Pokemon: Brock's Younger Brother?

David never thought he would be transmigrated after a tired day of work. Waking up to the feeling of nausea. But there he was... Now on his feet up in the middle of a dark room with his other siblings there. "I'm Forrest?" Looking around David was shaken as he assessed his situation. David was in for a surprise as the son of Flint and the second eldest of the family as Brock's little brother. ___________________ There will be no "Levels" or "Talents". The Story will be more realistic with add-ons by myself of course. But I won't make the story "dark" as I enjoy Pokemon for the brighter side of the series and catching Pokemon. Some cities, towns, or small pieces of information will be made up myself to fit the story.

An Unexpected Encounter

[Brock (Brock Harrison)]

You: plesssssssssssssss I NEEEEEEEEEEEDD

Brock: Sure if I find one

Brock: But be careful if I send you one, it won't be friendly.

You: thanks you're the best! I'm gonna battle the Fuchsia City gym first so I won't get my first official gym badge in a while :(

Brock: I also saw your Squirtle and Clefairy on Pokebook, don't hesitate to ask for advice.

Brock: I've gotta go, I'm in a forest right now. Good luck on your gym battle!

You: Bai bai!

(A/N: Can you guess what Pokemon Forrest is asking Brock for? I'll give you a cookie if you get it right. Only when he gets the Pokemon though hehe)

"Hopefully Brock can get one." I murmur getting off my Pokedex. Dad told me to splurge on TMs recenty to help my team out.

Now I don't want to say this is a bad thing, but the only Pokemon ready for TMs right now is Lairon and maybe Scyther.

Taking a sip of my hot coco, I switch my attention to Clefairy to who was trying to drink her own hot coco.

"Cleee…Fairyyy…" Clefairy who was copying me, started to blow on her drink to cool it down. But like the child she was, she got impatient and took a sip of it while it was still hot.

"CLEEE!"

She screeched out soon after making me laugh.

"Squirtle squirt!"

"Lai Lairon!"

A certain tiny turtle and iron armour Pokemon could be heard laughing as well near the side. Squirtle enjoying his lemonade, was sitting next to Lairon who was basking in the sun.

"Cle Clefairy!" Clefairy shouted at the two with tears in its eyes. Before anything could escalate though. Scyther walked up to Clefairy and handed her a sliced pokepuff that I bought for him.

"Scyther." The mantis Pokemon says softly calming down Clefairy. Clefairy getting an embarrassed look, gets a cheeky grin as it nibbled on the Pokepuff.

"Guys finish up your food soon, we're heading out to buy some stuff." I tell my Pokemon as I blew on Clefairy's hot coco to cool it down. We were currently at a Pokeneutral cafe to where both trainers and Pokemon were allowed.

Because they were hungry I had to treat them with some food.

This works as a bonding session between my Pokemon so they get used to each other's company.

After after Clefairy and Squirtle finished their drinks, I was about to stand up as I heard a voice.

"Brock?"

Hearing a woman's voice to the side of me, I turn around in confusion.

A girl with short orange hair tied into a side ponytail entered my vision. She wore a yellow tank top, red suspenders and denim shorts.

'Misty?' I thought to myself looking into her green eyes. I still remembered her from the anime, I mean who wouldn't? She was one of Ash's companions and is now the gym leader of this city.

"Oh I apologise, I thought you looked like a friend of mine. You know a similar face and all.." Misty awkwardly trailed off realising I wasn't Brock.

"Are you by chance Misty? Brock has talked about you and Ash a lot at home." I cheerfully say removing her awkward start. Misty hearing this brightens up and realised that I'm Brock's sibling.

"Are you one of Brock's brother, Forrest? You going on a journey is a huge move to the public." Misty says.

Nodding at her words I explain how I was currently on my journey.

"I plan to go to the indigo league this year. Here take a seat, we can chat for a bit."

Misty with a bright smile took a seat next to Clefiary who was off to the side conversing with Scyther.

"That's so cool, so I'm guessing that you're gonna battle me soon? I wont go easy on you."

Hearing this I shake my head.

"Na you're not on my list to battle right now. I already planned out which gym leaders I would battle." I say. "No offence but your level 4 and 3 badge teams aren't too strong."

Misty giggling at my words, agrees with what I said.

"Well I just took over the gym last year, I made a decent amount of progress but it's tough work. I'm so jealous of your Dad's gym. You guys made soo much progress with the gym and your teams." Misty proclaimed with a grumpy face. She went on to say how she checked the kanto league website and got surprised on how the gym has such a strong line up, with back up Pokemon for each gym badge team already.

It does take a while to train teams for eight different badge levels. This doesn't include the fact of having back up for each of those gym badge level teams.

"I could barely even find any competent gym trainers to hire." Misty complains getting a little too comfortable in this conversation.

"Speaking of which, I heard you're aiming to be a water type master. You have any tips for my starter Squirtle." I asked, taking advantage of the fact Misty knew my brother.

Hey information is key and if it can help me train. This is the perfect opportunity to get some advice for Squirtle.

We don't really count mother as she is, how do I put it.

Special in her own way I suppose…

Last time I heard of her, she wanted to be an artist and made an art piece with a mop. Granted it did sell for over 1.2 million to some rich dude.

Misty looking through my Pokemon squeals after spotting my Clefairy. The little pink fluff not knowing what predator was on the horizon, didn't expect to get attacked out in the open.

"It's so cute!" Misty saying this gives Clefairy a huge hug.

"Fairy fairy!" Clefairy shouts fighting for its life. Chuckling at her misfortune today, I ask Misty to not get off topic.

"Misty can you let go of Clefairy." I asked seeing that Clefairy was squirming in her grasp. Misty realising this quickly apologised.

"I'm so sorry hehe."

Taking Clefairy from her hold, Misty proceeded to take a look at Squirtle. This made me a bit nervous though as she was staring at the tiny turtle for a bit too long.

Seeing Misty rub her chin in thought, I receive a message. Looking down at my phone I realise it's the stuff I ordered for pick up.

[To Forrest]

PickUp: Your order will be ready in 5 minutes sir! Please come by to pick it up near the pick up station.

"Your Squirtle is extremely healthy Forrest. It's probably some of the best breed I've personally seen. In terms of parent genes it's practically hit the lottery and is almost on par to a personal Professor's starters." I hear Misty say in awe.

Smiling at her words, I just give Squirtle a thumbs up to which my Pokemon returned instantly.

"If you don't know how to train Squirtle, the best advice I can give you is to hold off on all physical training and work on his moves. Do mild physical training when it evolves and then focus on intese physical training when it's a Blastoise." She explains. Misty further explains that a Squirtle's body is too soft for physical training at its current form.

It's main defence is with its shell and that's the reason it's known for being a tank as a Squirtle and Wartortle.

Only as a Blastoise can it physically tank hits anywhere on the body, the shell acts like a shield for the turtle Pokemon in its early stages.

"Thanks for the advice, I've gotta get going." I say after we conversed for a while.

"Let's exchange numbers before you go." Misty says with a smirk. Ignoring the smirk I accept her number and retrieve my Pokemon.

I had some groceries to yoink.

"Let's go Clefairy."

Clefairy hearing this, vigorously nods wanting to get away from the crazy tomboy. We proceeded to do short walk towards the local supermarket.

You could order items online and pay for it, then after pick it up. This system was made quite a long time ago as trainers used this method the most.

As you could imagine it was very successful when it was first implemented. Trainers needing to stock up on supplies, would buy heaps of food and other items all at once.

I was just casually strolling until I heard a loud shout. This ended up containing my name which made my body freeze.

"Yo is that Forrest, he's the kid of a gym leader!" One kid says surprised.

After these words it unfortunately had a domino effect as multiple other people recognised me.

"It's the Clefairy he posted on Pokebook!"

"Can you show us your Squirtle please!"

"Wasn't there another gym leader who had their kid join the indigo league?"

Hearing all this rambling I started to get a headache from all this attention. Why didn't Brock get this kind of attention when he traveled with Ash damnit.

Was Brock that unpopular back then when he ran the gym? I guess Flint did practically revive Pewter City so I can't compare the two.

'I'll need a mask and a cap. It's the go to disguise for anyone not wanting to be recognised.' I thought to myself with a tired look.

"Sir that will be 245,000₱."

Quickly paying for the TMs I purchased using my Dad's card , I made my way out of the store in excitement. I really wanted to give Lairon his TMs right now.

Doesn't it feel good to have so much money! Well it doesn't matter too much. You could technically take this as me being sponsored by my parents as they pay for everything.

I get stronger and bring back more popularity and fans to Pewter City Gym by the end of my journey. Plus I'm pretty sure actual trainers with big name sponsors would spend more than this.

So even if I flop, being a gym leader gives the big bucks.

Not all of the TMs are for Lairon as over half of the TMs are for the rest of my members. Looking down at the receipt, I take a quick glance at it.

Dad said to just pop off which I did, I wonder if he's crying at home right now.

Well he has probably spent more on his Pokemon anyways…

"Let's check Tyranitar right now actually." I murmur opening my Pokedex.

'Excuse me, what in the absolute fvck is this Tyranitar made out of?'

Looking at my Pokedex with an incredulous look. I soon after made my way out of the shop with people staring at me weirdly.

Dad said he spent the same amount of money for most of his team, so his other five are like Tyranitar?

"I don't think this amount of money would even make a dent in their account." I say to myself in disbelief.

With everything already packed up and ready, I headed back to the hotel to end the day.

Supplies are refilled.

Pokemon are fed.

I'm fed.

Pokemon food made.

'I think I'm missing something?'

Soon after this I realised what I forgot.

Dirty Clothes…
