A Great reward for a Great Trainer!

Ace sat in the stands with Charmander in his lap, feeding him with a Milk Bottle. He would describe the battle but… Ash went 3 for 1 using only his Krabby turned Kingler! This Mandy guy wasn't… well, he wasn't very good.

Ace's lips twitched, what's going on here? Is this the level of trainers in Kanto? He sighed to himself as he continued watching the matches…

A few days later

Ace sat in the stands, nearly falling asleep. Misty shook him, "Ash won!" Brock nodded, "That's the 4th battle! He can move on into the top 16!" Ace yawned and woke up, "Huh? Is it over?" Misty and Brock looked at him with twitching lips.

It was only a day until the next battle against Ritchie!

Ace paid attention to this game. Charmander cheered in his lap, "Char Char!"

The first Pokemon sent out was Butterfree vs Squirtle… Squirtle was put to sleep and Pikachu came in to finish Butterfree.

After that, Pikachu lost to Charmander. Finally…

Ash sent out Charizard!

Ace looked at Charizard, who blasted Charmander with a Flamethrower, ending the battle instantly. Ritchie clenched his fists, "Get out there, Sparky!" A Pikachu jumped out and Charizard looked at him, snorting.

Ash waved a fist, "Come on, Charizard! That Pikachu won't be easy to deal with!" Ace looked helpless, "What do you mean…"

Charizard yawned and laid down on the ground as Ash froze, shouting, "Charizard, get up!" Ace frowned and said "Are you joking?" Misty and Brock froze as Ace shouted, "Remember what I told you, Ash!"

Ash paused and looked back at Ace before turning to Charizard, "Come on, Charizard, prove Ace wrong! I believe in you!" Charizard paused and turned back to Ash, looking at Ace, before freezing instantly.

Ace was glaring at him with an enraged expression. Charizard burst into a cold sweat and got back up, blowing a flamethrower at Pikachu as Ash cheered, "Yeah, Charizard! Get him with a Seismic Toss!" Ritchie shouted, "Sparky, dodge it!"

But how could he dodge it? Charizard grabbed Sparky and flew in a circle, smashing Pikachu into the ground and knocking him out instantly!

Ash jumped up and cheered, "Alright! We won!" Ace calmed down and clapped with a frown. Misty and Brock were silently clapping.

Ritchie took back Pikachu and sighed, walking over with a smile, "You got it, Ash! Win this thing!" Ash clasped hands with Ritchie, "I will, Ritchie!" Ritchie smiled and laughed, chatting with Ash.

Ace got up and walked away, this Charizard has to go. It's unacceptable. If Ash really lost the game because of it, Ace would've crushed his Pokeball on the spot! No matter how reluctant Ash was!

Ash walked out happily and Ace was waiting for him, looking at him, "Release it." Ash froze and said "But, he helped me win!" Ace shook his head, "It's too unstable! He listened to you while I was here, will he listen to you when I'm not around? It's dangerous, Ash!"

Ash retorted, "I believe in him, Ace! He's one of my precious partners!" Ace frowned and snorted in frustration, "Fine, but you can't use him anymore." Ash was shocked, "But!" Ace waved, "No buts! Send him back to Professor Oak! You don't need him to win! You can do it with your own skills!"

Ash looked upset and Ace looked at the Pokeballs on his belt, frowning at Charizard's, "I thought he would understand. Turns out he's too stupid to understand in the end. Though, I guess I should've expected it. No wonder he was abandoned."

Charizard felt the piercing gaze and curled up in the Pokeball. Ash sighed, "You don't have to be so mean. If I really lost, then it would be my own fault, Teacher…" Ace looked at him and sighed, rubbing his head, "I don't want to be mean, Ash. I just want you to be safe. You don't even need to win, but it's a step for your dream. I don't want you to be sad because of something like that."

Ash looked upset and Ace pulled him along, "Come with me, I want to help you train for a bit." Ash looked at him and nodded, Ace rubbed Ash's head with a smile, "Silly kid, you're my only student. I want you to be happy, you know?" Ash smiled, "Yeah, I know!"

Ace smiled and brought Ash to the forest near Indigo Plateau.

Ace said, "Alright, let them all out." Ash let out all his Pokemon. Ace looked at them and nodded, "Is that all of them?" Ash nodded and said, "Well, I have a bunch with Professor Oak and my Primeape is with a Fighting Type Trainer named Anthony." 

Ace froze, he forgot about this, "What? Who?" Ash said, "Oh, that guy is a Fighting Competition trainer…" Ace frowned, "No, unacceptable! How can you give your Pokemon to random people to train?! Are you crazy?!" Ash was stunned and said, "He's not random…"

Ace was so angry, his lungs nearly burst! "Don't give away Pokemon to people you don't trust! That's your Pokemon, Ash!" Ash scratched the back of his head. Ace sighed and asked, "Where is this Anthony guy?"

Ash shrugged, "I don't know." Ace almost exploded, "What do you mean?! You left Primeape with a random and just left?!" Ash nodded and Ace slapped his forehead, "Stay here! Don't move!" as he got on Noivern, "Sirfetch'd, fight with Ash while I'm gone."

Sirfetch'd nodded and took out three leeks, looking menacing!

Ash looked at Sirfetch'd and said, "Alright, Sirfetch'd! Come on!" Sirfetch'd nodded and attacked with an Extreme Tiger Hunt!

Ace flew across Kanto extremely quickly, scanning the ground with his Observation Haki. He complained endlessly in his heart about this silly kid. But then again, who fools a kid?!

Only a bastard!

As Ace flew over Celadon City, he saw a Primeape training with a Hitmonchan. Ace flew down and looked at Primeape, "Are you Ash's Primeape?" The man looked at Ace, "Who?" Ace ignored him and looked at the Primeape who looked surprised, pointing at himself and nodding.

Ace nodded and grabbed Primeape, "Come on, let's go." The man shouted, "Hey! Wait! You're stealing my Pokemon!" Ace sneered, "Not your Pokemon, buddy. You're pretty clever, stealing a Pokemon from a kid! Not to mention, your training is so terrible that this Primeape is suffering in your hands!"

Anthony was so angry, his lungs nearly exploded, "I'm calling Officer Jenny!" Ace laughed, "Call her! I don't give a shit!" He turned and kicked out, sending the Hitmonlee flying into a building!

Ace snorted and said, "Your Fighting Type Training is worse than a kid's! It's a real shame you're ruining this Hitmonchan, but hey… That's none of my business." he jumped off and walked over to Anthony, "Give me Primeape's Pokeball."

Anthony snorted, "No! Take this!" as he punched at Ace!

Ace wanted to laugh as he tilted his head, "Seriously, man? Go back home and quit." before shooting his knee up and making Anthony curl like a shrimp! Ace stomped on the ground and punched out in a horse stance, sending Anthony flying a few meters.

Ace shook his head and walked over, picking up Primeape's Pokeball before jumping on Noivern again. Primeape looked at him in shock, "Primeape!" Ace looked at him and smiled, "Don't worry, I'll fix your little injuries. That bad guy fooled Ash, but now you'll stay with him, okay?"

Primeape flexed and winced a bit in pain. Ace held the Primeape, feeling his muscles and frowning, "What the hell! This is abuse!" most of Primeape's muscles were extremely worn out, even his bones had microfractures!

Ace was so angry, he almost turned around and beat Anthony to death! He snorted and flew back to the Indigo Plateau. 

He bought a Phoenix Pill from the Shop and fed it to Primeape.

It only cost 500k BP

But the effect was pretty powerful.

Primeape turned into a Hairless monkey before exploding with flames! When the flames were gone, a brand new shiny Primeape appeared!

Primeape jumped up and down in excitement, feeling much stronger than before, "Primeape! Primeape!!!" Ace smiled and patted his head, "We'll see Ash soon!" Primeape flexed, "Prime!"

It didn't take long to get back.

Ace landed down and put Primeape down. Ash looked over and his eyes lit up, "Primeape!" he ran over and hugged him as Primeape hugged Ash excitedly, "Primeape!" Ace smiled and handed Ash Primeape's Pokeball, "That guy was finished with his training, you don't have to go see him anymore. Don't worry, I thanked him for you."

Ash smiled at Ace, "Thank you, Ace!" Ace smiled and nodded, "No problem. He was very happy with his reward!"

Do you think Ace is a Gary Stu? Hm. Unfortunately, the person who said it can't prove it at all! Which is a bit disappointing! It's like as if he's maliciously misleading people! Sigh.

Also, give Charmander to James? I think this is a good idea! But if James gives him away like Cacnea, I might explode! Regardless, James training plan has been on the agenda since before this book was written! That damn Gardenia! How dare she steal Based James' Cacnea?!
