Chapter 10: The Little Big Horn

(Having Snubbull as a companion of the group.)

(Mew and her friends are enjoying a leafy green oasis right in the middle of a busy metropolis.)

(Misty lets out a sight.)

Misty: "It must be nice to live here in the city and have such a beautiful park so nearby."

Brock: "Yeah, and it's pretty nice for us, too. We can cut through here and get right to the center of town,"

(Brock says.)

(Suddenly, Pikachu and Eevee sense something moving in the bushes close by.)

(Mew notices and asks.)

Mew: "What is it guys?"

(Mew and the others turn their heads to see something moving towards them.)

(Misty says.)

Misty: "Don't move! It'll see us!"

Tomo: "With eyes that big, it'll see us anyway,"

(Tomo says.)

(Mew squints her eyes and says.)

Mew: "Wait a minute, those aren't eyes. Those look like antlers."

Brock: "Mew's right. Take another look, guys,"

(Brock says.)

Jen: "Hmm, I think you're right. Those look like antlers,"

(Jen says.)

Snubbull: "Snubbull," (I agree.)

(Snubbull replies.)

(Soon, the head the antlers are attached to pops out of the bushes, revealing to be a Stantler.)

Tomo: "It's a Stantler,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "Let's see what Dexter says,"

(Mew says, and takes out her Pokedex.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Stantler, the Big Horn Pokemon. A Normal Type. The eye-like shapes at the base of its horns produce a pleasant odor that has a bewildering effect on anyone who smells it. It can also create startling, realistic illusions by shaking its horns. Stantler form horns and live in mountainous terrain."

Misty: "Wow. I wonder what it's doing so close to the city. Especially all alone,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "You're right. From the size of it. I think that's a baby Stantler,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Yeah. It probably got lost,"

(Brock says.)

(He crouches down and puts down his backpack, as he says.)

Brock: "Easy, now, pal. These little ones scare pretty easily, so to get close to one, you have to act like a Stantler so it thinks you're one of them."

(He then scratches the back of his left ear with his left foot.)

Brock: "You have to use Stantler psychology."

(The baby Stantler looks confused at Brock's behavior.)

Brock: "Stay, still. I'm a, Stantler, too,"

(Brock says as he crawls closer to it.)

(Brock then licks his hand with his hand with his face as the shocked and bewildered Stantler begins to back off.)

Mew: "Brock, you're scaring it,"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika/Eev," (He is.)

(Pikachu and Eevee reply.)

Misty: "He's definitely scaring me,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Brock begins to scratch his back against the tree.)

Brock: "It may seem a little stand-offish, but I think we're developing an instinctual connection on a primal level!"

Mew: "Brock, you're being ridiculous right now,"

(Mew says.)

(She then gently approaches the little Stantler.)

(She kneels down gently and says.)

Mew: "Hello little guy, are you okay? Are you lost?"

(Just then, Brock and Mew notice a welt on Stantler's front left leg.)

Brock: "It looks like its leg is hurt!"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "And it looks really bad. We need to fix it right away,"

(Mew says.)

(Brock then sits down and gets out a packet of Pokemon food.)

(He pours some food pellets into his hand.)

Brock: "Come on. Chow time,"

(Brock says, and presents it to Stantler.)

Brock: "You're gonna like this."

(A little nervous, Stantler begins to sniff the food.)

Brock: "Come on, Brock can tell if you're hungry,"

(Brock says.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "It's okay. You don't need to be afraid."

(Stantler approaches wearily as Brock chows down on a food pellet, and says.)

Brock; "Tasty."

(Suddenly, Stantler's horns begin to emit an aroma.)

Brock: "Hey, don't make me eat this all by my…"

(Brock says, but stops to smell the aroma.)

Tomo: "That smells good,"

(Tomo says.)

(Soon, Stantler is nuzzling up to Brock and Mew.)

Brock: "See? My Stantler imitation worked after all, didn't it, little buddy?"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Somehow, I doubt it,"

(Mew whispered to Stantler.)

(Soon, everyone else spots something behind Brock, Mew, and Stantler, causing them to panic.)

(Brock continues to do his so-called 'imitation' to notice.)

(Tomo calls out.)

Tomo: "Hey, guys!"

(Brock shushes them.)

Brock: "Shh! Be quiet! We Stantler don't like loud noises!"

(Misty nervously says.)

Misty: "But, Brock. Look out!"

Jen: "Mew, behind you!"

(Jen cries out.)

(Brock and Mew turn back as a herd of angry looking Stantler appear.)

(Nervous, Brock says.)

Brock: "Just, stay calm."

(Soon, Stantler kicks its hoof back.)

Mew: "Uh oh. That's not a good sign,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "It's. It's…"

(Brock panics.)

Tomo: "It's an awful lot of Stantler antlers,"

(Tomo says, nervously.)

(Brock then cries out.)

Brock: "Let's get out of here!"

Mew: "Stantler Stamped!"

(Mew screams.)

(Brock and Mew runs away, everyone else quickly follow, and the angry Stantler herd.)

Brock: "The whole herd's after us because they must think we hurt their little baby!"

(Brock panics.)

(As the group runs away, the injured Stantler fawn limps away.)

(Later on, Mew and the others stop to catch their breath.)

Tomo: "I guess we outran em,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then asks.)

Tomo: "You think we're safe, guys?"

Skwovet: "Skwovet," (I guess.)

(Skwovet answers)

Brock: "Well, maybe, but they were right behind us a second ago and now they're nowhere in sight,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "You know what they say, out of sight, out of mind!"

(Misty says.)

(But then adds.)

Misty: "But, if you're not scared you are out of your mind."

Brock: "It's too bad. A few more minutes and I could've bandaged that Stantler's leg. Maybe when it finds its mother, she'll be able to take care of it,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "I hope so. I can tell the little guy was injured and scared,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, they hear something moving in the bushes.)

Tomo: "What now?"

(Tomo asks.)

Jen: "Maybe the little Stantler is back?"

(Jen suggests.)

Mew: "Or the herd?"

(Mew suggests.)

(Luckily, it's neither, it's Officer Jenny.)

Officer Jenny: "Is everyone alright over there?"

(Officer Jenny asks.)

(Brock quickly becomes love struck and happily says.)

Brock: "Of course everything's alright now that YOU'RE here, Officer Jenny! My friends just can't tell a Stantler from an angel!"

(Then Officer Jenny walks out to meet them.)

Brock: "A herd was here!"

(Brock adds.)

(Then Officer Jenny asks.)

Officer Jenny: "Would you mind coming with me?

Brock: "Oh, boy! Where shall we go Officer? For a romantic stroll in this beautiful urban oasis?"

(Brock asks, excited.)

(But Officer Jenny says.)

Officer Jenny: "You don't get it. I'd like you to come down to the station so you can fill out a report."

Brock: "Great! But it sure is an unusual first date!"

(Brock says.)

(Mew and Misty shrug.)

Misty: "He doesn't have a clue,"

(Misty says.)

(Snubbull trunks to Amaura and asks.)

Snubbull: "Snubbull Snubbull?" (Is he always like this?)"

Amaura: "Amaur Amura Amura," (Yes, but don't worry, we've gotten used to it.)

(Amaura answers.)

(Later, at the police station, Officer Jenny explains.)

Officer Jenny: "Usually, that park is full of with families on vacation, but recently, out of nowhere, a huge herd of Stantler moved in and scared everybody off. Now no one wants to go anywhere near there."

Tomo: "That must be the same herd that chased us out,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "It's really strange cause Stantler usually live in mountains, don't they?"

(Just then Brock says.)

Brock: "I wonder. I may sound crazy, but maybe those Stantler weren't in the park after all!"

Jen: "Why do you say that?"

(Jen asks.)

Brock: "It's strange how that whole herd of Stantler disappeared without a trace,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Now that you've mentioned it. It's also strange how a herd of them mysteriously arrived without making a sound,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "If the herd was never here, then what were we running away from?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Suddenly, familiar voices appear, calling for help and crying in pain.)

Mew: "Oh no. Not again,"

(Mew says.)

(The screams are coming from Team Rocket as they scream.)

Team Rocket: "Stampede!"

(Soon, Mew and the others, including Officer Jenny hurry out to see Team Rocket running in terror.)

Misty: "Team Rocket. What's all the yelling for?"

(Misty asks.)

(Team Rocket stops and runs in place, and is still terrified.)

Jessie: If you want our advice it's prepare for trouble time!

James: And we strongly suggest you do it at double time!

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation!

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight!

Meowth: That's, right!

Mew: "How come you three are in such a big hurry?"

(Mew asks.)

(Jessie begins to explain.)

Jessie: "We overheard that there was a herd of Stantler living in the park."

James: "So we decided to catch them all and bring them back to the boss,"

(James adds.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "At first we just saw one, then from nowhere, a whole squad was breathing down our necks."

Misty: "That's the same thing that happened to us!"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "That's right. We end up seeing a baby Stantler in the park,"

(Mew says.)

Jen: "And then suddenly, a herd of them appeared out of nowhere and chased us,"

(Jen says.)

Brock: "The herd chased us and then just disappeared,"

(Brock says.)

(Team Rocket becomes puzzled by the last bit of Brock's sentence.)

James: "Yeah, what did happen to…"

(James says.)

(However, when Team Rocket turns around, the herd is gone.)

Jessie: "They're…"

(Jessie says, baffled.)

(James feels the same.)

James: "Gone."

Officer Jenny: "It's strange. The Stantler always disappear as quickly as they appear,"

(Officer Jenny says.)

(Suddenly, a Stantler horn peeks out of an alley and emits an aroma that all present smell it.)

(And suddenly, the herd appears again and begins charging in the streets, to the fright of Team Rocket.)

(Meowth panics.)

Meowth: "They're back!"

Jessie: "Is the chase on or off?! Why don't you make up your minds already?!"

(Jessie shouts.)

(Then James panics.)

James: "Come on!"

(Team Rocket then runs off.)

(Officer Jenny turns to the others.)

Officer Jenny: "Quick! Get inside or we'll get trampled!"

(Everyone then hurries inside , except for Mew and Brock.)

(The two then pay close attention to the herd.)

(Suddenly, they notice something off with the herd.)

(They see the Stantler running right through the poles.)

Brock: "Mew, are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

(Brock asks.)

(Then notices the Stantlers running through the buildings.)

Mew: "They're going right through the…"

(Mew says.)

(Then the two turn to each other and shout.)

Mew and Brock: "That's it!"

(In the police station, Jen calls out.)

Jen: "Mew! Brock! Hurry inside!"

(However, Brock and Mew ignore them and stand in the middle of the street.)

(They have their arms spread open as the stampede of Stantler charges toward them.)

(but they know that it's the only way for them to earn the little one's trust.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Stantler! You don't have to be afraid!"

Mew: "Don't be scared, Stantler, we're not here to hurt you!"

(Mew calls out.)

(In shock, Misty cries out.)

Misty: "Brock! Mew! What are you both doing?!

Tomo: "You'll get run over!"

(Tomo cries out.)

Jen: "Hurry back inside,"

(Jen calls out.)

(However, Mew and Brock refuse to move.)

(Brock then says.)

Brock: "Trust us."

Mew: "Don't be afraid,"

(Mew adds.)

(Everyone continues crying out to Mew and Brock, but they continue to ignore them.)

(Soon, the Stantler are at close range.)

(Brock and Mew scream.)

Brock and Mew: "STOP!"

(Then the Stantler herd ram right into them.)

(Misty cries out.)

Misty: "Oh no!"

(However, within the stampede, Mew and Brock, who have shield their eyes, appear to be fine.)

(They soon unshield their eyes, and see the herd of Stantler is nothing but an illusion.)

(And soon, they spot the baby Stantler limping towards them.)

Mew: "Yes,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "We were right,"

(Brock says.)

(Just then, the stampeding Stantler disappears before everyone's eyes, shocking everyone in the police station.)

(Everyone is baffled to see the herd is now disappearing, and soon, only the injured baby Stantler remains.)

(Seeing them gone, Brock and Mew rush to it's aid.)

(Brock kneels and pet the little Stantler.)

Brock: "It's okay."

Mew: "You were scared, weren't you?"

(Mew says.)

(The little Stantler is surprised to see the two being so friendly.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "But everything's alright now."

Brock: "We just want to be your friends,"

(Brock adds.)

(The Little Stantler soon understands that Brock and Mew can be trusted.)

(Sometime later, in the police station, Brock bandages up the Stantler injured leg as Mew comforts it.)

(Soon, Brock is already finished.)

Brock: "There. That should feel better."

(Little Stantler sits down on Brock's lap and nuzzles Brock.)

(Mew smiles and gently rubs little Stantler head.)

Misty: "Wow. Stantler not scared of you now, guys,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "You know. I think little Stantler can use some company,"

(Tomo says, and brings out his Pokeball.)

(Then tosses them.)

Tomo: "Come on out, Stantler, Wyrdeer."

(Soon, Stantler and Wyrdeer come out and see little Stantler.)

(Seeing the two make little Stantler feel more comfortable, but still like to be close to Mew and Brock.)

(Then Jen asks.)

Jen: "By the way, what happened to the rest of the Stantler?

Mew: "Turns out, there were no other Stantler out there, Jen,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Mew's right. This was the only one in the whole park,"

(Brock adds.)

Tomo: "It was?"

(Tomo asks.)

Brock: "Yep. This Stantler was alone and scared of us and of Team Rocket, so it used the scent of its horns to trick us all into thinking we saw a herd on the attack,"

(Brock explains.)

Misty: "I guess it worked. It sure fooled me,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Officer Jenny asks.)

Officer Jenny: "But how did you figure out that all those Stantler were an illusion and not a real stampede?"

Brock: "Well, as Mew and I were looking at them come at us, we noticed that some of the Stantler seemed to pass right through the light poles and the buildings,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "That little Stantler sure caused big trouble,"

(Misty replies.)

Mew: "Yeah, but it was lost and hurt, so it did the only thing it could do to protect itself from strangers. It instinctively created the illusion of a big herd because it was afraid we'd hurt it,"

(Mew explains.)

Officer Jenny: "Wow. You really do understand a lot about Pokemon, don't you, guys?"

(Officer Jenny says.)

Jen: "Mew is very good with Pokemon, and she is working hard to be a great trainer,"

(Jen says.)

Tomo: "And that's why Brock's going to be the greatest Pokemon Breeder ever,"

(Tomo says.)

Officer Jenny: "Is that what you're working towards?"

(Officer Jenny asks, to Brock.)

Brock: "Yes, and I feel a special connection with Pokemon. When I first saw this little one in the park, I tried to get closer to have a better look. That's when I saw the fear and loneliness in its eyes. I felt I knew how it felt, being so far away from its home and its family,"

(Brock explains.)

(Mew giggles.)

Mew: "And it doesn't look at it at first."

Brock: "Well, you and I have different ways of connecting from Pokemon, but we both know that Stantler is lost, hurt, and scared from being far from its home and family,"

(Brock says.)

Officer Jenny: "'Amazing. You figured all that out just by looking in Stantler eyes."

(Officer Jenny says.)

Brock: "I think you have to be able to sense things like that. You can never become a great breeder if you can't look a Pokemon in the eyes and not be able to tell how it feels and what it needs. But I still have a lot to learn,"

(Brock says.)

Officer Jenny: "It seems to me that you know almost everything there is to know about Pokemon already,"

(Officer Jenny says.)

Brock: "Not hardly,"

(Brock replies.)

(But Officer Jenny says.)

Officer Jenny: "I mean it. I can tell you have a way of sensing exactly what's in a Pokemon's heart."

Brock: "Well, maybe I can feel what's in a Pokemon's heart, but I.."

(Brock says, and gets close to Officer Jenny He takes her hands as his cheeks blush.)

Brock: "But I only wish you had the power to feel all the feelings I'm feeling in my heart Officer Jenny!"

Officer Jenny: "Huh?"

(Officer Jenny says, confused.)

(Misty then grabs Brock's ear and drags him away.)

Misty: "Let's go, Mr. Sensitive, before all those feelings of yours get hurt!"

(Mew turns to Stantler and smiles, and gently pets him.)

(Then Tomo's grown Stantler and Wyrdeer get acquainted with the little one.)

(Unknown to the group, Team Rocket is spying on Mew and the others, and have heard the entire conversation.)

(Shocked, Meowth says.)

Meowth: "I don't believe it! We've been swindled! Only one of them Stantler was real! The rest of them was just an illusion!"

Jessie: "Well, we all know that one is better than none, so I say we catch it for the boss,"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "But what are we gonna do if it tries to double-cross us again?"

(Meowth asks.)

(James answers with confidence.)

James: "It just so happens that I've acquired an anti-Stantler secret weapon."

Meowth: "Hey! Maybe you ain't as brainless as you look!"

(Meowth replies.)

James: "Right, I'm not as brainless as I…"

(James says, but hearing the comment, he says feeling offended.)

James: "well, at least I'm not as brainless as you are!"

(Jessie then asks.)

Jessie: "James. How did you happen to acquire this anti-Stantler secret weapon?"

James: "I used our remaining funds and bought it,"

(James answers)

(Meowth angrily says.)

Meowth: "Hey! What's the idea spending our dough?!"

Jessie: "How are we going to live without money?!"

(Jessie asks, just as mad.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Well, if we don't do something to make sure we bring the boss a rare Pokemon, we won't have to worry about living for very long!"

(Soon, Jessie and Meowth realize that James has a point.)

Jessie: "Maybe we could take out a loan,"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "Me-ouch!"

(Meowth replies.)

(Later in the night, the group stayed in the police station for the night.)

(Stantler sleeps under a blanket on Brock's lap while Mew sits next to them wrapped in a blanket.)

(Misty and the others lay on the couch.)

(Stantler and Wyrdeer stay close to keep little Stantler company.)

(Meanwhile, the other Pokemon are sleeping.)

Misty: "Stantler needed a rest,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Yeah, it must've gotten pretty tired wandering around that park for so long,"

(Brock says)

Tomo: "And making all those fake Stantler show up probably wore it out,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Jen suspects.)

Jen: "It must've gotten separated from the herd in the mountains when its leg got hurt and its family must be worried."

Mew: "You're right. I think its parents must be looking for it,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "Well, now that its leg is all healed, we can let it go tomorrow so it can get back to its herd."

Tomo: "Aren't you kinda tempted to keep it, Brock?"

(Tomo asks.)

Misty: "It does seem really attached to you, Brock,"

(Misty says.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "It's just looking for affection. The best place for this Stantler is back with its herd."

Mew: "I think Borck is right. This little Stantler probably misses its mother,"

(Mew adds.)

Brock: "Mew's right. It really wants its mother. And I guess that's a feeling anyone can understand,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "I think you can sense what's in a Pokémon's heart, Brock. Cause you've got a pretty good one, yourself,"

(Mew says.)

(Soon, everyone is fast asleep for the night.)

(The next day, Mew and her friends are heading up into the mountains.)

Mew: "This leads back to the mountains,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Brock turns to the little Stantler.)

Brock: "Okay, buddy, it's time to go back home."

(The little Stantler nuzzles Mew and then nuzzles Brock.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Stantler is saying thank you to both of us."

Brock: "Now remember to head straight to the mountain and don't wander around the city, alright,"

(Brock says.)

(Stantler feels a bit weary about leaving.)

Mew: "Don't worry Stantler, if you explore the mountain long enough, you'll be able to find your mom,"

(Mew says.)

(Stantler then begins to move forward to search for its mother.)

(Sure little Stantler is going to miss Mew and Brock aftering being so nice to it, but it really wants to return to its mom.)

Mew: "Bye Stantler,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Bye,"

(Brock says.)

(Meanwhile, up above, Team Rocket's balloon drifts overhead as they search for little Stantler.)

(Just then, Meowth spots the little Pokemon.)

Meowth: "Ahoy! Baby Stantler off the port bow!"

Jessie: "Great,"

(Jessie happily says.)

(Then James says.)

James: "Let's go get it."

(Later, Mew and her friends are walking through the park again.)

(Just then, Brock spots Team Rocket's balloon in shock.)

Brock: "Team Rocket!"

(In the forest, little Stantler continues on its way to the mountain, when it sees Team Rocket's balloon.)

(Meowth laughs.)

Meowth: "That Stantler don't stand a chance against us!"

Jessie: "Activate our secret weapon, James,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Right-o!"

(James says, and presses the button.)

(Little Stantler becomes scared to feel the ground shaking, until a mechanical Stantler appears before it.)

James: "Well, there it is. The Anti-Stantler number 7!"

(James announces.)

(Confused, Jessie asks.)

Jessie: "Number 7? What happened to the first six?"

James: "Unfortunately, there were a few expensive bugs to work out first,"

(James says.)

(Meowth says angrily.)

Meowth: "And I bet you exterminated our bank account to do it!"

James: "Well, it'll be worth it if we catch that Stantler for the boss,"

(James says.)

(Jessie asks.)

Jessie: "Exactly how does this thing work?"

James: "It happens to work exceedingly well, Jessie! Watch this!"

(James says, and presses the button.)

(Then the Anti-Stantler Number 7 opens its mouth, causing the little faun to get scared.)

(In defense, it begins emitting its illusion aroma.)

(Meowth notices.)

Meowth: "It's trying to use that illusion thing again."

(James chuckles and says.)

James: "Luckily, our secret weapon doesn't have any sense of smell."

(James presses another button to make the robot shoot out a net, and catches the little fawn before it can escape.)

Jessie: "Your secret weapon worked, James,"

(Jessie says, amazed.)

(Then asks.)

Jessie: "What's the next step?"

James: "We go down and get it!"

(James says.)

(Jessie and Meowth sigh.)

(Meowth then says.)

Meowth: "Next time, buy a secret weapon that knows how to fetch!"

(Meanwhile, Mew and the others rush to where they see the balloon, and head to Stantler's rescue.)

Misty: "Brock, Mew, you go on ahead! We'll catch up!"

(Misty says.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket has the balloon lowered and walk over to collect their prize.)

James: "Finally, success,"

(James says.)

(Then Jessie says.)

Jessie: "This'll make the perfect Poke-present for the boss."

(Little Stantler becomes scared and lets loose its aroma as it cries for help.)

(That drives Meowth to tears.)

Meowth: "Sounds to me like this little Stantler wants to see its mommy. What do you say, guys? Maybe we should let this one go free."

(James denies.)

James: "We can't show mercy, Meowth! We're the villains!"

Jessie: "Yeah, there's no room on Team Rocket for cry-babies,"

(Jessie says.)

(Meowth shakes off the tears.)

Meowth: "I ain't no cry-baby!"

(Stantler cries, and Meowth is in tears.)

Meowth: "It's just so sad."

(Then Meowth shakes it off.)

Meowth: "I ain't no cry-baby!"

(Stantler cries again, and Meowth goes into tears.)

Meowth: "That poor Stantler."

Jessie: "Meowth! Shape up cause we're shipping out!"

(Jessie says, snapping Meowth out of it.)

(Little Stantler cries out for help.)

(Suddenly, he hears Mew's voice.)

Mew: "Stantler!"

(Followed by Brock.)

Brock: "Stantler!"

(Then looks to see Mew and Brock running over to its rescue.)

Brock: "We're coming little buddy! We won't let them take you away!"

Mew: "Don't worry, we'll help you!"

(Mew says.)

(Annoyed, Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Here come those annoying kids!"

James: "This looks like a job for Super-Stantler!"

(James says, and maniacally laughs.)

James: "Bruhahahahaha!"

(With a press of a button, the eyes of the Stantler robot lights up.)

(Then the robot fires a bunch of cables that block Mew and Brock's away.)

Brock: "Come back here!"

(Brock calls out.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Let Stantler go!"

(Soon, Team Rocket flies away in the balloon.)

James: "Too late!"

(James calls out.)

(Jessie calls out.)

Jessie: "Toodle-oo, twerps!"

(Meowth turns to James and asks.)

Meowth: "We ain't leaving our secret weapon behind, are we?"

James: "We've got our Stantler, who needs it?"

(James answers.)

(Meowth sternly says.)

Meowth: "Ain't you ever heard of recycling! At least we could sell it for scrap!"

(Brock then throws his Pokeball and calls out.)

Brock: "Go, Onix!"

(With that, Onix comes out of the Pokeball.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Onix, Tackle attack!"

(Onix then performs Tackle Attack and the attack lands with full force.)

(Then Brock says.)

Brock: "Now, use your Bind attack!"

(Onix then performs the Bind Attack, and coils around the Anti-Stantler.)

(That causes it to crack and implode until it explodes.)

(Team Rocket watches in shock as their latest robot explodes.)

Meowth: "What a waste of dough,"

(Meowth comments.)

Brock: "Good work, Onix! Return!"

(Brock says, and calls Onix back into its Pokeball.)

(Then Mew and Brock pursue Team Rocket.)

Brock: "Come back here!"

(Brock calls out.)

(Then Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Let go of Stantler!"

(Little Stantler lets out a cry.)

(Soon, Misty and the others are able to catch up.)

Misty: "That sounds like Stantler,"

(Misty says.)

(The rest stop to see Team Rocket's balloon.)

(Up ahead, Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Eevee, Pikachu, Thunderbolt attack!"

(With that, Pikachu and Eevee perform Thunderbolt, but the attack is not high enough.)

Meowth: "What a switch! They're shocked and we ain't!"

(Meowth says.)

(Then James calls out.)

James: "Maybe your Pikachu and Eevee need an extension cord!"

(Brock and Mew continue the chase.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "Stantler!"

(Mew then calls out.)

Mew: "Heracross!"

(Then Heracross comes out of the Pokeball.)

(Mew then asks.)

Mew: "Heracross, use your horn to launch me to that net in the air."

(Heracross nods and let Mew stand on his horn.)

(Pikachu and Eevee hold on to Mew's shoulder.)

(Brock helps and says.)

Brock: "Alright, you're right on it. Aim!"

Mew: "Fire!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Heracross then launches Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee in the air.)

(Then Mew catches the net.)

Mew: "There we go,"

(Mew says.)

(Stantler lets out a cry.)

Mew: "Don't worry, Stantler. We'll get you out. Somehow,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, from out of the forest, another Stantler leaps out and cuts the net with its antlers, and cuts the basket from the balloon in half.)

(Soon, Mew, Pikachu, Eevee, and Stantler begin to fall.)

(Misty cries out.)

Misty: "They're falling!"

(Tomo throws his Pokeball and calls out.)

Tomo: "Sage, grab it with Vine Whip!"

(Sage comes out of the Pokeball and quickly grabs the net.)

(Just then, the net breaks from the bottom and little Stantler begins to fall as Mew, Pikachu and Eevee hold on to the net.)

Mew: "Stantler!"

(Mew cries out and jumps down.)

(Mew then grabs Stantler and decides to use her own body as a shield to protect it from the fall.)

(Brock runs over.)

Brock: "I'm coming guys!"

(Brock then jumps into the bushes as Mew and Stantler crash in it.)

(And soon, Brock climbs out to have Mew in his arms, and Stantler in Mew's arms.)

(Brock smiles and says.)

Brock: "Good thing I was in little league."

(Soon, Misty and the others, including the Pokemon arrive.)

Misty: "What a catch,"

(Misty says.)

Jen: "Stantler is safe!"

(Jen happily says.)

(Tomo smiles and says.)

Tomo: "As Casey would say, 'That was the play of the day.'"

Mew: "I think you're right,"

(Mew says.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket's balloon crash lands in a tree and Team Rocket checks on the damages.)

Jessie: "A total disaster,"

(Jessie says.)

Meowth: "Our balloon's marooned!"

(Meowth says in shock.)

(Soon, they hear the sound of hoofs.)

Meowth: "What now?!"

(Meowth asks and turns around.)

(When Meowth turns around, he can see a whole herd of angry looking Stantler staring at them.)

(However, Team Rocket thinks it's another illusion.)

Jessie: "How dim do they think we are?"

(Jessie questions.)

Meowth: "It's putting us on again,"

(Meowth says.)

James: "I'm sick of this Stantler trick!"

(James says in frustration that he throws the remote at one of the Stantler's heads.)

(But this time, the remote hits the Stantler's head and lands on the ground.)

(Then the Stantler steps on it with its hoof.)

(Seeing that, Team Rocket has to come to realize that these Stantler are no illusion.)

Jessie: "Either that's a very good illusion..."

(Jessie says.)

James says, "Or we're in very deep trouble."

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "Maybe if we're very quiet..."

(But before they can do a thing, the Stantler herd charges at them, and the head Stantler hits Team Rocket with full force and sends them flying.)

(Team Rocket screams.)

Team Rocket: "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

(Soon, Team Rocket flies away as Mew and the others witness it.)

(Later in the evening, Mew and the others take little Stantler to its herd.)

(Brock then says to little Stantler.)

Brock: "Go on. They're all waiting for you."

Mew: "Yeah Stantler, it's time to be with your real family,"

(Mew says.)

(Soon, the little Stantler heads back to its herd and is now fully greeted by his mother.)

(With their final goodbyes, little Stantler, its mother, and herd take their leave back to the mountains.)

(Mew and the others wave goodbye to Stantler as the herd return back home.)

(Mew and Brock help little Stantler, and the herd end up helping Mew and Brock in a way.)

(Now that Stantler is back home, Mew and her friends continue their adventure through Johto and make their way to Violet City.)
