S.S. Anne.

[Kaori POV]

It's been 3 days after my battle against Lt. Surge. Not gonna lie, it was kinda hard, guess I still need more actual experience that games can't teach me.

I wanted to go to Celadon City and defeat Erika but, there was a problem. S.S. Anne, aka the place where most of the protagonists where at some point in their stories. I had a compromise in there to get some items that I read were in the boat and expected at most only Ash and Red to be on board but, I didn't expect meeting everyone here.

"Hey! Kaori!" Ash came to see me.

"How have you been?"

"Great, got the third Gym Badge, and you?" Kaori.

"Hehehe. I have 3 badges now!"

"No way you beat the first gym with Pikachu. And taking into account the Pokémon that appear in the way to Pewter City, there's no chance you found a fighting, ground, water, grass or steel type to help you."

"Well…I did my best and got the badge so that's all that matters ha-ha…"

"Let me guess, you lost but somehow Brock gave you the badge."

*GULP*

"Speaking of which…How are you, Brock?"

"I've been good, thanks for asking." Brock.

"And aren't you the girl with the stolen bike?"

"The name is Misty, seems that you defeated my sisters in combat."

"Sisters? You mean those so-called Gym Leaders of Cerulean?"

"Yep, those are my sisters." Misty looked saddened by the comment.

"I wasn't trying to be mean, its just that if they don't take seriously the charge of Gym Leader, then they shouldn't get the job in the first place."

"*SIGH* I guess."

"Ash? Is that you!?" Red came out of nowhere and greeted Ash.

"Red! So, you are here too." Ash.

"Yep, got the ticket in a lottery a few days back. I wanted to go to the next city but, a luxury cruise is worth the wait." Red.

"Whoa, it's the knucklehead duo." Blue.

Blue appeared from the crowd and got near the group; Gary was following behind him.

"Who are you calling a knucklehead!?" Red and Ash.

"If you can't figure something that simple out....I don't have to say more, do I?" Blue.

"Blue, you jerk!" Ash.

"Always acting all high and mighty!" Red.

The group kept their quarrel for a few minutes and Kaori decided to explore the ship. He bid his farewell to Brock and Misty and went towards the buffet area.

Kaori devoured dish after dish, in his past life, he couldn't eat different kinds of food, he was bound to eat the bland and, in some cases, horrible hospital food. So, in this world he has eaten all sorts of plates, of course, he gained fat and had to lose it via exercise, hence his morning routine.

'Everything here is so tasty! Everything has a nice temperature and the flavors are mixing and creating new unique tastes! God Wexof, thank you for everything!'

While Kaori was eating, he saw Green pickpocketing some of the richer passengers of the ship. Kaori couldn't go against his mischievous side and went to nag her a little.

'10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 thousand Pokédollars. I'm rich!' Green smirks while counting her money.

"Yo, Green. Wanna lend me some?" Kaori appears near her shoulder.

Green gets surprised but doesn't make a single sound to not blow her cover.

"I…have no…idea of what…you are…talking about" Green said in a trembling voice.

"You don't? that's a shame, I was about to tell you that those bills have the fingerprints of the passengers and a through investigation can send you to prison for quite some time." Kaori explained and was preparing himself to yell.

"Shh! Ok, ok, I get the gist. What do you want?" Green whispered, she was so nervous that she forgot she has gloves on.

"Give back that money to their respective owners or I'll snitch on you." Kaori.

"Snitches get stiches." Green.

"Oh? What kind of stiches can you give me?" Kaori cracked his knuckles.

"None. Why do you care though? They have more than enough for themselves."

"Because, when I gifted you Squirtle and a Pokédex, I promised Prof Oak to make sure you stay out of trouble." Kaori.

"Meanie." Green pouts.

"Now, don't be like that. I read once that getting angry increases aging." Kaori.

Green starts to emit a murderous aura and stares at Kaori.

"F*ck." Kaori.

Kaori then begins to run away from Green and she follows him with a murderous gaze.

Kaori runs around the whole cruise with Green chasing him. At first, he wanted to trail her off somewhere in between the casino and the kitchen but…he couldn't.

Kaori eventually reaches the Pokémon battle are, in which, Red, Blue and the rest were watching and battling.

"Guys!!! Help me!!!" Kaori announces his arrival and jumps into a water-like arena and falls in the water.

He quickly swims to one of the platforms but Green follows him.

"Nowhere to run, Kaori!!!" Green.

"Open this door!" Kaori.

"It seems that the arena you two are in has the door mechanisms damaged. You'll have to wait there till someone gets a large enough stair." Gary.

"Why is that girl that mad at you anyway?" Blue.

"I may or may not have called her old." Kaori.

"No…I'm out." Blue.

"Me too." Gary.

"Me three." Red.

"Good luck Kaori, best wishes!" Ash.

"Even you Ash?! And what's with those condescending looks!" Kaori.

"Oh, wait! I still have my real friends!" Kaori takes out Beedrill's Pokéball and sends it towards the center platform.

"Bee!"

"Really?! This again?! Accept your punishment like a man!" Green.

"Over my dead body! Let's do this the same way most of the things work in this world, with a Pokémon Battle!" Kaori.

"Nah, screw you." Green takes out a Pokéball and Wigglytuff comes out from it.

"Jiggly, get me out of here."

Wigglytuff inflates herself and Green hangs unto her leg, she gets out of the arena and flips Kaori off.

"What an attitude. Beedrill, String Shot please." Kaori.

Beedrill pulls Kaori out of the arena and he then watches hoe everyone from the group awkwardly ignores him.

"I feel betrayed, but I'll let it pass for this time." Kaori stated and went back to the buffet area.

Eventually, Kaori had to give his speech about the different types of evolution. For the better or worse of the situation, a rampaging Gyarados appear and starts wrecking the place.

'Ah, I forgot this part.' Kaori thought as ha was hanging from the ceiling.

'I have full confidence that everyone will be fine but, I have to take care of the civies.' Kaori.

Kaori saved the civies one after another. Beedrill managed to attach many strings to some parts of the ship and with the help of Kaori made a makeshift boat. After helping everyone out, he went back inside what remained of the S.S. Anne.

Kaori is now in the remainings of the ship making his own makeshift boat.

"So much for vacation plans. In a sense I even feel disappointed that the Gyarados fled. Maybe I'm becoming a battle maniac, well, as long as I don't endanger the lives of others, everything will be fine." Kaori.

Kaori finishes his boat and was about to leave until he saw a big safe. Kaori smiles and an idea spark in his head, then goes to loot the rest of the ship, the safe included.

'I'm technically not stealing, I'm doing what most of the trainers in my old world have, had and will do. Taking things that people leave on the ground!' Kaori has dollar signs in his eyes.

After finishing looting the ship, Kaori ended with a humungous amount of wealth and items such as: Dragon Scale, Poison Barb, Electirizer, Razor Claw, Prism Scale, etc. Unfortunately, he can't carry everything due to him not having an infinite pouch or bag. So, he had to leave what he deemed as "less valuable"

'In every Pokémon game, the protagonist can hold an infinite number of objects in his bag, where's my infinite bag?'

[Answer: the host didn't request one of those to Lord Wexof]

'Didn't you say that I have to talk directly to you to receive an answer? Also, it would be suspicious.'

'Hypocrite. Good thing I gave Green 100 thousand Pokédollars when I was scolding/annoy her. Otherwise, I would also be a hypocrite.'

Kaori starts rowing his boat towards Celadon City, or at least as close as he could.
