Chapter 30: Bound of Trouble

(Sometime after being accompanied by Jen and Amaura.)

(Mew and the others are now on an island where it has a reputation for having super sized Pokemon.)

(As of now, the group are now looking at a map of the island called Fairchild Island.)

(Tracey reads the map and says.)

Tracey: "It says on the map that this island's supposed to be full of Pidgeot and Rhydon."

Mew and Tomo: "Cool,"

(Mew and Tomo comment.)

Tracey: "And they're bigger than usual,"

(Tracey adds.)

Misty: "How come?"

(Misty asks.)

Tracey: "There are lots of fruit trees around here, so there must be a lot to eat here,"

(Tracey answers.)

Jen: "I hope so,"

(Jen says.)

(Amaura nods her head in reply.)

(Later, the group are now exploring the island.)

(They walk up the path and soon find a basket full of fruit in the middle of the road.)

(Pikachu and Eevee cheer.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika! Eev! (Lookie!)

Tomo: "Wow! A fruit basket right in the middle of the road!"

(Tomo shouts in excitement.)

(Soon, Tomo along with Jen, Amaura, Meloetta, Skwovet, Pikachu, and Eevee rush to the fruit.)

(But Misty shouts.)

Misty: "Hold it! Come back here!"

(The group quickly rewinds themselves back to where they start.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "Don't you think it's just a little bit suspicious that a basket filled with fruit just happens to be sitting in the middle of the road waiting for us to come up and eat it?"

(Tomo and Jen then look at each other.)

(Then Tomo says.)

Tomo: "I guess so."

Jen: "Maybe,"

(Jen replies.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika," (It's possible.)

(Pikachu says.)

Mew: "I have to agree. This has to be a trap,"

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "It does kinda seem like some trick Team Rocket would try to play."

(Tracey says.)

(Misty soon points out.)

Misty: "Look! There's plenty of fruit right there!"

(Everyone looks to see an Apple Tree.)

Misty: "That looks safe enough,"

(Misty says.)

(Soon the group begins to approach the tree.)

Tomo: "I guess you're right,"

(Tomo says.)

(Suddenly, everyone falls into a pit when they reach the tree.)

(Soon an apple falls out of the tree and hits Mew's head.)

Mew: "Ow!"

(Mew yelps.)

(Mew picks the apple and looks curious.)

(When she tries to bite it, she realizes the apple isn't real.)

Mew: "This is as hard as a rock!"

(Mew comments.)

(Then they hear a familiar voice.)

Jessie: Prepare for trouble, you fell for our pit!

James: Of all of our tricks, this is my favorite!

(Then Jessie jumps off of the tree.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

(Then James jumps from the tree.)

James: To unite all people within our nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: JESSIE!

James: JAMES!

Jessie: Team Rocket, Blast off at the speed of Light!

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight!

Meowth: MEOWTH! Dat's right!

Misty: "Team Rocket!"

(Misty says, annoyed.)

(Jen asks.)

Jen: "Are they always like this?

(Mew sighs and says.)

Mew: "Yes. Yes they are."

(James laughs and says.)

James: "You fell for the fruit! This is the real stuff!"

(And eats an apple.)

Jessie: "We knew you'd suspect the basket in the road, so we cleverly used reverse psychology and dug our little hole right near the apple tree,"

(Jessie adds.)

Meowth: "And you fell for it!"

(Meowth adds.)

Tomo: "We should've taken that fruit basket."

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "Can't believe Team Rocket used a double trick on us."

(Mew adds.)

Misty: "WE can worry about that later! Figure out some way to get out of here!"

(Misty shouts.)

(Then Meowth shouts.)

Meowth: "Get Pikachu and Eevee!"

(Jessie throws her Pokeball.)

Jessie: "Go, Arbok!"

(James does the same.)

James: "Go, Weezing!"

(With that, both Pokemon come out of their Pokeballs.)

(Mew turns to Pikachu and Eevee.)

Mew: "Take care of them, guys!"

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika! Eev! (You got it!)

(Pikachu and Eevee reply.)

(Then Mew shouts.)

Mew: "Go!"

(Pikachu and Eevee leap out of the pit hole.)

(Then they both unleash their Thunderbolt, but Team Rocket brings out some devices to block the attack.)

Meowth: "This may come as a big shock to you, but these patent pending devices protect us from your electric attacks! So you might as well save your energy, you little rats!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then, Pikachu and Eevee land on the ground.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Arbok, Poison Sting attack!"

(Arbok performs the attack and lands on both of them.)

(Then James calls out.)

James: "Okay, Weezing, Poison Gas attack!"

(Weezing unleashes the gas blinding them both.)

(When the smoke clears, Pikachu and Eevee become a little dizzy.)

(Then Meowth launches at them with two weird clamps with leashes attached to them.)

Meowth: "I gotcha!"

(Then put the two ends around Pikachu and Eevee's body.)

(Then place another end on himself.)

(Meowth chuckles.)

Meowth: "Now we're locked together and you can't get away no matter what!"

(Jessie and James rush over and pick up Pikachu and Eevee.)

Jessie and James: "Away!"

(Then run off with the two Pokemon with Meowth in tow, leaving Mew and the others trapped in the pit.)

(Luckily, the group is able to climb out of it.)

Misty: "What do we do?"

(Misty asks.)

(Mew rushes over.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Soon, they see Team Rocket riding on the balloon.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee! I'll save you!

(Then Mew rushes after them)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Mew! Wait for us!"

(however Mew is busy giving chaise.)

Mew: "Don't you worry, Pikachu, Eevee! We're on our way!"

(Meowth evilly laughs.)

Meowth: "Now we got ya!"

(Pikachu and Eevee decide to give them the Thunderbolt attack.)

(but Team Rocket uses the devices to block the attack again.)

(Meowth laughs.)

Meowth: "With these, we don't get shocked! And with this, you don't get away."

Jessie: "You two are stuck together!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "From now on, wherever Meowth goes, Pikachu and Eevee go,"

(James adds.)

Meowth: "Like my shadows!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then Team Rocket laughs in their triumph.)

(However, Pikachu and Eevee are not amused.)

Jessie: "Let's take Pikachu and Eevee straight to the boss!"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "Up, up, and away!"

(Meowth says, and points forward.)

(However, Team Rocket sees something in the sky.)

(They panic to see a giant Pidgeot flying down towards them.)

(It swoops in and snatches Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth, causing Meowth to drop his device in the process.)

Meowth: "My shock protectors!"

(Meowth screams as he's being carried off.)

Meowth: "Just my luck! As soon as I catch you, I wind up getting caught by a giant Pidgeot!"

(Meowth says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika." (I can see that.)

(Pikachu says.)

(Eevee angrily glares at Meowth.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (You and your big mouth!)

Meowth: "I bet this thing is taking us back to its nest for a tasty little lunch and I don't mean as guests."

(Meowth says.)

(Then turns to Pikachu.)

Meowth:: "Can't you do something Pikachu?"

(Then Pikachu uses a Thunderbolt, but it zaps Eevee and Meowth instead.)

Meowth: "Not me, da Pidgeot."

(Meowth clarifies.)

(Then Eevee says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee," (Let's do it together.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Good idea.)

(Pikachu says.)

(Pikachu and Eevee use the Thunderbolt again, and shock both Meowth and the giant Pidgeot.)

(That forces the giant bird Pokemon to drop them.)

(Meowth then grabs Pikachu and Eevee and says.)

Meowth: "Oh no! I'm not gonna be da one ta break your fall, Pikachu!"

(Soon, the three begin fighting as they turn each other over, hoping one will break their fall.)

(By the time they hit the ground, Pikachu and Eevee come out on top.)

(Squished, Meowth asks.)

Meowth: "Why am I always da undercat?"

(Later, Meowth, Pikachu and Eevee are trying to go in the opposite direction.)

(but can't go far because they're bound together.)

Meowth: "Dis is da way we're gonna go!"

(Meowth struggles.)

(Then Pikachu says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Unlock this thing!)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (Yeah, let us out!)

(Eevee adds.)

Meowth: "You want me to unlock this thing?"

(Meowth questions.)

(Then says with a smug face.)

Meowth: "Well, unfortunately for you, Jessie is the only one who has the key."

(Then Pikachu and Eevee give Meowth another Thunderbolt.)

(Meanwhile…)

(Holding the key, Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Well, at least we know Pikachu and Eevee can't get away from Meowth.

James: "Maybe we'll get lucky and Meowth will be able to figure out a way to bring Pikachu and Eevee back to us."

(James says.)

(Then Jessie questions.)

Jessie: "Do you really think Meowth is capable of doing that?"

(They soon turn their heads away in the same direction.)

Jessie and James: "No way."

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "We're going to have to find Meowth and Pikachu and Eevee ourselves."

(They turn their head away again and nod their heads.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Wherever Meowth is…"

James: "Pikachu and Eevee sure to follow!"

(James adds.)

(Just then, they hear Mew's voice.)

Mew: "Hey, you two!"

(Jessie and James look to see Mew and the others standing in front of them.)

(Misty demands.)

Misty: "What did you do with Pikachu and Eevee?"

(Meloetta, Skwovet, Amaura, Smeargle, and Stufful are ready to attack, causing Jessie and James to panic.)

(Jessie screams.)

Jessie: "Time out! Time out! The Pikachu and Eevee we stole from you got stolen!"

Mew: "What do you mean stolen?"

(Mew asks in shock)

(And so, Jessie and James explain to them what happened.)

Mew: "So a giant Pidgeot grabbed Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth while they were both still locked together?"

(Mew asks, shocked.)

Jessie: "You got it,"

(Jessie says.)

Tracey: "Pidgeot, huh?"

(Tracey says.)

(Then Jessie and James hop in the balloon.)

Jessie: "We'd love to stay and chat, but we've got Pokémon to find. Look for them if you like, but don't get your hopes up,"

(Jessie says.)

(Then the balloon takes off.)

Jessie: "I'm sure we'll spot them first from up here!"

(Jessie calls out.)

(Misty turns to Mew.)

Misty: "We can't let them win, Mew!"

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "If we all work together, we can find Pikachu and Eevee first!"

Jen: "But we don't even know where to start to look,"

(Jen says.)

Tomo: "She's right. The island is so big, and there are big Rhydon and Pidgeot around here."

(Tomo says.)

(Then Mew has an idea.)

Mew: "Misty, Tracey, what about your Marills?"

Misty: "Good idea!"

(Misty says, and brings out her Pokeball.)

(Then Tracey gets out his Pokeball.)

Tracey: "Leave that to us."

(Then they both throw their Pokeball and call out.)

Misty and Tracey: "Go Marill!"

(With that, both Marill come out of their Pokeballs.)

(Then Tracey says.)

Tracey: "Marill, we need you to listen to a giant Pidgeot."

Misty: "We need to find Pikachu and Eevee,"

(Misty says.)

(Both Marill agree and listen very carefully.)

(And soon enough, it leads Mew and the others to a giant rock with a nest on top.)

Tracey: "It looks like there's a giant Pidgeot's nest up there, Mew."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "I'll see,"

(Mew says, and begins to climb the rock.)

(But Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Mew, maybe it's too dangerous!"

Mew: "Maybe it is, but I gotta find Pikachu and Eevee no matter what!"

(Mew says, and climbs up the rock.)

(Meanwhile, Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth walk through the forest.)

(until they come to a split in the road.)

(Pikachu and Eevee go off in one direction while Meowth goes in the other.)

(However, when they try, they're unable to because they're bound together.)

(Soon, the three begin to argue.)

(Meowth angrily turns to the two.)

Meowth: "What are you trying ta do?! Kill me?! I've had 'bout enough of you, now dis is de way we're going an' dat's dat!"

(Pikachu and Eevee charge up for another attack.)

(But Meowth reconciles before they can let the attack loose.)

Meowth: "Okay! Okay! We'll try it your way. But I don't see why I don't get to decide where we go."

(Pikachu lets out some sparks, causing Meowth to reconcile once again.)

Meowth: "Okay! Okay! You decide! I'll go wherever you want to go, just don't shock me!"

(Suddenly, the three get their bound caught by a tree, preventing them from moving.)

Meowth: "All you have to do is come around to this side!"

(Meowth angrily says.)

(Then Pikachu charges another attack.)

(But Meowth quickly agrees.)

Meowth: "Alright! Alright! Alright! Don't get excited! I'll come around to your side!"

(Then Meowth does just that.)

Meowth: "There. How's that?"

(Meowth replies.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu, (That's better.)

(Pikachu sternly says with a frown.)

Meowth: "Pikachu's in charge now,"

(Meowth says, feeling defeated.)

(Then Meowth has an idea in his mind.)

Meowth in [mind]: "I know! I'll pull a fast one on Pikachu and Eevee! I'll act like I'm being nice and lead them straight to the boss!"

(Then Meowth day dreams of Pikachu and Eevee in a cage and being stroked by Giovani, while Persian sulks behind the chair.)

Meowth in [mind]: "The boss will love me for this!"

(Meowth says in thought.)

(Meowth snaps back to reality and says to Pikachu.)

Meowth: "Pikachu, you're the boss, buddy. And just to prove to you that I want us to be Pokémon pals, I'm gonna lead you right back to those twerpy little friends of yours. Okay? Come on, my Pik-amigo! And Eevee too!"

(However, Pikachu and Eevee suspect something is off and they both shock Meowth again.)

(Meowth weakly asks.)

Meowth: "Something wrong, you guys?"

Pikachu: "Pika Pika! Pikachu! Pikachu!" (Don't play nice with me! I know you only want to take me to Jessie and James!)

(Pikachu angrily says.)

Meowth: "Oh. So you saw through my plan, did you?"

(Meowth says.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pi/Eev" (Yes.)

(They both reply.)

Meowth: "I guess I'll have to do better next time."

(Meowth says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Can't fool us.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee?" (You think we're idiots or something?)

(Meanwhile, Mew reaches the top of the rock and walks to the nest, but finds that it's empty.)

Mew: "Aw man, Pikachu and Eevee are not up here!"

(Mew says, frustrated.)

(Soon, the Pidgeot owner of the nest flies in and is not happy with Mew's intrusion.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pidgeot, sorry to intrude, but I want to ask if you know what happened to Pikachu and Eevee!"

(However, the Pidgeot dives down towards Mew, flies over her, and knocks her all the way off the rock and back to the ground.)

(Everyone exclaims in shock.)

Everyone: "Mew! Are you alright?!"

Mew: "Yeah, I'm okay,"

(Mew answers sitting up.)

Misty: "Were Pikachu and Eevee up there?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "No. The nest was empty,"

(Mew answers.)

(Mew then walks off.)

(Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Mew, where are you going?"

Mew: "To find Pikachu and Eevee."

(Mew says, and walks to the forest alone.)

(The others however, are deeply concerned.)

Tracey: "This must be hard, I know how much Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee care about each other."

(Tracey says.)

Misty: "Eevee has been with Mew for years, and Pikachu's the first Pokémon Mew ever had from Professor Oak,, and if I know Mew, he'll keep looking until he finds Pikachu and Eevee, even if it takes forever."

(Misty says.)

Then Togepi and Pichu express their concern.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "And I'd do the same for Togepi.

(Mew continues to walk around as she calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee! Where are you, Pikachu?! Eevee?! PIKACHU! EEVEE! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

(Meanwhile, Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth are walking up a grassy hill.)

(Suddenly, Pikachu and Eevee stop in front of a rock.)

Meowth: "Why are we stopping here?"

(Meowth asks.)

(Then Pikachu and Eevee walk away from the rock.)

(Pikachu says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika." (Nevermind, Meowth.)

Meowth: "What? What is it? Tell me,"

(Meowth says.)

Pikachu: "Pika" (I think I smell some Pokémon nearby!)

(Pikachu says.)

Meowth: "You say you can smell Pokémon?"

(Meowth says, confused.)

(He sniffs the area and says.)

Meowth: "Yeah, well, I don't smell anything."

(Soon, Meowth realizes and screams.)

Meowth: "I just remembered! I don't have a nose!"

(Suddenly, they hear loud rumbling footsteps, and something appears behind Meowth.)

(Eevee calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee!"(Look out!)

Meowth then looks behind him to see one of the island's giant Rhydon.)

(Pikachu and Eevee try to move, but Meowth is too scared to move.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Come on, Meowth!)

(Pikachu calls out.)

Meowth: "My head says to run, but my legs ain't listening,"

(Meowth says, petrified and his legs are shaking as Rhydon attacks.)

(Pikachu and Eevee quickly move Meowth out of the way in time.)

(Pikachu and Eevee rush up the hill.)

Pikachu: "Pika?" (Meowth?)

(Pikachu asks.)

(Meowth climbs up and says.)

Meowth: "Thanks, pal. That was a close call."

(But Rhydon begins the chase.)

Meowth: "Run for it!"

(Meowth panics.)

(They try to run in different directions, but knock each other over as Rhydon closes in.)

(Then sends them all flying.)

Meowth: "I have a feeling this ain't over,"

(Meowth panics.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (I do, too.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Me three!)

(Eevee says.)

(Soon, Rhydon charges towards them, and the three are forced to run.)

(Meowth ends up falling behind as Rhydon continues its pursuit.)

(Pikachu and Eevee stop when they come to a cliff, but Meowth runs into them and they fall to the ground.)

(They quickly get up to hear Rhydon continue after them.)

Meowth: "I can't run very much longer!"

(Meowth says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (We've got no choice!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (Even though our attacks won't work on it!)

(Eevee says.)

Meowth: "But if that thing catches up with us, we're goners!"

(Meowth panics.)

(Soon, all three are cornered.)

(Then Pikachu and Eevee step up.)

Pikachu: "Pika. Pika Pikachu!" (Meowth, we're gonna battle Rhydon!)

Meowth: "What do you mean we're gonna battle Rhydon?! We can't win!"

(Meowth panics.)

(Then Eevee says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (I don't think we have much of a choice!)

(Pikachu and Eevee then send their Thunderbolt at Rhydon, slowing it down.)

(Yet, it's not stopping it completely as it withstands the attack and stomps it out.)

(Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "Electric attacks won't work against it! Its skin doesn't conduct electricity!"

(Then Pikachu says.)

Pikachu: "Pika! Pika Pikachu!" (If you get it's mouth open, I'll stop it!)

Meowth: "If I get it's mouth open, you'll stop it?"

(Meowth questions.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu,"(That's the plan.)

(Pikachu says.)

(Rhydon continues to charge towards them.)

Meowth: "Okay, here goes!"

(Meowth says in fright.)

(And with that, all three leap over Rhydon and get on its back.)

Meowth: "I'll try a tickle attack,"

(Meowth begins to tickle Rhydon.)

(Rhydon begins laughing with its mouth wide open.)

(That allows Pikachu and Eevee to send Thunderbolt into its throat, knocking it out.)

(Meowth laughs and says.)

Meowth: "Now I guess Rhydon knows it's a lot safer to just keep its big mouth shut! Too bad!"

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (You said it!)

(Pikachu says.)

Meowth: "We did it!"

(Meowth happily says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (Sure did.)

(Eevee says.)

(Soon, Mew and the others come by the area.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

Tomo: "Pikachu!"

(Tomo calls out.)

Jen: "Eevee!"

(Jen calls out.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Pikachu! Eevee! Where are you?!

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Tracey turns to the two Marill.)

Tracey: "How's it going, Marill? Have you had any luck picking up Pikachu's voice yet?"

(Suddenly, Togepi and Pichu notice something that gets them excited.)

Misty: "What's the matter?"

(Misty asks.)

(Soon, the group spots three sets of footprints.)

Mew: "Hey. This looks like Pikachu and Eevee's footprints,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "And look at those!"

(Misty says.)

Tracey: "They must be Meowth's."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Come on!"

(Mew says.)

(The group follows the trachs where the three Pokemon head off to.)

(and soon find Rhydon's food prints and follow them to where they fall.)

Tracey: "Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth must've run to the edge. And from the looks of these prints, a Rhydon was chasing them."

(Tracey says.)

Misty: "Pikachu and Eevee wouldn't stand a chance if something that big used its Tackle attack!"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Neither will Meowth,"

(Tomo says.)

(Suddenly, the group hears something and looks to see Mew sliding down the cliff.)

(Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Mew, what are you doing?"

Mew: "Please just be alright, Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Mew says in concern.)

(Meanwhile, overhead, Jessie and James continue their search from the air.)

(Jessie yawns.)

Jessie: "Any sign of Meowth, Pikachu, and Eevee yet?"

James: "Nothing,"

(James says.)

Jessie: "Well, they couldn't have gotten very far on Meowth's brain power."

(Jessie says.)

(Later that night, Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth are still walking and are starting to get tired and hungry.)

(With teary eyes, Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Are you as hungry as me?"

Pikachu: "Pikachu. (Yes, I am.)

(Pikachu answers.)

(Eevee feels the same.)

Eevee: "Eevee." (Me too.)

(Soon, the group comes across a tree with a single apple.)

Meowth: "Look! An apple!"

(Meowth shouts in excitement.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika! Eev!" (We're saved!)

(Pikachu and Eevee cheer.)

(All three begin to dash for it.)

Meowth: "Out of my way, Pikachu! I'm the one who saw it first! That apple belongs to me!"

(Meowth says.)

(He then leaps for the apple to cut it down with his claws.)

Meowth: "Here I…"

(However, Eevee pulls Meowth back, and Pikachu uses his electric jolt to the stem and Eevee catches it.)

Meowth: "You outsmarted me, buddies. You win,"

(Meowth says.)

(Pikachu and Eevee are able to eat, but see the desperate look on Meowth's face.)

(Pikachu takes the apple and splits it in three.)

(Then hands one piece to Meowth.)

Pikachu: "Pika." (Here.)

(With teary eyes, Meowth asks.)

Meowth: "You're sharing it with me?"

Pikachu: "Pika," (Of course.)

(Meowth takes the apple and says.)

Meowth: "Thank you. I'm not used to anyone being nice to me."

(Soon, all three enjoy their apple piece.)

Meowth: "Sweet, huh?"

(Meowth says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Really sweet.)

(Eevee says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika," (Very sweet.)

(Pikachu says.)

(In his thoughts, Meowth says.)

Meowth [in mind]: "Pikachu and Eevee sure have put me through a lot of trouble in the past."

(Meowth remembers all the times that Pikachu and Eevee meet off the battlefield.)

(Then remembers in his thoughts.)

Meowth [in mind]: "But then again, it was always following that little twerp's orders. This Pikachu and Eevee might not really be such a bad Pokémon after all. Then again, the kid, Mew, isn't bad either, especially the times that she helped me."

(Then Meowth remembers the time when Mew was actually nice to him, and helped him learn a few new moves.)

(Then Meowth says to the two.)

Meowth: "You know, guys, if we met under different circumstances, we might've turned out to be friends. Maybe you and your trainer, Mew, could join Team Rocket and we could be partners and work together, cause I think we'd make a great team, don't you?"

(Meowth looks to notice Pikachu and Eevee are asleep.)

Meowth: "Well, I can dream, can't I?"

(Meowth says, and lies down in his sleep.)

(The next day…)

(Meowth yawns and wakes up.)

Meowth: "Good sleep."

(Meowth, Pikachu, and Eevee wake up as well.)

(Suddenly, the three see another giant Pidgeot flying in towards them.)

(The three quickly run away.)

Meowth: "It's back again!"

(Meowth screams.)

(Suddenly, Rhydon runs towards them.)

(Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "That's a Rhydon right ahead of us! And a Pidgeot behind!"

(Both Pokemon approach both of them and ready to attack.)

Meowth: "What are we gonna do?!"

(Meowth panics.)

(Both Pokemon continue to charge towards them.)

Meowth: "This looks bad!"

(Meowth panics.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Oh no!)

(Pikachu panics.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (We're doomed!)

(Eevee screams in fear.)

(Suddenly, Mew leaps from the cliff as she calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Pikachu and Eevee happily cheer.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika Pi! Eevee!" (Mew!)

(At the same time, Jessie and James float in.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "There's Meowth, Pikachu, and Eevee!"

Meowth: "Hooray!"

(Meowth cheers.)

(Mew throws her Pokeball and calls out.)

Mew: "Snorlax, go!"

(With that, Snorlax comes out of his Pokeball and into Rhydon's path.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Snorlax, don't let Rhydon get Pikachu and Eevee!"

(Snorlax hears Mew and stops Rhydon in its path while Pidgeot flies towards Jessie and James.)

(Jessie throws her Pokeball and calls out.)

Jessie: "Go, Arbok!"

(Arbok comes out of its Pokeball.)

Jessie: "Arbok, use Bite attack, now!"

(Jessie calls out.)

(Arbok and Pidgeot collide head first while Snorlax and Rhydon continue to wrestle.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Snorlax, use your Mega Punch, now!"

(Snorlax changes the attack, and Snorlax sends Rhydon flying with one punch.)

(Meanwhile, Arbok has Pidgeot locked in its Wrap attack and then bites Pidgeot on the neck.)

(That forces Pidgeot to retreat as James and Jessie watch on and land the balloon.)

(Jessie chuckles.)

Jessie: "Bye-bye, birdy!"

(Mew walks to Snorlax and says.)

Mew: "Great job, Snorlax!"

(and calls him back into his Pokeball.)

(Misty and the others arrive as well.)

Meowth: "Jessie! James!"

(Meowth happily cheers and rushes towards his teammates, dragging Pikachu and Eevee with them.)

(Meowth says in relief.)

Meowth: "Thanks a lot for coming to find me. For a while there, I thought you didn't care about me!"

(But Jessie says.)

Jessie: "We were really trying to catch that Pikachu and Eevee, and you were just part of the package, Meowth."

(Meowth is in shock.)

James: "Sorry to burst your bubble,"

(James says.)

Meowth: "The painful truth,"

(Meowth says with teary eyes.)

(Pikachu and Eevee quickly rush to Mew, dragging Meowth with them.)

(Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "Hey! Wait! Stop! Ow!"

Pikachu: "Pika Pi!" (Mew!)

(Pikachu calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (Mew!)

(Eevee happily cheers.)

(Mew happily calls out.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(The trainer and Pokemon embrace each other.)

Mew: "I'm so happy to see you! Are you both okay?"

(Mew says, relief.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (We're just fine.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eev Eevee," (Just a few bruises, but we're fine.)

(Eevee says.)

Misty: "You're finally back together."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, Pikachu and Eevee are nearly yanks away.)

(and it's revealed that James is pulling Meowth to get the two Pokemon.)

(Jessie cheers.)

Jessie: "You got it, now, James! Just don't let go!"

Mew: "Let go of Pikachu and Eevee!"

(Mew angrily says.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Let go!)

(Pikachu calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Let us go!)

(Eevee calls out.)

(Meowth calls out.)

Meowth: "Cut it out! Let go of me!"

Jessie: "You can pull as hard as you want, twerp, but as long as I have this key, those two are sticking together."

(Jessie says, and holds out the key.)

Mew: "The key?"

(Mew replies.)

(Then gets out her Pokeball.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur, go!"

(and throws it.)

(The Pokeball hits James on the head, forcing him to let go of Meowth and Bulbasaur comes out of his Pokeball.)

(Jessie then throws her Pokeball and calls out.)

Jessie: "Arbok, Poison Sting!"

(Arbok comes out of its Pokeball as well.)

Mew: "Go, Pikachu!"

(Mew calls out.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Roger!)

(Pikachu says.)

(Pikachu then leaps high in the air with a boost from Mew, and gives him a Thunderbolt, knocking it out.)

Meowth: "Ha! I could've told you you were in for a shock,"

(Meowth says with laughter.)

(Then James throws his Pokeball and calls out.)

James: "Go, Victreebel!"

(but then chomps down on Arbok.)

(James panics.)

James: "This is a disaster!"

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "Okay, Bulbasaur, Vine Whip!"

(Bulbasaur then uses Vine Whip and strikes at Victreebel and Arbok, sending them flying into their trainers.)

(Then Jessie is hit by Arbok headfirst, and the key goes flying into Mew's hand.)

(Mew catches the key.)

Mew: "I got it!"

(Mew uses the key to free Pikachu and Eevee along with Meowth.)

Mew: "You're finally free, guys,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Meowth.)

Mew: "So are you, Meowth!"

Meowth: "Anchors away!"

(Meowth panics and runs away.)

(Then Meowth leaps into the balloon as it lifts off.)

(Meowth laughs and says.)

Meowth: "We've still got one more little surprise tucked away in our basket!"

(From the bottom of the balloon basket, a cannon appears.)

Misty: "I can take care of that! Go, Staryu!"

(Misty says, and calls out her Pokeball.)

(However, the Pokemon to come out is Psyduck, making the group become surprised by Misty's blunder.)

Misty: "That's Psyduck!"

(Misty panics.)

(Then says.)

Misty: "Okay, Psyduck, send Team Rocket flying with a Confusion attack!"

(However, Psyduck doesn't do anything. Then the cannon powers for an attack.)

(Misty panics.)

Misty: "Hurry!"

(James holds the targeting device.)

James: "Get ready to fire."

(The cannon has nearly enough power to fire.)

(Mew quickly turns to Misty.)

Mew: "Misty, maybe Togepi can help."

Misty: "Okay!"

(Misty says.)

(Then lifts Togepi out.)

Misty: "Togepi, use Metronome!"

(And with that, Togepi moves his little arms, and the attack destroys the balloon and sends Team Rocket flying.)

Team Rocket: "We're blasting off again!"

(Team Rocket screams as he flies off.)

Tomo: "Now that's an attack,"

(Tomo comments.)

Jen: "Go Togepi,"

(Jen says.)

(Misty giggles and says.)

Misty: "You did a good job."

(Togepi is happy to see his mommy happy.)

(Mew kneels to Pikachu and Eevee.)

Mew: "Eevee, Pikachu. I'm so glad you're back."

(Pikachu and Eevee happily cheer.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika Pi!/ Eevee Eev! (Mew!)

(And the trainer and Pokemon embrace each other with glee.)

Misty: "It's great to see those three back together again. Isn't it, Tracey?"

(Misty says.)

Tracey: "Yeah,"

(Tracey says.)

Jen: "It's very sweet,"

(Jen says.)

(And so, Mew, Piakchu, and Eevee are reunited.)

(They are glad to be together again.)

(Meanwhile, on the other part of the Island.)

(They're both still a bit bruised from being blasted off.)

Jessie: "I am simply famished,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Not me. I'm just hungry."

(James says.)

(Soon, Meowth spots an apple in the tree.)

Meowth: "Hey, look up there!"

(Jessie and James look up.)

James: "An apple!"

(James says.)

Meowth: "Oh, baby!"

(Meowth happily says.)

(But James kicks him away from it.)

James: "Paws off!"

(Then Jessie pushes James' head into the ground with her foot.)

Jessie: "We all have to share this apple! I'll go first,"

(Jessie says, and takes the apple.)

(Then she begins to eat it.)

Meowth: "Maybe they never should've found me."

(Meowth says to himself.)

(Jessie drops the apple core on Meowth's head.)

Meowth: "Ow."

(He sighs and says.)

Meowth: "I'm starting to kinda miss Pikachu and Eevee."
