not open, so Leon decided to explore Pallet Town instead.

The academy was located southwest of Pallet Town while the residential area is at the middle and Professor Oak's laboratories are located southeast of the town. The shopping district is found north of the academy.

By the time Gary and Ash retired, Pallet already became a large city. The place had expanded to take a bit of Route 1, the uninhabited woods on both sides and towards the sea to reclaimed a bit of Route 21. Despite the expansion, Pallet had retained the name "Pallet Town."

Leon went to the shopping district. He wanted to know the general price of things because during the time when he was working for Professor Oak, he had not bought a single thing from his salary and just saved it all since everything was provided. He assumed that he needed a lot of money to increase his future pokemon's potentials by either buying artificial treasures or the natural formed ones.

As he was exploring the district, he noticed that a pokemon with a B rank or below were sold at a range from 10,000 to 500,000 pokedollars and the rarer breeds can reach millions. The A rank pokemon or higher are mostly auctioned off.

He found out that the Pokemon Association could only identify the difference in ranks but not the stages per rank. This means that they were not able to tell if the pokemon had an A rank (Low) or (Peak) Potential. They simply identified an A rank as A rank and etc. Also, they were unable to see a pokemon's talents and skills. This gave him an idea that he could make money by selling a pokemon that he didn't want to include in his team.

It was still early when Leon finished looking at all the stores in Pallet Town, so he decided to visit Viridian City after lunch. He would like Toshi to memorize the city's coordinates so they could just teleport back and forth.
