Chapter 71: A Ghost Of A Prank

(On a cloudy day.)

(Mew and her friends continue their journey.)

(as Mew and her Pokemon train for the Pokemon League.)

(But today, Mew and her friends are heading towards Lavender Town.)

(Mew is holding a bouquet of flowers.)

(Pikachu and Eevee are walking with little Axew and Haunter who is floating with them.)

(Misty looks around to see the thick fog around the woods and is looking nervous.)

(Misty nervously says.)

Misty: "You know, these woods are more creepy than the last time we came here."

Mew: "I know what you mean. The fog seems thicker than usual. I can hardly see anything in front of my face."

(Mew says.)

(Tomo asks.)

Tomo: "So Mew, why did we decide to come here?"

Mew: "We're going to visit Pokemon Tower to pay respect to Haxorus, Axew's mom. Then visit Haunter's friends."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Oh,"

(Tomo replies.)

(Then sadly says.)

Tomo: "I remember you telling me about the incident and what Axew have gone through."

Mew: "Yeah,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Haunter picks up Axew and the two smile at each other.)

Mew: "I thought it would be nice for Axew to see his mom once in a while and Haunter to see his friends."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "And I'm sure Axew and Haunter are happy to see them again."

(Misty says.)

Brock: "I think we're almost there. And we should be able to see it when we reach the edge of the woods."

(Brock says.)

(Mew and her friends continue to walk through the woods and soon reach the cliff.)

(To the group's shock, they see that Lavender Town looks spookier than the last time they're here.)

(The fog is practically covering the city, and the tower seems more frightening.)

Brock: "What happened here?"

(Brock asks.)

Misty: "It looks more scary than usual,"

(Misty says, frightened.)

Mew: "I don't know. Something's up."

(Mew says.)

(Not wasting much time.)

(Mew and her friends are able to get to the Pokemon Center.)

(even if it's foggy and spooky, they are able to find it thanks to the Pokenav.)

(When they arrive, they decide to have some lunch as they try to figure out what is going on.)

(Misty looks out the window.)

Misty: "This place is even creepier than usual. Maybe we picked a bad time to come here."

Mew: "It may be creepy, but I did promise Axew to visit his mom and Haunter to visit his friends,"

(Mew says.)

(Misty sighs.)

Misty: "I guess you're right."

Tomo: "So this place hasn't always been spooky?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "Well, no. The place is usually foggy, but not this much."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "She's right. And there aren't that many people around either."

(Brock says.)

Misty: "This is getting weird,"

(Misty replies.)

(Suddenly, they hear someone asks.)

A man: "So the ghost of Lucario reappeared again?"

A woman: "Yes, and it's still haunting the town, fighting everyone, especially the Pokemon Tower."

(Another voice says.)

(The group turns their heads to notice two men and two women are having a discussion.)

(A man says.)

A man: "Yes. And a lot of people are too scared to approach the tower. The ghost is frightening anyone who comes too close to it."

A woman: "I wonder why the ghost is here? It seems the situation is almost like the last time."

(A woman says.)

The man: "I don't know. I hope it will be over soon."

(The man says.)

(The group who is hearing the conversation.)

(is confused to hear another ghost situation has appeared.)

(Misty turns her head and says, confused.)

Misty: "Another ghost?"

Brock: "It seems so. And they said it's Lucario. They're rather around Kanto,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Lucario. I remember reading about that Pokemon."

(Mew says, bringing out her Pokedex.)

(Mew looks up on her Pokedex, and sees a picture of the Pokemon.)

(The Pokémon, Lucario is a bipedal, canine-like Pokémon with predominantly blue and black fur.)

(It possesses a short, round spike on the back of each forepaw, in addition to a third on its chest.)

(It has red eyes, a long snout, and ears.)

(When its mouth is open, two pairs of pointed teeth, one in the upper jaw and one in the lower, can be seen.)

(It possesses cream-colored fur on its torso and blue fur on its thighs that resemble shorts.)

(It has a medium-length tail of the same blue color as well.)

(It stands on its toes rather than on its entire foot.)

(It has developed four black appendages that hang down from its head.)

(Then Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Lucario, the Aura Pokemon. A Fighting and Steel Type. Lucario uses a power called aura, which allows it to sense human feelings."

Mew: "It can sense aura, huh."

(Mew says, curious.)

Tomo: "Sounds kind of cool,"

(Tomo says.)

Brock: "Still, I'm curious about this spirit they're mentioning. Remember the incident with Haxorus and Team Rocket when we last came here."

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Trust me, I think we all remember."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I wonder if Reina and Mr. Kyle can tell us something about the spirit of Lucario."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Well, the best we can do is go to the Pokemon House and see if they know anything."

(Mew says.)

(Soon enough, Mew and her friends are now out in the foggy town to make their way to the Pokemon House.)

(which is also Mr. Kyle's home, to see if he and Reina know anything about Lucario's ghost.)

Brock: "I hope Mr. Kyle and Reina can tell us something about Lucario, or what's been happening around here."

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Yeah. Maybe the Pokemon is having trouble finding peace, like what happened with Haxorus."

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika," (I agree.)

(Pikachu says.)

(Then Eevee wonders.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee?" (I have to wonder why?)

(Just then, Axew notices something or someone up ahead and points towards it.)

Axew: "Ax Ew Ew?" (Hey, who's that?)

Mew: "Who?"

(Mew questions.)

(The group looks ahead to notice someone is standing before them.)

Tomo: "What's that?"

(Tomo asks.)

Brock: "It looks like a Pokemon,"

(Brock says.)

(The Pokemon they're seeing a short distance away is small, even smaller than Tomo.)

(It's a small, bright yellow, canine Pokémon.)

(It has a gray torso and legs, a bright yellow tail, and a light blue collar.)

(It has rounded bumps on the backs of its forepaws.)

(It has a gray mask and orange eyes.)

(It stands on its toes instead of its entire foot.)

(It has developed two black appendages that hang down from its head.)

Misty: "I never seen that one before,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "What kind of Pokemon is it?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Mew brings out her Pokedex and says.)

Mew: "Let's find out."

(With that, Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Riolu, the Emanation Pokemon, and the pre-evolved form of Lucario. A Fighting Type. It can use waves called auras to gauge how others are feeling. These same waves can also tell this Pokémon about the state of the environment."

Brock: "So it's a Riolu. It's also rare to see a Riolu, especially her in Lavender Town,"

(Brock says.)

(Tomo looks at the Pokedex and notices the picture of the Riolu is different from what they're saying.)

(The Riolu on the Pokedex, is blue with black, a yellow collar, and red eyes.)

Tomo: "And the Riolu is a different color,"

(Tomo notices.)

Mew: "So it means that this Riolu is a Shiny Pokemon,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I wonder if that's why Lucario's ghost is haunting the city."

(Misty suspects.)

Mew: "Maybe we can go ask it and find out."

(Mew says.)

(Just then, the small Riolu notices the group and grows a bit weary.)

(So it runs away.)

Mew: "Wiat Riolu, we need to talk to you."

(Mew calls out.)

(With that, Mew, Pikachu, Eevee, Axew, and Haunter hurry off to catch up with Riolu.)

Brock: "Mew, wait up!"

(Brock calls out.)

(With that, Brock, Misty, Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet quickly hollow after them.)

(The group continues to follow Riolu into an alley.)

(Soon, Riolu stops to see the alley is blocked.)

(Mew and the others come to a stop to see Riolu looking rather frightened, and scared.)

Misty: "The poor thing, it must be scared."

(Misty says, feeling concerned.)

Mew: "Maybe it's nervous to be around humans. Maybe it has something to do with the Lucario."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Mew, maybe you can have your Pokemon talk to Riolu, it might help."

(Brock says.)

Mew: "I think it's a good idea."

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, something begins to appear in front of them.)

(The fog begins to get thicker around them, frightening the group.)

Misty: "What's going on?"

(Misty asks.)

Tomo: "Where did this fog come from?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Brock soon notices something in front of them.)

Brock: "Uh guys, I think I know what's going on."

(Mew and the others turn their heads to see a Pokemon known as Lucario is standing before them.)

(Yet this one has a different color scheme.)

(It has the same colors as the Riolu, even has the same orange color eyes.)

Misty: "Is that… the Ghost of Lucario…"

(Misty asks, frightened.)

Mew: "And that Lucario is a Shiny Pokemon."

(Mew says.)

(Just then, the Pokemon's spirit lets out a powerful growl.)

(and begins to use a powerful dark type attack and fire at them.)

(Everyone quickly dodge the attack and panic.)

(Then the Pokemon's ghost attacks them with the same attack.)

(Everyone panics and screams and runs away in fear.)

(Mew screams.)

Mew: "Let's get out of here!"

Misty: "Why is that Pokemon attacking us?!"

(Misty panics.)

Tomo: "Run!"

(Tomo screams.)

(Soon enough, the groups are able to reach the Pokemon House.)

(Mew quickly knocks on the door in a panic.)

(and soon enough the door opens to reveal Reina.)

Reina: "Oh Mew, everyone. Welcome… back…"

(Reina says, but notices the frightened and tired looks on their faces.)

(Confused, Reina asks.)

Reina: "What happened?"

Brock: "It… it's a long… story,"

(Brock says, tired.)

Misty: "We… we were… attacked…"

(Misty panics.)

(Reina is confused about it, so she allows Mew and the others inside the Pokemon House.)

(They soon have some tea and some snacks.)

Rena: "You saw Lucario's spirit in town and the orphaned Riolu?"

(Rena asks, a little surprised.)

Misty: "We did, and it attacked us,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I think it attacked us because we were too close to the little Riolu."

(Mew says.)

Reina: "That seems to be the case. People who have been seen and attacked by the spirit have also seen the baby orphaned Riolu,"

(Reina says.)

Brock: "What happened?"

(Brock asks.)

Reina: "The Spirit of Lucario was a Shiny Lucario that came to the area four months ago and lives in the mountains. Sadly, there was a landslide and Lucario was caught in it. However, we found out that it had a place to live and it had a baby. Many have tried to find the little Riolu, but every time someone gets close to it or the Pokemon tower where Lucario is resting in peace, its spirit scares everyone away."

(Reina says.)

Misty: "That sounds sad. That poor Riolu,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew crosses her arms and begins to think of something.)

Brock: "What is it, Mew?"

(Brock asks.)

Mew: "I don't know, something about this Lucario seems off to me. I mean, I never heard of Lucario using Nightshade before."

(Mew says.)

(Brock soon agrees.)

Brock: "You're right. I never heard of Lucario using Nightshade."

Misty: "Maybe because it's a ghost so it can use other attacks."

(Misty suggests.)

Mew: "That can't be it. There has to be another explanation for it. And the only way to figure out what's going on, is to find Riolu."

(Mew says.)

(Misty soon notices.)

Misty: "Hey Mew, what happened to Hanter?"

(Mew and the others notice that Haunter isn't among them anymore.)

Mew: "Hey, where did Haunter go?"

(Mew asks.)

Tomo: "Axew is not here either,"

(Tomo says.)

Brock: "Maybe Haunter and Axew already went to Pokemon Tower,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "We gotta find them."

(Mew says.)

(Meanwhile, Haunter and Axew are already at Pokemon Tower.)

(and see that no one is even around.)

Axew: "Axew Axew Axew?" (I wonder what happened to that Lucario?)

(Axew asks.)

Haunter: "Haunter Haunter Haunter," (Not sure, but I don't think that Pokemon is really a spirit.)

(Haunter says.)

(Then floats to the tower.)

Haunter: "Haunter." (Let's go.)

(Axew simply agrees and walks inside the tower.)

(They both walk inside and begin to explore the trail through the tower and head up to the upper floor.)

(Haunter and Axew continue to make their way through the tower and climb to the upper floor.)

(Suddenly, they begin to hear the sounds of weeping.)

Axew: "Ew?" (What's that?)

(Axew wonders.)

Haunter: "Haunter Haunter Haunt," (I think we're not the only ones here.)

(Haunter says.)

(Haunter and Axew soon reach the next floor.)

(and it's the one where Axew is familiar with.)

(This is the floor where his mother's grave is.)

(They both begin walking around and on the other side of the floor.)

(close to the staircase, is the Riolu that is weeping and has its paws covering its eyes.)

(The little Riolu is sitting on the floor and is very sad.)

(A little surprised, Axew says.)

Axew: "Ew Axew." (It's the Riolu from before.)

Haunter: "Haunter Haunter?" (Wonder why it's here?)

(Haunter questions.)

(Axew looks to see Riolu is standing at a grave.)

(Then ends up with a flashback of how sad he was when his mother died.)

(To Axew, maybe the little Riolu feels the same way.)

(Axew then begins to make his way towards the Riolu.)

(The little Riolu is so in despair that it doesn't know Axew is secretly advancing to it.)

(Just then, Axew calmly calls out.)

Axew: "Axew?" (Riolu?)

(The Riolu becomes startled and turns its head to see the Axew before her.)

(The little Riolu softly asks.)

Riolu: "Ri Riolu?" (Who… who are you?)

Axew: "Axew. Ew Ew Axew. Ew Axew?" (I'm Axew. It's very nice to meet you. Can we talk?)

(Axew replies.)

(The Little Riolu feels a little reluctant about this.)

(but seeing how nice Riolu is, it decides to give Axew a chance.)

(Meanwhile, Mew, Reina, and the others are now standing in front of Pokemon Tower.)

(and suspect this is where Axew and Haunter could have gone off to.)

Misty: "You really think they could have gone in there?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "It's the only place I can think of. This is where Haxorus' grave is and this is where Haunters' friends live. So I suspect they probably came here after we got separated."

(Mew says.)

Reina: "She has a point,"

(Reina says.)

Misty: "Yeah. You're right,"

(Misty says.)

(Togepi and Pichu are weary about the Pokemon Tower.)

(and quickly hide in Misty's backpack in fright.)

Mew: "The poor dears,"

(Mew says, worried.)

(Then Meloetta and Skwovet hide behind Tomo.)

(frightened of the haunted house.)

Tomo: "This place does look creepy,"

(Tomo says, feeling a little scared.)

Mew: "I know. It looks more spooky than the last time we were here."

(Mew says.)

(Then says.)

Mew: "But we need to find Axew and Haunter. And maybe we'll find the little Riolu here as well."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Let's go find them before the ghost finds us."

(Brock says.)

(The group then begins to walk inside the Pokemon Tower.)

(unaware that someone has watched them go inside the tower.)

(The person is an elderly woman with black eyes and grayish blonde hair.)

(She has a long sleeve purple dress with a white collar.)

(and a gem pin in the middle, she has white apron, gray socks, and purple mary janes.)

(the same color as the dress.)

(She is also holding a cane in her hand as well.)

???: "Hmmm,"

(The elderly woman replies.)

(In the Pokemon Tower.)

(Mew and her friends are walking around the tower and looking around.)

(This time, they're able to have some flashlights and use them to see in the dark place.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Axew. Haunter."

Misty: "Haunter,"

(Misty calls out.)

(Then Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Axew."

Pikachu: "Pika Pika?" (Where are you?)

(Pikachu asks.)

(Eevee calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee," (Where are you, guys?)

Misty: "I don't see them,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Maybe they're on the upper floor where Haxorus' grave is."

(Mew says.)

Reina: "Maybe that's where they are?"

(Reina wonders.)

Brock: "Only one way to find out."

(Brock says.)

(With that, the group continues to walk up the stairs to the floor where Haxorus' grave is.)

(When they arrive up to the floor and where Haxorus' grave is, Haunter and Axew aren't there.)

Reina: "They're not here,"

(Reina says.)

Mew: "That's strange. I was sure they were here."

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock suggests.)

Brock: "Maybe they're with Gastly and Gengar?"

Mew: "Then our best bet is to go to the top floor and see if they're there."

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, the fog begins to roll inside the building.)

Misty: "What's going on now?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "I got a bad feeling about this."

(Mew says.)

(Just then, the ghost of the Shiny Lucario appears in front of them.)

Misty: "It's Lucario's ghost!"

(Misty panics.)

(Just then, the Ghost of Lucario performs Nightshade and aims it towards the group.)

Reina: "Look out!"

(Reina panics.)

(Everyone quickly dodges out of the way.)

(Just then, the spirit of Lucario performs other attacks like Shadow Ball.)

(Brock and Reina dodges the attack.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu, Eevee, use Thunderbolt!"

(With that, Pikachu and Eevee perform the attack.)

(Suddenly, Lucario uses Psychic to repel the attack of Thunderbolt.)

(and have them move around it.)

(and head towards Pikachu and Eevee, and strike them both.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Mew panics, concern.)

(Mew kneels down to them in concern.)

Mew: "Are you both okay?"

Misty: "That Lucario is powerful,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "I think you're right, but it's strange that it can use Nightshade,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "You're right. Something strange is going on here."

(Mew says.)

(Quickly quickly dodge out of the way as the attacks Lucario continues keep coming at them.)

(Suddenly, the ghost stops attacking and makes its way up the stairs.)

(Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet see it going up stairs along with a mysterious shadow.)

(Curious, Tomo and his Pokemon follow up the stairs after them.)

(Hiding behind the graves, Mew and the others.)

(Including the Pokemon are able to peek out to see the ghost is gone.)

Misty: "Okay, I think I have enough of this! I say we get out of here!"

(Misty panics in fear.)

Mew: "We can't leave now. Axew and Haunter are still here somewhere."

(Mew says.)

(Brock looks around and notices.)

Brock: "Wait, where's Tomo?!"

(The girls look around to notice Tomo is gone.)

Mew: "Oh no! Tomo!"

(Mew panics.)

(Tomo along with Meloetta and Skwovet secretly watch the ghost of Lucario up the stairs.)

(Tomo and his pokemon continue to follow Lucario up until they reach the top floor.)

(Once on the top floor, Tomo and his Pokemon quickly hide behind the pillar to see.)

(Suddenly, they see something that is shocking.)

(The Lucario jumps in the air and changes its shape entirely.)

(What they see is a slate gray, fox-like Pokémon with darkish gray and blue accents.)

(Its ears are triangular with dark insides, and it has a large tuft of fur tipped with blue on top of its head.)

(It has burgundy colored eyes with blue eyelids.)

(There are circular, blue markings above the eyes that resemble eyebrows.)

(Its muzzle is short and tapered with two small fangs seen in the upper jaw when its mouth is open.)

(dark gray fur around its neck and four short limbs tipped with blue.)

(Its tail is short and bushy.)

Tomo: "A Pokemon?"

(Tomo whispers.)

(Just then, appearing in front of the Fox Pokemon is a spherical Pokémon that appears to be covered by a gray cloth.)

(Black rings surround its multicolored eyes, which have light-blue sclerae, dark-blue irises, and yellow pupils.)

(Extending from the top of its head is a long, pointed horn.)

(Soon, the two look at each other and let out chuckles with grins on their faces.)

(Tomo turns to Meloetta and Skwovet.)

Tomo: "We gotta tell the others about this."

(Meloetta and Skwovet nod their heads in reply.)

(Tomo and his Pokemon are able to sneak away.)

(and quietly walk down the stairs.)

(Mew and her friends look around to find Tomo and his Pokemon.)

Misty: "Where could Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet have gone off to?"

(Misty wonders.)

Brock: "Perhaps they went to the upper floor to follow that ghost,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "We gotta find them, and fast,"

(Mew says.)

???: "You're going to need some help,"

(An elder woman's voice says.)

(The group quickly turns their heads in fright to see the elderly woman.)

(with grayish blonde hair with a purple outfit and brown cane.)

(They all sigh in relief to see that it's a grown woman and not another ghost.)

Mew: "Oh, you scared us,"

(Mew says.)

(The woman chuckles and says.)

???: "There's no need to apologize, but I can see that you have a little problem."

(Reina is surprised.)

Reina: "Wait, aren't you Agatha? The Elite Four who specializes in Ghost Type Pokemon?"

(The group becomes surprised to hear.)

(this woman is one of the Elite Four like Lorelei and Bruno.)

Agatha: "Yes. I am, and I couldn't help that you all have a ghost problem,"

(The woman, Agatha says.)

Mew: "Yeah. We do. Some of our friends have gone missing."

(Mew says, still a little surprised.)

(Then explains.)

Mew: "My Haunter and Axew might have come here alone. You see, my Axew's mother is buried here and Haunter has some friends here, so I suspect they are here."

Misty: "Then the ghost of Lucario keeps attacking us,"

(Misty adds.)

Brock: "And now we've got separated from Tomo, who was also with us, and his Pokemon,"

(Brock says.)

Agatha: "I had a feeling you'll be running into trouble so that's why I've come."

(Agatha says.)

Reina: "We could really use your help,"

(Reina says.)

Mew: "Yeah. And that ghost seems pretty powerful. And in fact, I don't think that ghost is really a ghost."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "She's right,"

(Tomo's voice answers.)

(Mew and the others turn their heads to see Tomo hurrying towards them as he runs down the stairs.)

Mew: "Tomo, there you are!"

(Mew says, relieved.)

Misty: "Where did you disappear to?"

(Misty asks.)

Tomo: "I'm okay, but I saw Lucario, that wasn't a ghost, it's a different Pokemon."

(Tomo says.)

Reina: "You mean a Ghost Pokemon?"

(Reina asks.)

Tomo: "Not really, but a Ghost Pokemon was involved. The Lucario is actually a different Pokemon that was able to change its shape, but it's not a Ditto either."

(Tomo says.)

Brock: "So in other words…."

(Brock says.)

(Then Misty cuts in.)

Misty: "We've been tricked!"

Mew: "Seems so, but why would two Pokemon go through the trouble to scare us?"

(Mew says, trying to think.)

Brock: "I wonder if that Riolu knows anything about it,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Well, we gotta find that Riolu and find out. We also still need to find Axew and Haunter."

(Mew says.)

(Right on cue, they hear a familiar voice.)

Axew: "Axew!" (Mew!)

(Mew quickly turns her head with a smile to see Axew and Haunter.)

(what's more Gastly and Gengar are with them.)

(and another Pokemon is with them.)

Mew: "Axew, Haunter, there you are? And I see you two have brought you friends,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Mew notices the Riolu next to Axew.)

Mew: "Riolu, what are you doing here?"

Riolu: "Riolu Riolu. Ri Ri Riolu" (I was visiting my mom, until I met Axew, Haunter, and their friends,)

(Riolu answers.)

Axew: "Axew Axew Axew Axew," (Turns out the ghost is actually its friends Zorua and Shuppet.)

(Axew says.)

Mew: "Who?"

(Mew says confused.)

(Reina looks ahead.)

Reina: "Look over there."

(The group looks ahead to see Lucario's spirit again.)

Misty: "Oh no, it's back."

(Misty panics.)

Mew: "And it's not looking happy."

(Mew says.)

(With that, Lucario begins to attack them.)

(with different attacks like Nightshade, psychic, and other kinds of attacks.)

(Mew and the others quickly dodge away and continue to move away from the attack.)

Reina: "We need to stop it somehow!"

(Reina says.)

Brock: "I don't think I'm willing to talk,"

(Brock says.)

(Agatha then brings out her Pokeball.)

Agatha: "Well then, I think it's time to put an end to these games."

(Agatha then throws her Pokeball and calls out.)

Agatha: "Go Gengar!"

(With that Agatha releases her Gengar.)

(Then Agatha calls out.)

Agatha: "Gengar use Hypnosis!"

(With that, Agatha's Gengar flies towards Lucario's spirit and begins to perform its Hypnosis attack.)

(Soon the Lucario begins to change its shape to the small fox Pokemon and collapses on the ground.)

(Soon, it falls into a deep sleep.)

(With that, the other Pokemon appears and looks at its friend with concern.)

(Seeing its friend asleep, Riolu hurries over to it as well.)

Misty: "Wow. that must be a strong attack,"

(Misty says.)

(Tomo walks over to the little Pokemon and picks up the sleeping Pokemon in her arms.)

(Tomo turns to the others and says.)

Tomo: "Don't worry, your friend will be fine. To be honest, I kind of figured out it was your friend who was pretending to be Lucario."

(Riolu and the other Pokemon are surprised to hear it.)

(As they leave, Axew explains that he and Haunter get separated after Lucario's first attack.)

(and end up heading to Pokemon Tower.)

(They all meet with Riolu and decide to hang out.)

(As it turns out, Riolu is the child of Lucario that has lost it's life.)

(Zorua and the Shuppet found it and they all stayed together.)

(Turns out, the stuff that's been going is Zorua and Shuppet's form of prank.)

(Sometime later at the Pokemon House, the fog begins disappearing and the ghost problem has come to an end.)

(Mew and the others watch the sleeping Pokemon until it begins to wake up.)

(The Fox Pokemon wakes up to see the others and gets into a panic in fright.)

(Tomo kneels to the Pokemon and pets it.)

Tomo: "It's okay. We're not going to hurt you."

Mew: "Yeah, but we didn't really appreciate you turning into a ghost and attacking us,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Riolu and the other Pokemon.)

Mew: "And that goes for you two as well."

(Riolu and its friends bow their heads and apologize, even the fox Pokemon.)

Misty: "I wonder what kind of Pokemon they are?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "Axew said that they're called Zorua and Shuppet,"

(Mew says, and brings out her Pokedex.)

(Seeing it, Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Shuppet, the Puppet Pokemon. A Ghost Type. Shuppet grows by feeding on dark emotions, such as vengefulness and envy, in the hearts of people. It roams through cities in search of grudges that taint people."

Misty: "Sounds a bit spooky,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew turns the Pokedex to the fox Pokemon.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Zorua, the Tricky Fox Pokemon. A Dark Type. Zorua sometimes transforms into a person and goes into cities to search for food. When Zorua does this, it usually takes on the form of a child."

Mew: "Wow. So it's able to change its shape, even into Pokemon,"

(Mew says.)

Agatha: "Well, it's glad to see the situation with the ghost has been solved, and I don't think they'll be doing that trick again."

(Then turns to Mew.)

Agatha: "I suspect that you're Mew from Pallet Town, correct?"

Mew: "Um yeah. How do you know?"

(Mew asks.)

Agatha: "Why my dear Professor Oak and I knew each other. We were rivals back when we were trainers."

(Agatha says.)

Brock: "And you're still a strong trainer,"

(Brock says.)

Agatha: "Thank you,"

(Agatha says.)

(Just then, Riolu, Zorua, and Shuppet turn to Tomo and gather around him.)

(Gengar and Gastly do the same with Haunter.)

Brock::"I'm beginning to think these guys want to go with you,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Really?"

(Mew asks.)

(Haunter Gengar and Gastly nod their heads.)

(Then Haunter brings out the three Pokeballs.)

Mew: "Hey,"

(Mew says.)

(Gengar and Gastly use their abilities to tap on the Pokeballs and go inside.)

(Haunter does the same.)

(With that, Gengar and Gastly have been caught.)

Mew: "I guess that answers my question,"

(Mew replies.)

(Tomo turns to Riolu and it's friends.)

Tomo: "You wanna come with me."

(The three happily nod their heads.)

(Tomo brings out his Pokeballs.)

Tomo: "Alright then. Welcome to the group."

(Tomo then taps his Pokeballs on the three Pokemon and they go inside.)

(With a click, they both are in their Pokeballs.)

Mew: "Well, it looks like we have caught some new and old friends."

(Mew says.)

(Mew and Tomo release their Pokemon friends and begin to be with them with fun and excitement.)

(Agatha walks over to Mew and Tomo and says.)

Agatha: "I can see that you truly cherish your Pokemon. I would like to give you and young Tomo something."

(Mew and Tomo become interested and Agatha reaches into her pocket.)

(and gives Mew a light purple gem with a purple and red color design inside.)

(Then gives Tomo a round gem that is pink with gray and yellow on the inside.)

(Mew becomes surprised.)

Mew: "Mega stones."

Agatha: "That's right. They're for your Gengar and Shuppet. Mew, you have a Gengarite for your Gengar to Mega Evolve. And Tomo, you have Banettite for when your Shuppet evolves into Banette," Agatha says.

Mew: "Wow. Thanks Agatha,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Thank you,"

(Tomo happily says.)

(After that, Mew along with her friends.)

(even Agatha are in Pokemon Tower and pay their respect to Haxorus and Lucario.)

(After that, Mew and her friends leave Lavender Town.)
